Jack’s POV

I got to the hospital and instead of getting out the car Alex just sat there staring out the window at the hospital.
“Babe.” I said quietly as I put a hand on his knee and Alex looked at me.
“They are going to be okay Lex.” I said softly and Alex shook his head.
“They said that last time and mum died. I can’t lose the rest of my family Jack.” Alex said quietly and I lent over and kissed Alex’s cheek which made him look at me.
“You have me and Jay right beside you. Yes Jay might not understand what is going on but he’ll help you keep your mind busy and Jay will do exactly that. He needs you just as much as you need me and him put together.” I said and Alex nodded and he looked in the back of the car where Jay was fast asleep in his car seat.
“Go inside and I’ll catch up with you after I’ve got Jay out the car seat.” I said and Alex nodded and looked at me.
“What would I do without you?” Alex asked softly and rested his hand on my cheek.
“You’d Be fucked that’s for sure.” I said and Alex smiled and chuckled softly.
“Yeah I would be.” I whispered as he lent forward and kissed me which I returned.
“I love you.” Alex mumbled against my lips.
“I love you too, now go and I’ll be right beside you in a minute.” I said and Alex nodded and he moved and got out the car and I watched him pull his packet of cigarettes out and started to smoke one as he walked towards the hospital and I looked at Jay and sighed.
“Please don’t hate me when I wake you up again.” I said as I got out the car and sorted everything out to move Jay.

I walked inside and went looking for Alex as I carried Jayden who was not happy at the fact I had woken him up for the second time.
I found Alex in the waiting room and there was a girl there and that got my attention quicker than anything.
“So I have a grumpy baby.” I said as I walked over to Alex who smiled when he saw us and he opened his arms out and I handed him Jay and Jay soon settled.
“Oh Jack this is Terri, she’s Luna’s girlfriend.” Alex said and I smiled at her.
“Didn’t know your sister was gay.” I said to Alex and he chuckled.
“Seriously? That girl literally screams out lesbian.” I said and Terri chuckled.
“And you are gay with a kid? That makes no sense.” Terri said.
“Okay, before I got with Jack I thought I was straight and then I realized how good dick was and I never want to go back. But I think of myself as bisexual.” Alex said and looked at me and I smiled at him.
“I’m going to get some coffee, anyone else want coffee?” Terri asked.
“Yes.” Me and Alex said together and Terri chuckled and walked out the room.
“Have you heard how your dad and Luna are?” I asked and Alex sighed as he kissed Jays head softly so he didn’t wake him.
“Luna needs to stay in a couple of days to be observed but Dad is in a bad shape but they said he’ll be okay.” Alex said quietly.
“Their going to be fine Lex.” I said and Alex looked at me and rested his chin on Jay.
“Until their out of hospital I can’t think that they’ll be fine.” Alex said quietly and he looked at Jay who I guessed was asleep so Alex stood up carefully and put him in his pushchair and put the blanket over him and made sure Jay was warm and was going to stay asleep and once Alex was sure he sat as close as he could to me and I wrapped my arm round his shoulder where Alex caught hold of my hand where he just focused on the sleeping baby.
“So Luna is gay then.” I said after a moment of silence which made Alex chuckle.
“Yeah, my little sister is gay. Mum would be so please at the fact both her kids was gay.” Alex said and he looked down.
“Well you are half gay, you know since you have a kid.” I said and Alex rested his head on my shoulder.
“She would of loved him. She would of loved being a gran and spoil him rotten.” Alex sniffed and I turned my head and kissed the side of his head.
“Don’t think about that, not here as now is not the time.” I said quietly and Alex nodded as he sniffed.

