I seriously could not believe it. Cassadee Pope was standing at the front door.

"Oh my god. Your Cassadee Pope!" I exclaimed

She laughed. "Yeah, I am. You must be Blake. Rian told me you'd be answering the door."

"Yeah I am. Sorry to seem like such a loser. I just really like your band." I said shyly.

"Nah, it's all good. I have a feeling I'll be around more often so you'll get used to me." She smiled.

I chuckled. "Sounds awesome. Rian's out back with Arabella and my best friend."

"Alright. Are you coming out soon?" She asked.

"Yeah, I'm just going to find Alex first." I said.

"Okay babe." She smiled.

She walked out back to go be with Rian. I was in shock still. This was going to take some getting used to.

I walked to the kitchen to go get my water, and saw that Zack and Jack were now outside. But there was no sign of Alex. I walked into the living room and found Alex putting away the Rock Band. A few minutes later he looked over and smiled.

I sat on the couch and waited. He came over to the couch, sat down and instantely pulled me into his lap.

"Blake, can I tell you a secret." He whispered.

"Yeah, you can tell me anything."

"Well, I like you, even though we only met a few days ago. And I was hoping you'd like me too, because I wanted you to be my girlfriend." He said quietly.

I was in shock for the second time tonight. Alex fucking Gaskarth just asked me to be his girlfriend. I had to tell him something. I couldn't just leave him hanging.

"Oh my God, of course." I blushed. I said that a little too quickly.

He chuckled. "Come on baby. Let's go outside."

He grabbed my hand and led me outside. When we walked out, we looked around. Rian and Cassadee were in the hot tub, getting pretty close to each other. Jack was fighting with Arabella in the pool. And way out in the middle of the backyard was Zack and Larisa, laying on a blanket by a bonfire, making out.

"Oh my God. Really Riss?!" I laughed.

Alex looked over at them and busted out laughing.

We walked over to them and I jumped on them, just to be a moment whore. Larisa looked at me and glared. I'm pretty sure I heard her mumble the word "bitch" as well. Zack just looked extremely embarassed. Alex was roaring with laughter. I put my hand out towards him and he helped me up, grabbing a blanket and putting it on the other side of the fire.

We laid on the blanket and just sat there looking at the stars.

"Blake, dance with me." He said looking at me.

"But there's no music. How are we gunna dance?"

"Just dance with me. Let me worry about the rest." He smiled while helping me up.

He twirled me around the yard and then gently placed my feet on top of his. I leaned my chin on his shoulder and listened to him sing the chorus of "Check Yes Juliet" by We The Kings in my ear.

"Run baby run

I smiled and lifted my chin off his shoulder. We looked at each other for a minute, before he slowly leaned in towards me. I closed my eyes and leaned toward him as well. Our warm lips connected, and I was finally living my dream with Alex Gaskarth. ‹ Chapter 10 Chapter 12 ›
