The Lion and The Lamb

Jack's POV

It was the weekend and normally I'd be at work nursing a hangover but because my boss was away and normally it was just me and my boss since the weekends wasn't very busy but my boss was away for the weekend so he hasn't given me the weekend off.

I was dying outside from my hangover and I was smoking a cigarette when I saw Alex walking in from the house and he looked over and he said something to his dad and he gingerly walked over.
"C..C..Can I s..s..sit down?" Alex stuttered which was really cute.
Hold the fuck up, I never thought anyone was cute. I only had hook ups as I don't do relationships as I more fuck everything up.
"Sure you can. Hope you don't mind me smoking." I said and Alex shook his head and pulled a packet of cigarettes.
"I..I..I s..smoke as well." Alex said quietly.
"Never thought the golden boy of what you are would smoke." I said and Alex looked at me and he had a bruise on the side of his head.
"Who said I was a golden boy?" Alex said without stuttering which made me smile.
"Maybe the way you literally have A* in every subject." I said.
"J..Just because I..I have g..good grades, doesn't m..mean I'm a s..straight edge." Alex said and looked down and smoked his cigarette which was quite sexy in my eyes.
"Okay, to prove to me your not a straight edge, there's a party and I am inviting you to come along with me." I said and Alex looked at me.
"I would love too but I..I..I can't." Alex said and looked like he was just about to get up but I reached over and put my hand on his knee.
"How come? It's not that bad, all you have to do is drink and get wasted." I said.
"I..If you haven't guessed already, I have anxiety and me and parties don't mix." Alex said and looked away from me.
"That's why we have pre drinks. You chill right out right before we get there." I said and Alex sighed and shook his head.
"I'll pass thanks. T..Thank you for y..yesterday and I'll s..see you around." Alex said and got up and walked over to his house.
I had to check him out and to be honest he looked pretty hot from where I was sitting.