Alex had fallen asleep using my coat as a pillow on top of my lap and he was lead on the chairs and Alex had a hand on Jays push chair incase Someone was to steal him but I had an eye on Jay so nobody would steal him and I was messing with Alex’s hair as I normally did if I was still awake and Alex was falling asleep or was asleep.
Terri showed up with 3 coffees and she looked at Alex.
“Damn, he even misses out on a McDonald’s.” Terri said and I chuckled as I took my coffee off Terri.
“It’s been a long day for him, little man here had him up bright and early this morning and he’s been on the go non stop and he normally crashes at about this time.” I said and Terri smiled as she walked over and looked in the push chair at a sleeping Jay and she smiled again.
“Luna talks about you, Alex and Jay all the time.” Terri said as she sat next to me.
“Does she now.” I said as I studied the McDonalds bag.
“Yeah, And I’ve heard all the details of you two waking her up.” Terri said and I chuckled as I looked at Alex.
“Well she shouldn’t off been up at 4 in the morning.” I said and Terri chuckled.
“He’s cute.” Terri said.
“Who, Alex or the baby?” I asked not know who she was on about.
“Well if I was into guys then I wouldn’t mind a bit of either of you two as you two are gorgeous looking, but the baby just wins the cuteness award.” Terri said and I chuckled which made Alex sigh.
“Shut up will you.” Alex mutter as he rolled over so his face was right by my crouch.
“Lex, Babe, you are right by my dick.” I said and Terri snorted as she held back a laugh.
“I’m not going to suck it in the middle of the hospital.” Alex mumbled and I just rolled my eyes at him as I looked at Terri who was stuffing a chicken nugget in her mouth.
“Anyway, What was we talking about?” I asked and looked at Terri.
“About how cute the baby is.” Terri said and I looked at Jay who had his hands above his head and was flat out asleep.
“Just wait until he wakes up, you won’t be calling him cute then.” I said and Terri chuckled slightly.
“Na I’ve seen the pictures Luna has taken off him and he is cute.” Terri said and Alex sighed loudly and moved my coat and put it over his head.
“No sucking dick Alex.” Terri said and Alex stuck his middle finger up at her.
“How old is little one?” Terri asked.
“Jay is 11 months.” I said and smiled when I looked at Jay.
“He’s a sweetie.” Terri said and she yawned loudly.
“Get some rest, I can’t sleep in these places anyway so I’ll keep an eye on you all.” I said and Terri smiled and she lead down on the chairs.
“So fucking uncomfortable.” Terri grumbled as she got herself comfy and she let herself fall asleep.

A few boring hours later Jay woke up and he looked confused as it wasn’t the dark room that he was used to.
“Babe, move a second.” I said quietly as I combed my fingers through Alex’s hair.
“What?” Alex mumbled as he rolled over to his back.
“Jay is awake, I’ll look after him until you wake up again.” I said and Alex sighed loudly and rubbed his eyes as he woke up a bit more.
“You don’t have too.” Alex said with his voice thick with sleep.
“I don’t mind, if you want some more sleep then you can.” I said and Alex smiled.
I lent down and kissed him which Alex returned.
“You look like shit, go and have some sleep.” Alex said as he sat up with a groan.
“Hey little man.” Alex said as he stretched and Jay let out a slight whine.
“Yeah I know you’ve probably shit your nappy just wait a second.” Alex said and he looked at me and peered round me.
“She has Luna’s jumper on.” Alex said and I looked at him.
“Here she got you McDonald’s but you was asleep.” I said and put the bag on his lap.
“I won’t have that now as I have to change him and I don’t want to throw up.” Alex said and I chuckled as Alex looked at me.
“Get some sleep. I mean it Jack, it’s bad enough having to deal with a grumpy baby. I can’t deal with a grumpy boyfriend as well.” Alex said and I chuckled and looked at him.
Jay started to whine a bit more louder than before and since we weren’t the only ones in the waiting room we didn’t want him to wake anyone up.
“I’ll be back in a minute. Get some sleep.” Alex said as he kissed me and he stood up and got Jay out of his push chair and Alex put Jays bag over his shoulder.
“Dada.” Jay said as Alex walked out the room.
“You’re right, he isn’t that cute.” Terri mumbled and I chuckled as I looked at her and she was still asleep.
I put my feet on Jays push chair and got myself comfy and let myself fall asleep which was difficult to do.

