Jack’s POV
The whole pack was messing around in the sun while me and William was sat back watching them and keeping an eye on everything.
“That Prince has some serious problems.” I said and William chuckled.
“He isn’t that bad once you build a bond up with him.” William said and I looked at him.
“How would you know?” I asked.
“Before the accident I was one of the people who looked after Alex. It after the accident and him running away he has changed.” William said as he looked down.
“He’s hard work Jack but honestly when you break through those walls he’s actually isn’t as bad as what you think he is.” William said and I heard something move in the trees which made me growl loudly and I felt myself change and William just let me go off.
I walked into the clump of trees which covered our dorm and I saw someone sat by a tree which made me frown as I gingerly walked over and I saw it was Alex.
Something didn’t feel right and I walked over to him and shifted back into human form and knelt in front of Alex.
“Alex?” I said and tapped his face which got no response.
I looked around and couldn’t find nothing around Alex and I looked at his arm and saw red through his sleeve.
I pulled the sleeve back and there was a deep cut looking at me which was still bleeding which made me start to worry.
“Fucking hell.” I said and I picked Alex up and walked him back towards the dorm.
When I got there everyone stopped what they was doing and looked at me.
William walked over and I let out a quiet growled for some reason and William stopped and stayed where he was.
“What happened?” Luna asked as she came over but William gently caught hold of her arm to stop her coming any closer.
“He’s hurt himself.” I said as I looked at Alex who was still passed out in my arms.
“I need to get his arm sorted.” I said and walked off towards the house and to the sitting room where I placed Alex on the sofa and I got the first aid box we had just Incase something happened or if anyone got too rough when playing.
I rolled Alex’s sleeves up and looked at the cut on his arm and sighed as I cleaned his arm and sorted the wound out and bandaged his arm.
Once I did that I took Alex up to my room and placed him on my bed and I sat in the window reading a book until Alex woke up again.

I stayed with Alex until the early evening and that was when he woke up.
“Where the fuck am I?” Alex said groggily as he tried to sit up but I moved over to my bed and sat on it and gently pushed him back down to lie down.
“You in the wolf dorm, I found you in the woods around the dorms.” I said softly and Alex frowned at me.
“You also hurt yourself.” I said and Alex lifted his arm up and looked at the bandage arm and he sighed loudly.
“I fucked up.” Alex said as he looked at me and I shrugged my shoulders.
“Sort of guessed something wasn’t right as you weren’t really happy when I saw you the other night.” I said and Alex looked down and he rolled over so his back was too me.
“Would you like some food?” I asked softly and Alex shook his head.
“No thanks.” Alex said quietly and I smiled slightly as I got up and walked out the room and went downstairs for food.
“How is he?” Zach asked as he sat next to me.
“Quiet, it’s strange to have him that quiet and not having a answer for everything.” I said and I looked up and saw William.
“Zach, can you leave so I can talk to Jack.” William said and Zach nodded.
“Yes alpha.” Zach said as he stood up and walked away from me and William.
“Something isn’t right with him. I mean I don’t think he’s ever been this quiet and not annoying before.” I said and I looked at William as I ate my food as I was really hungry, like normal really.
“It’s coming up to 2 years since his family got killed. He’s normally quietly and really touchy this time of year.” William said quietly and I almost felt bad.
“You need to be sensitive around him otherwise he will just fucking explode and dealing with a unstable Moroi losing their cool is almost as bad as when one of us loses it.” William said and I sighed loudly.
“He doesn’t even like me so he’ll probably lose it quicker than anything.” I said and William chuckled.
“The fact he hasn’t ran out the dorm yet I’m taking it as a good sign that he does like you.” William said and I looked down at my food.
“I need to get him some food.” I said as I stood up and went over to where the food was and I put some food on the plate and I went up to my room.
I walked into my room where Alex was sat up in my bed.
“So I know you said you didn’t want any food but I thought if your anything like me then you’ll always be hungry.” I said and Alex smiled slightly as I walked over and handed Alex the plate which he took.
“I didn’t know what food you like so I just got you everything and just hoped for the best.” I said and Alex looked at me and smiled slightly again.
“I’m sure it’s really nice. Thanks Jack.” Alex said quietly as he started to eat the food on the plate.
After a while Alex had finished eating and we was sat in silence while I did my homework and Alex was sat in the window looking out of it.
“You can stay here tonight if you like.” I said and Alex looked at me.
“You shouldn’t have to put up with me.” Alex said and I shrugged my shoulders and Alex got out the window and walked over and sat on my bed.
“Well considering I have to keep an eye on you and the Moroi in your dorm don’t exactly like me and the rest of the pack are tolerating you being here.” I said and Alex smiled slightly.
“I guess I can stay. I don’t exactly want to be alone in my room right now as I don’t really trust myself.” Alex said quietly as he looked down.
“That’s fine, you can have my bed as I’ll probably be up for most of the night anyway.” I said and Alex nodded slightly.
“I have to go back to my room to get some clothes.” Alex said.
“That’s fine, you can borrow my clothes if you don’t mind smelling a dog.” I said and Alex looked at me.
“I can’t do that.” Alex said and I got up and found some clothes which should fit Alex and turned round and handed them to him.
“Yeah you can, hopefully these will fit you since your a bit slimmer than what I am.” I said as Alex took them off me.
“The bathroom is just over there if you want to change.” I said and Alex nodded as he got off the bed and walked over to the bathroom and the door was pushed too and I looked and I could see Alex getting undressed.
While I watched him undressed I saw some really nasty scars on his back.
I looked down when Alex opened the door and walked back into the room and he put his clothes in a neat pile on the floor.
“Can you come with me for a cigarette?” Alex asked and I looked up at him and nodded but I knew it was going to be cold and since I don’t ever feel the cold I looked for a hoodie and handed it to Alex who looked at me confused.
“It’ll be cold outside, I don’t feel that cold and I’m guessing you do so here have a hoodie.” I said and Alex took the hoodie and put it on and he left the hood up and he looked at me.
“Follow me.” I said and walked off with Alex following me.
We was stood outside when Zach joined us.
“Such a disgusting habit.” I said and Alex and Zach both looked at me.
“William literally means it when he says you need to lighten the fuck up.” Zach said.
“I don’t really care to be honest. I am who I am and you can’t really change it.” I said and Zach looked around me and looked at Alex who had his head down and all you could see was him smoking.
“Is he okay?” Zach asked as he looked at me.
“He’ll be fine. Just needs some space right now.” I said and Zach looked around me again which made me growl slightly.
“Carry on staring or even better take a photo because it’ll last longer.” Alex said sarcastically as he looked at Zach.
“Sorry Sir.” Zach said as he backed down as in our eyes Alex was like a alpha if not a little more important than William.
Alex just grunted and he sat on the floor and carried on smoking his cigarette.
I just looked at Zach and shrugged my shoulders.
Zach had finished his cigarette and he went back inside.
A few minutes later Alex had finished and he stood up and he looked at me.
“You ready to go back inside?” I asked and Alex nodded and we went inside and back up to my room.

