On my mind

Ollie's POV

"So that is how you get your girl." Alex said quickly after saying this fucking crazy idea about getting this girl I have a crush on who also happens to have a boyfriend.
"Alex, you need to slow down on what your saying because I can't understand you." I said and looked at Alex who was looking round the corridor.
"You seriously choose the wrong time to on a crazy trip to mania land buddy." I said and Alex slapped his hand over my mouth.
"Shush, their watching us. They have cameras around and their watching every little thing we're doing." Alex said quickly and still not making any sense.
I moved Alex's hand away from my mouth.
"Alex, listen to me okay. Look at me and focus on me for 2 minutes." I said and Alex shook his head and he walked off muttering something and talking to himself.
"Fuck sake Alexander." I said too myself as I went after him but I lost him somewhere.

I was still walking round school trying to find Alex but I wasn't having much luck.
I saw the boy who literally saw everything but never said anything, I swear he's seen more of Alex's la la moments than anyone else in this school.
"Hey you." I said as I walked to the boy and he jumped as he looked at me.
"Don't worry I'm not going to hurt you, I was wondering if you've seen Alex on your travels?" I said and the boy shrugged his shoulders.
"Come on dude this is important right now." I groaned.
"H..He was going towards the big field." The boy said and I smiled.
"How long ago was that?" I asked hoping it wasn't that long ago because then Alex wouldn't be doing something stupid.
"A...About half an hour ago." The boy said and I groaned because this meant Alex was definitely up to no good which was something I didn't want.
"Fuck sake, cheers buddy." I said and walked off to the big field.

Sure enough I got there and Alex was stripped naked talking to himself.
"Seriously Alex. Christ I need to start getting paid for the shit I have to put up with." I said to myself as I shook my head and walked towards him.
"Alex, where the hell are your clothes? You can't walk around bollock naked buddy." I said and Alex looked at me and he was saying something but he was talking to quickly for me to understand what he was saying to me.
I looked at the time and realized second lesson was going to start and that was when sports started.
"Alex, I need you to get dressed now buddy." I said and looked round and saw his clothes on the floor.
"No, no clothes. Makes me itch." Alex muttered quickly and I sighed loudly seriously not knowing what to do right now.
"Do your pants make you itch?" I asked and Alex starched the back of his neck and he sat on the floor looking like he was going through a list as he was counting something on his fingers.
I walked over and knelt in front of him.
"Alex, Alex I need you to listen to me okay. Does having your pants in make you itch?" I said softly hoping this might work but knowing Alex it probably won't work.
"Get the fuck away from me you cunt!" Alex spat and kicked me.
"Hey. Do not kick me, your bloody lucky I'm your best friend and know what your like. Also I'm not going anywhere until you at least put your bloody pants on." I said and Alex glared at me and then spat at me.
"Seriously Alex, don't kick, hit or spit at me buddy." I said seriously and Alex pulled his knees up and hugged his knees.
"You going to put your pants on?" I asked and Alex shook his head.
"Makes me itch." Alex said quietly.
"Okay buddy, you going to be okay while I go and tell a teacher about this?" I said and Alex shook his head and looked st me.
"Don't tell. Please don't tell them." Alex said quickly and I sighed.
"If I sit down your not going to kick me are you?" I asked calmly and Alex shook his head but I knew it could change in a matter of seconds.
But I sat down next to him anyway not really caring if he hurt me because he has done it in the past and I knew the non mania Alex wouldn't hurt anyone and I knew he felt really bad and guilty after I told him what happened during his mania episodes.
"Alex I need to tell someone. I know you normally have control over this but today you haven't, Christ Alex your losing your fucking head right now." I said and Alex looked at me.
"I don't want to go back there. They give me something to stop everything rushing around. They treat me like I'm stupid and don't know how to look after myself." Alex said quickly and kicked out at the ground and I knew he was frustrated.
"Lex, I know you don't want to go back..." I started and I saw the sports class heading towards us.
"Alex mate, please put your pants on. Because if you don't you are going to be the laughing stock for a very long time and I don't want that to you because you don't need that." I said hoping this would sink in just a little.
"But they make me itch." Alex spat.
"So you have been saying but you need to have you dick and balls cover because not everyone wants to see that." I said and Alex sighed in frustration.
"Here they are. All I want you to do is put your pants on and you don't have to put anything else on." I said softly and handed Alex his pants which he took and he put them on which made me smile because it meant I have succeeded in something today.
"Hey, do you want to go back to mine and you can be naked and you can go crazy if you want." I said and Alex nodded and I smiled.
"But it means you have to put the clothes on." I said and Alex looked at me.
"Do I have to put the clothes on?" Alex asked and I rolled my eyes.
"Yes you do because then you won't look like you've just escaped from the bloody hospital." I said and Alex groaned but he put his hand out and I put his clothes in his hands.
"That's it." I said softly and Alex got himself dressed and he stood up.
"What about your shoes?" I asked knowing Alex won't wear them because he never does when he is maniac but he does surprise me sometimes.
"No, feel trapped with them on." Alex said and picked his shoes up.
"Hey if you carry them you aren't to throw them at anyone." I said seriously and Alex looked at me and he had this look in his eye.
"Want me to carry them for you?" I asked and put my hand out and Alex huffed and put his shoes in my hand and he walked off and I looked down and saw he didn't have his bag so I picked his bag up and followed him keeping a close eye on him.