I was woken up by the feel of my falling so my eyes fell open and I managed to stop myself from falling over.
I looked round and saw Alex with Jay by the children’s toys and Jay was sat between Alex’s legs where he was reading Jay a story.
I looked and saw that Terri was still asleep so I got up and stretched with my bone cracking as I stretched which made Alex look over and smile at me so I walked over and sat next to him.
“I’m surprised he didn’t wake you up. He crawled over to you and grabbed your jeans and pulled himself up. Then he slapped your leg and laughed about it.” Alex said and I looked at Jay who looked at me and smiled as he moved from and crawled in between my legs.
“I didn’t hear or feel a damn thing.” I said and Alex chuckled and Jay slapped my leg.
“Has anyone been in and said anything about Luna and your dad?” I asked and Alex shook his head.
“No, but it is like 6.30 in the morning. So they are probably busy.” Alex said sadly.
“Well I’ve got little man under control, why don’t you go and find someone and get some answers.” I said and Alex sighed.
“Okay, look after him for me.” Alex said quietly and he lent over and kissed me which I returned.
“Dada.” Jay said and Alex smiled at him and Jay reached out for Alex.
“I’ll take him, you keep an eye on Terri and the stuff.” Alex said as he stood up and picked Jay up and I got up and pulled Alex close to me.
“I love you.” I said quietly and Alex smiled and kissed him.
“I love you too.” Alex whispered and kissed me again and he walked off with Jay and I just watched him and sat back down again.

Alex came back as Terri woke up and he handed me Jay and he started to pace.
“Hold The Baby.” I said and handed Jay to Terri.
“What’s going on?” I asked softly and Alex looked at me.
“I need a cigarette.” Alex said and I nodded.
“You okay with the baby?” I asked Terri and she nodded.
“Just keep him entertained for 20 minutes.” Alex said and Terri nodded and we went outside.
“What did they say?” I asked as me and Alex started to smoke our cigarettes.
“Luna is fine, sore but she can come home tomorrow but dad. Dad is in a bad way Jack. I can’t lose him.” Alex said as some tears rolled down his cheeks and I reached my hand out and wiped the tears away and I pulled Alex into a hug which he returned and I felt him to get hold of my top and he hide his face in my shoulder.
“Your dad is a strong man Lex. He can get through this, he won’t leave you or Luna alone.” I said and Alex move slightly and looked at me.
“I’m scared Jack.” Alex whispered and I smiled softly at him and kissed him softly which Alex returned.
“I know your scared, baby I know this is hard for you but if anything does happen then you have me right beside you, just like how I was when your mum died.” I said and Alex nodded as he looked down.
I gently pulled Alex towards me and hugged him which Alex returned.
“We’ve got this, me and you against the world.” I whispered into Alex’s hair and he nodded and I felt him kiss the side of my neck.
“I need to go back to Jay.” Alex sniffed as he pulled back a little and looked at me.
I kissed Alex which he returned and he caught hold of my hand and we walked inside.