Alex was looking around my room and he stopped when he looked at a picture of my mother and father.
“This your mother and father?” Alex asked as he looked at the picture but he didn’t touch it.
“Yes, that’s my parents.” I said as I watched Alex’s body language.
“What happened to them?” Alex asked as he looked at me.
“Nothing. They both live happily in a pack somewhere, they move around a lot so I never know where they are going to be.” I said and Alex smiled sadly as he looked around my room and he walked over to my bed and he sat on it and looked at the dream catcher I had at the head of my bed.
“To catch the bad dreams and let the good dreams pass so they can be dreamt again.” I said and Alex smiled slightly and he looked at me and he looked at the necklace which was given to me by my parents.
“It’s meant to bring you good luck while you’re away from home.” I said as I took it off so Alex could get a better look.
“Why doesn’t it break when you change?” Alex asked.
“I have no clue to be honest.” I said and Alex smiled and he looked at me and a few seconds later I broke the eye contact and I put my necklace back on.
I was watching tv while Alex was asleep beside me when he was twitching and mumbling in his sleep and before I could do anything Alex sat bolt up right and he was looking around and patting the bed and I moved and turned the bed side light on where I saw Alex panting to catch his breath.
“Hey, is everything okay?” I asked and Alex looked at me.
“Y..Y..Yeah.” Alex stuttered as he looked down.
“You sure?” I asked and Alex nodded as he lead down and rolled over so his back was to me.
“Night Jack.” Alex said quietly but I wasn’t convinced he was okay but I wasn’t going to push Alex so I rolled over and turned the light out and rolled over to my side and I got comfy again.
“Night Alex.” I said quietly as I allowed sleep to finally take over my body.

I managed to get Alex to come downstairs and join everyone for breakfast.
“Who said he could have breakfast with us? He’s an annoying little brat.” Oscar said right next to Alex and Alex didn’t look impressed.
“William said he was allowed to eat with us and I suggest you don’t piss Alex off as at the end of the day he is a royal and you respect the royals.” I said.
“A royal my ass.” Oscar said sarcastically and Alex slammed his plate down and looked at Oscar hard.
“My parents was Peter and Isabelle Gaskarth. My brother was Freddie Gaskarth. Now if you had any sort of fucking education you will know the Gaskarths are part of the 12 royal families my kind have. Now will you shut the fuck up about me not being a royal. So you can now call me Sir or Prince whenever you see me.” Alex said seriously and he sat down and started to eat his food like nothing had happened and everyone else stayed quiet and I walked so I was behind Oscar and I got down to his ear so only he could hear me.
“Now you will respect him and you never disagree with him.” I whispered and stood back up and took my place back next to Alex.
I was walking Alex back to his dorm since he said he would be okay to be one his own tonight.
“I noticed that the boy who said I wasn’t royal has blue eyes when he’s a wolf. He was the only one who has blue eyes. I know you and your alpha have red eyes but what does the blue and yellow eyes mean?” Alex said and I looked at him.
“Blue eyes means that they have killed a innocent. Yellow means they haven’t killed a innocent.” I said and Alex frowned not understand the meaning of innocent.
“Humans. Oscars eyes are blue because he has killed humans in the past before joining this pack.” I said and Alex looked at me wide eyed.
“Is he the only one in your pack who has done that?” Alex asked.
“There’s Oscar and Tate. Those two are the only ones who have killed humans. The rest haven’t.” I said as we got to Alex’s dorm who like normal had music playing loudly.
“You can always come and join the party.” Alex said as he turned round and lent against the door.
“But they don’t like me.” I said and Alex chuckled.
“Please, I’m the Prince, if I say you are my guest then they’ll leave you alone. If they give you any trouble then you just come to me.” Alex said.
“I don’t know.” I said unsure about this as I’ve never really been to a party before.