I managed to get Alex back to mine and he was currently in my room drinking after I thought I hid all the alcohol but Alex still managed to find one and he was pacing round my room talking to himself.
I had to keep a close eye on him but I also had to phone his step mum and tell her what is happening and ask her to drop some pills off for Alex since he used the last lot a couple of days ago and he said he was going to go home and bring some round since he spent more time round mine than at his home but I'm guessing the little bugger didn't do that hence why he's gone to la la land.
I got my phone and called Mia up hoping she would answer while I kept an eye on Alex.
"Hey Ollie." Mia said happily.
"Hey Mia, can I be a mega pain in the ass right now?" I said and Mia chuckled.
"Aren't you always one?" Mia said and I smiled.
"Yeah but I have Alex here and he's gone to la la land right now and he has none of his meds here after saying he was going to go home and get some because he had ran out here." I said and I could hear Mia rolling her eyes.
"He seriously does not help himself. Okay I'll be round in an hour and drop off his meds." Mia said and I smiled.
"Thanks Mia. Do we have the same arrangement as normal?" I asked.
"Yeah we do. Just keep an eye on him and when he hits rock bottom just give me a call and I'll get him." Mia said and I smiled again.
"Thanks Mia." I said quietly and hung up.
I looked up and Alex had yet again stripped bollack naked.
"Christ Alex, I seriously don't need to see your dick twice in one day." I said but Alex ignored me.

Mia had come round and dropped off some medication for Alex.
"Alex buddy, have something to eat for me and have you medication." I said as I sat on the floor with Alex.
"Not hungry and I don't need my meds." Alex said quickly.
"You haven't eaten all day today and I'm guessing you didn't eat yesterday so you need something to eat. I need you too take your meds because you need to come down from your mania episode." I said and Alex looked at me.
"I need to think straight, pills don't make me think straight." Alex said.
"Alex you need the pills to think straight, because you make no sense to anyone, not even me and I have known you for a really long time Lex." I said and Alex looked down.
I knew that Alex knew that once he's been mania he was going to literally hit rock bottom and i knew he didn't like hitting rock bottom which is why he would avoid taking his medication as much as possible.
"Hey, if it makes you feel any better I'll be right beside you when you hit rock bottom okay, and I won't leave your side until your better and back to my normal thinking Alex." I said and Alex looked at me.
"Promise?" Alex asked quietly.
"I promise buddy." I said and Alex smiled a little and he looked at the pill which was in my hand.
Alex sighed and he took the pill and put it in his mouth and washed it down with water.
"Have something to eat yeah, you'll feel better." I said softly and pushed the plate towards Alex and picked the sand which up and he only had a couple of mouthfuls before he put it down and pushed the plate back towards me.
"Come on Lex, it's late and I don't know about you but I'm bushed." I said and Alex shook his head.
"I'm not tired." Alex said and I looked at what he was doing and it was our history homework.
"You going to be okay while I have some sleep and you finish your homework then?" I asked and Alex nodded and he started to do his homework.
I sighed and stood up and sat on my bed and watched Alex until I fell asleep.
But it wasn't before I felt Alex pick me up and him tucking me into bed and kissing the top of my head.