“So you guys met Terri then?” Luna asked as we visited her first before going to see Peter just so Alex can put something in his mind to rest.
“Yeah, she seems nice.” I said as I stood Jay up on my lap with him holding onto my fingers and I could feel Alex keeping a close eye on Jay.
“When did you two start seeing each other?” Alex asked and looked at Luna with a smile which Luna returned.
“We’ve been together for 2 months this weekend.” Luna said with a smile.
“Why didn’t you tell me?” Alex asked and Luna sighed loudly.
“Because you was busy with Jay, I know I can talk to you about anything Alex but I wanted to tell everyone about Terri myself.” Luna said and she looked at me for help.
“The way I came out was getting caught on my door step snogging the hot football player. I got busted big time.” I said and Alex chuckled.
“Anyway, You know Dad is going to be okay because I’m with him and I dropped the bombshell of having Jay as well. If he can cope with that then he can cope with you being with Terri.” Alex said and Jay started to get fussy and I looked at Alex.
“Don’t put him on the floor, don’t know how filthy it is.” Alex said.
“Then where can he go, he wants to get down but he can’t.” I said.
“Put him on the bed, I’m not covered in wires anymore and I could do with baby cuddles.” Luna said and I put Jay on the bed.
“Make sure he doesn’t full through the bed rails.” Alex said and I looked at him.
“I’m just saying.” Alex said and I moved and sat on his lap and Alex wrapped his arms round me.
“So, this Terri girl, tell us about her. All we know is that she’s very chatty and finds Jay cute. Oh and if she wasn’t gay and us being together then she wouldn’t a bit of both of us.” I said and Luna chuckled as Jay sat on her legs as I gave him a toy to play with.
“She’s actually older than me.” Luna said as she looked down.
“Gathered that since I spotted a tattoo on her so she’s either 18 or she’s the same age of Jack.” Alex said and I looked at Luna.
“She’s just turned 18. But she’s not a pervert if that’s what your thinking. She’s actually really sweet, kind and caring. She like to chat as well.” Luna said.
“As long as she doesn’t hurt you Luna, but if she does I’ll kill the bitch.” Alex said and I chuckled as I stood up and pulled Alex out of his seat and sat back down again where Alex sat himself on my lap.
“Lex, it’s fine. But thank you for that offer.” Luna said quietly and looked down.
“What’s the matter?” Alex asked and Luna shook her head.
“I’ll take little man with me to get some food and coffee for us and I’ll even feed him for you.” I said and Alex stood up and looked at me with a smile.
“Thanks Jack.” Alex said as I stood up and I pulled him close to me and kissed him.
“Guys please, PG here, there’s a baby in the room.” Luna said.
“He’s seen more than what you think.” I said and Luna pulled a face which made me chuckle and I got Jay and put him in his pushchair and I let Alex and Luna have a heart to heart while I sorted Jay out.

About an hour later I went back to Luna’s room and found Alex sat next to her on the bed with Luna cuddled into his side and they was both asleep which made me smile and I looked at Jay who was slowly nodding off as well.
I walked over to Alex and kissed his cheek which made Alex wake up and look at me.
“I didn’t mean to fall asleep.” Alex said quietly with his voice thick with sleep.
“It’s fine, I just thought that since Jay has fallen asleep we’ll go and see you dad if you like to do that.” I said and Alex smiled and nodded as he looked at Luna and he kissed the top of her head and the door opened and Terri walked in with a bag of goodies.
“She okay?” Terri asked as she walked over.
“Yeah she’s okay, had a mini breakdown earlier but it’s nothing I can’t handle.” Alex said as he slowly move from under Luna and once he was free he got up and stood next to me and he caught hold off my hand.
“You look after her for me. I don’t want her to have go back the same place she went to when we lost our mum. I’m trusting you too look after her for me.” Alex said and Terri smiled and walked over to us and she pulled Alex into a hug.
“That girl is my world and I’ll protect her from everything I can protect her from. I haven’t heard that story from her yet but I’ll never run from her. You can trust me.” Terri said quietly to Alex as he returned her hug and Terri looked at me and I smiled at her as she returned my smile.
“Let your Prince Charming look after you and I’ll look after my princess.” Terri said and Alex nodded as he let go off Terri and walked over to me and he hugged me from my side and I returned his hug and kissed the top of his head.
Alex let me go and caught hold of my hand and we put our other hand on the pushchair and we walked to see Alex’s Dad.

