Night Drives

Alex's POV

The last month has been hard on Jack.
I was really proud of him though and I knew he wouldn't of been able to do this with me and the family.
The funeral was hard for Jack but I was the beside him and him literally holding onto my hand for dear life.


"Alex you are a life saver right now." Mum said and kissed the side of my had as she walked past.
"Ethan!" Mum said loudly since Ethan has a appointment at the hospitable about his epilepsy.
Ethan came running down the stairs and pulled his shoes on and mum and Ethan was gone.
"Your mother left me and you in charge then?" Dad asked.
"Yep. And your taking everyone to school as I'm staying home to look after the little ones and drag Jack out of bed." I said and looked down.
"How is old Jacko these days, hardly see him anymore." Dad said.
"I'm worried about him dad, he's becoming like me. Yeah I understand he is sill grieving his nan and he might not get over that but I can't have him like me." I said and Dad put his hand on my arm and I moved it away and smiled and small smile at dad.
"He'll get through his because he has you by his side. You'll do everything you can to make sure he doesn't go down the same road as you." Dad said and I nodded.
"We have the everyone up, fed and off to school." I said and walked off and banged on door to get people up.
I got to my room and opened the door and saw that Jack was sound asleep snoring quietly so I decided to let him sleep a little bit longer.
Everyone who went to school was at school so I was looking after Emily and Kit.
"Right you two going to be okay if I go upstairs and get Jack up?" I asked and they both nodded their eyes glued to the tv like normal when I look after them because I am too busy to actually do much with them.
"Give me a shout or come upstairs okay." I said and went upstairs to Jack.

I walked in and sat on Jacks side of the bed and started to mess with his hair.
"Babe, wake up." I said and Jack grumbled and opened one eye and glared at me.
"What?" Jack asked sleepily.
"You going to come downstairs with me and help look after Kit and Emily?" I asked and Jack sighed and rolled onto his back which made me fall on his chest since I was leaning on him.
"Want to stay in bed." Jack mumbled.
"Babe you haven't been out of bed for nearly a month now. Come down and have something to eat and have sit with Kit and Emily and then when the others come back have a couple of joints together." I said and Jack looked at me.
"I've missed you." I said and kissed the end of his nose.
"I'll be downstairs if you want to join me." I said quietly and went to get up but Jack pulled me on top of him.
"I have a 5 year old and a 3 year old downstairs. I need to keep an eye on them and clean the kitchen." I said and Jack just kissed me softly.
"I'll have a shower and come downstairs." Jack said and I smiled and kissed him a little harder.
"See you in half an hour." I said and gave Jack a small peck on the lips and walked out the room.

Everyone was home so me and Jack was sat in the hammock smoking a joint between us.
I was sat between Jacks legs with my head to the side as Jack kissed and nipped my neck which was making me moan quietly.
"Would say we could have sex here but the kids windows are looking over this." I said.
"Well that's shit." Jack said against my neck and I passed him the joint.
"But later we can, right now I'm enjoying this joint and having cuddles." I said and Jack hummed in agreement.
