I Guess I'll Go Home Now
Three
"Here we are." Alex said pulling into a driveway in front of a beautiful two story house.
"Wow, you live here by yourself?" I asked amazed.
"Um, not exactly. I live with one of my bandmates, Rian." He said shutting off the engine.
"Does he know I'm coming?" I really didn't want to impose on their lives.
"Yeah, and chill remember, no big deal."
I was slightly scared to be here because now I would be staying with two people from my favorite band. I followed Alex up the sidewalk and into the foyer of their house, where I was greeted by two balls of energy.
"Oh, I'm sorry. I forgot to mention that I had dogs. They don't bother you do they?" He asked.
"No, not at all. I love dogs. What are their names?" I asked squatting down to pet them.
"The brown and white one is Sebastion and the other one is Peyton."
"Cute names."
"Thanks, I thought they were pretty awesome names. Jack named Sebastian." He chuckled.
I laughed. I took a chance to look around at where I would be staying. All I heard was silence, it didn't seem like Rian was home.
"Where is Rian?" I asked. I couldn't help but be curious.
"He took Kara to the movies, he should be back any minute."
I nodded which turned into a yawn. I didn't realize how tired I had been. It must have been from all the crying earlier. I felt a little tug on my arm.
"Come one. Let me show you your new room." He said.
I nodded again. Alex held out my hand and smiled. This time i got major butterflies, I grabbed his hand and smiled back. I followed him up the stairs and down the hall. We stopped at a door and he opened it. The room was amazing. It had a balcony and white fluffy carpet. There was a queen size bed, the bedding was black and there was black and white pillows on it. It had a huge closet, a vanity mirror, and a complete walk in bathroom. I was completely amazed. My room at my house wasn't even like this. I couldn't even say anything, I was speechless. I hadn't even realized I was holding his hand still until I felt a light squeeze.
"So do you like it?" He asked.
"I love it!" I smiled.
"Good. Do you need anything right now?"
"Um, do you have a towel I can use to take a shower? A possibly something I could wear?" I asked, biting my lip.
"Yeah, I think we can scrounge up something for you. I'll get the towel first." He walked out of the room and was back seconds later with a big fluffy towel. "Here;s a towel for you to use. If you want to hop in the shower, I'll look for something for you to wear and I'll just leave it on the bed,"
"Okay, thank you so much Alex, For everything you've done. Most people wouldn't have offered to take in someone who ran away from home," I said giving him a hug which he returned.
"No problem Blake. Remember that you can stay as long as you like." He said before he released me,
When he walked out of the room, I shut the door behind him and made my way to the huge bathroom. I turned on the hot water, stripped my clothes off, and climbed into the shower. I stood under the running water and tried to realx. I decided that I wouldn't think about today anymore because it would just upset me more. As I went to wash my body, I noticed there wasn't any normal soap in the shower just Axe body wash. So I washed my body and air with it, needless to say I smelled like a man.
I turned off the water and reached out of the shower to grab the towel and wrapped it around my body. I quickly dried off and made my way into the bedroom to get changed. I wasn't paying attention to my surroundings and adjusted my towel that was falling down.
"Um..." someone cleared their throat from behind me. I quickly turned around and gasped. Alex was standing in the doorway with clothes for me. I felt me cheeks redden as he made his way into the room. I tightened my hold on the towle and moved away from him to the other side of the room.
"Um, the jeans are Kara's, you guys are about the same size." Alex said, not meeting my eyes which was fine by me because I wasn't looking at him anyway. I was way to embarrased.
"Does she mind if I wear them?" I asked
"No she gave them to me to give them to you."
"Oh, okay. Thanks." I smiled
"No problem. When you're finished getting ready Rian is downstairs and he wants to meet you." He smiled
"Okay, I'll be down in like five minutes."
"Okay."
Alex turned on his heels and walked out of the room, shutting the door behind him. I quickly changed into the clothes that Alex had laid out for me. As I was pulling the shirt he gave me over my head I realized that it was one of his. I smiled knowing that I was wearing one of his shirts. I towel dried my hair and ran my fingers through it in an attempt to style it some. Once I was satisfied with my look, I made my way downstairs. Walking down the stairs I heard multiple voices talking at once and I was courius. I thought it was Alex, Rian, and maybe Rian's girlfriend Kara.
As I was rounding the corner to the living room, I ran into someone.
"Damn Blake. Why do we keep meeting like this?" Alex asked as he steadied me.
"I have no idea, maybe you are always in my way." I countered.
"Did you use the body wash that was in that bathroom?"
"Um yeah it was all that was in there. You don't mind do you?"
"Not at all. I never thought Axe smelled more amazing." He smiled and I blushed.
"Come on there's people I want you to meet." He said, grabbing my hand again.