Alex’s Dad was still in ICU which made Alex worry even more as we walked on the ward and a nurse came over.
“I’m sorry, but little one can’t come with you.” The girl said in a Scottish accent.
“Why not?” Alex asked getting defensive over Jay.
“Just with all the wires around and the fact other families are here to sit quietly with their family and friends.” The girl said and I knew Alex was in no mood for this and would snap at the poor girl so I took over.
“But he’s asleep and he will be for about an hour, please my boyfriend just wants to know how his dad is getting on and he has nobody other than me to look after the baby and he wants me to be beside him and support him.” I said and the nurse sighed and knelt down and looked at Jay.
“Fine, he’s out for the count. But surely you Mum can’t look after him or something?” The girl asked and I looked at Alex who looked upset.
“My mum died 2 years ago. My dad, my boyfriend, my sister and my son are the only family I have.” Alex said quietly.
“His sister is also in hospital so he can ask her to do babysitting.” I said and the nurse looked at us.
“Okay, little man can come in but when he started to wake up I’ll ask you to leave.” The nurse said and Alex smiled.
“That’s fine, I can totally understand that and I don’t want him to see things like this anyway. I just wanted to see how my dad was doing as we wasn’t allowed to see him last night.” Alex said and the nurse smiled.
“What’s your dads name?” The nurse asked.
“Peter, Peter Gaskarth.” Alex said and the nurse looked at Alex.
“Okay, he’s in bed number 10, just be warned that he has loads of tubes round him and he’s still in a bad way at the moment.” The nurse said and Alex nodded and looked at me to ask this question I knew he was thinking.
“Could he die?” I asked and the nurse sighed.
“It’s touch and go. There’s a 50/50 chance he’ll pull through.” The nurse said.
“I need to know, the last time someone said that it was for my mum and they said she would get better, but guess what she didn’t she fucking died. So I need to know for certain that he is going to be okay.” Alex said seriously.
“I can only say things are still touch and go. I’m not making promises that he will get better because things can go wrong. But right now you Dad is stable and he is getting better slowly.” The nurse said and I looked at Alex.
“Babe, let’s go and see your dad, while little man is asleep.” I said and Alex nodded and we headed to where Alex’s Dad was.

We spent an hour with Alex’s Dad until Jay woke up and we decided that it was better for all 3 of us to go home.
Alex was busy giving Jay a bath and getting him ready for bed and I thought I would do something nice for Alex and hope to cheer him up.
“So that’s the baby asleep.” I heard Alex say as he walked in the sitting room but I was in the kitchen.
“Babe, where are you?” Alex asked and I heard him walk through the hallway and into the kitchen/dinning area.
“What you doing out here?” Alex asked as he walked over to where the wine rack was and looked for a bottle of wine.
“Well The last two days have been beyond stressful on you, so I thought I would do something romantic for you, so you can forget about what’s happened over the last few days for a while.” I said and looked at Alex, who was looking at me with a smile and a bottle of wine in his hand.
“You didn’t have to do that Jack.” Alex said softly and I walked over to him and kissed him hard which Alex returned.
“Yes I do.” I whispered as I rested my forehead against Alex’s.
“So What the plan of action then?” Alex asked as he wrapped his arms around my neck as I place my hands on his ass and pushed him closer to me.
“Well I’ll cook us something nice, enjoy this bottle of wine and then because we have the house to ourselves we can have sex anywhere we want without the worry of getting busted.” I said and Alex chuckled and kissed me.
“Sounds like a good plan to me. Although we do have sex where ever we to, even when we know we could get busted.” Alex said and I smiled and kissed his forehead.
“Open the bottle of wine, I’ve got food under control.” I said and slapped Alex’s ass which made Alex giggle and smirk at me as he let me go.
“Knew I was with you for a reason.” Alex said as he opened the bottle of wine and I was sorted food out for us.
“So It’s not for my money or good looks then?” I asked and Alex snorted as he walked over with a glass of wine of me.
“Please, your living with me, my dad and sister in a huge house and my mum was the CEO of that company so I have money. As for the looks, I consider that as a bonus.” Alex said and I chuckled.
“Let’s do it.” I said as I looked at Alex who looked at me really confused.
“Let do it Lex, found a apartment and move out. Like you said we have the money to do that and we can comfortably support ourselves and Jayden. Let’s take the next step in our relationship.” I said and Alex frowned.
“Christ don’t say your getting down on one knee now.” Alex said and I laughed.
“Nope, not yet. Your still young so no I’m not getting down on one knee yet.” I said and Alex smiled at me which I returned.
“So, moving out. What do you think. I understand that you don’t want to move out yet because I know you want to be close to your dad and Luna. But please say you’ll think about it.” I rambled and Alex chuckled and made me look at him and he kissed me which I returned.
“Yes I’ll think about it. But I won’t move out until I know dad and Luna are going to be okay. You have to understand that.” Alex said and I smiled widely and kissed Alex harder this time round.
“I understand.” I whispered and Alex smiled but he looked down.
“Hey what’s wrong.” I said and Alex looked back at me.
“I’m sorry I snapped at you, I shouldn’t of taken it out on you.” Alex said quietly.
“It’s fine, I understand why because you was worried about you dad and sister.” I said and Alex shook his head.
“But I shouldn’t of snapped at you Jack.” Alex said and I kissed him to shut him up and it worked as Alex just looked at me and he smiled.
“Now cook me something, I’m starving.” Alex said and I chuckled as I went back to sorting food out for us.

After I cooked I checked on Jay who was still fast asleep and I went back downstairs where Alex didn’t have his top on and he was cleaning up behind us.
“I was thinking, fuck cleaning up behind us and get over here.” I said and Alex chuckled as he turned round and looked at me.
“Oh you have to ask me a lot nicer than that, even you know that.” Alex said in a flirty way as he lent against the side.
“Do you want sex or are you being stubborn?” I asked and Alex chuckled.
“I want sex.” Alex said.
“Then come over here then.” I whined and Alex smiled and he walked over to me and kissed me.
“God your worse than Jay when he’s in a grump.” Alex chuckled as I went to kiss his neck but Alex moved away.
“I want to watch a film, I don’t know about you.” Alex said as he walked off and I groaned loudly as I followed him.
“What do I have to do to get sex these days?” I asked as I sat next to Alex who put a film on for us to watch and Alex looked at me and smirked.
“Seriously Lex, it’s been ages now.” I huffed and crossed my arms over my chest.
“Aw Babe.” Alex whispered in my ear which tickled and he nibbles on my ear.
“Someone feeling frustrated?” Alex whispered in my ear which again tickled.
“I blame that child of yours.” I said and Alex chuckled as he kissed my neck sucking on my neck and I bit my lip and Alex pulled back and looked at me with his eyes blown and full of lust.
“Did you give me a hickey?” I asked and Alex chuckled as he looked at my neck and pulled a face.
“Yeah I did leave one, I would say I’m sorry but I’m really not.” Alex said as he moved closer to me and he started to mess with my hair.
“Alexander what have I told you about that.” I said playfully and looked at Alex who smirked at me and I just kissed him.
“And What have I told you about calling me Alexander.” Alex giggled as I moved so Alex was now under me.
“I can’t seem to remember.” I murmured against Alex’s lips as I palmed Alex through his jeans.
“Don’t tease, just do it already.” Alex begged and I smirked at him because it never took much for Alex to start begging.
“All in good time.” I breathed against his lips.

Alex had passed out on the sofa and I was just about to fall asleep myself when Jayden started to cry through the monitor and I groaned loudly, but luckily Alex wasn’t on top of me so I snuck out from beside him and put some pants on and went upstairs to see what was wrong with Jay.
“Hey little man, what you doing up.” I said as I picked him up and he started to whimper against my shoulder.
“I know you probably want your daddy but he’s currently passed out on the sofa and too be honest so should I.” I said and kissed the side of Jays head.
“Hey, how about I put you back into your bed and I’ll go and get you daddy and bring him upstairs and put him to bed and if you’re not asleep by then you can get into bed with us.” I whispered and kissed the side of his head again and put him into his bed and covered him up and got his favorite teddy and put it beside him and I left the room and went downstairs for Alex.
I walked into the sitting room and Alex had rolled onto his back which made me sigh in relief and I walked over and wrapped Alex in the blanket and picked him up and went upstairs.

I quietly walked into our room and Jay had fallen asleep, which I was happy about because I really wanted cuddles tonight, and I put Alex down gently on the bed and I climbed over Alex which made him sigh loudly and he rolled over and draped an arm over my waist and I smiled to myself and I let myself fall asleep.
