Jack’s POV

”Baby wake up, we need to talk weddings.” I said as I crawled onto the bed and sat on Alex who was still hiding under the covers.
”Lets go to city hall and get married.” Alex muttered and I pulled the covers away from his face and he looked rough but that’s what he gets when he got blackout drunk.
”We’re not going to city hall.” I said and Alex sighed.
”Even if I said I would drag my hungover ass out of bed and go to city hall right now and we could get married you still wouldn’t go?” Alex asked.
”If it was right now with no plans then I would. But if I wasn’t to invite my family to our wedding I don’t think neither of my parents would forgive me.” I said and Alex sighed.
”I’ve told you I don’t want nothing big wedding.” Alex said and he sat up and groaned loudly as he rested his head on my shoulder.
”Fuck my head.” Alex said and I chuckled.
”Shouldn’t drink so much then.” I said and Alex weakly slapped my chest.
”Shush you, now get off me because I need to pee, badly.” Alex said and I got off him and Alex moved as quickly as he could to the bathroom.

”Look all I’m saying is that we can go to city hall just us two get married have a quick fuck and then we can go and have a nice meal with your family and Quinn and Beth, then we can come back here or something and just party and then we can come home and have more sex. There my hungover tired ass has literally planned this wedding out.” Alex said as we was sat outside at a park since it was a nice day.
”It needs to be a bit more romantic than that.” I said.
”All we need to is literally say the vows, say that we will stay committed to each other for ever and kiss and that is literally the wedding part. The rest is having everyone enjoying the party which we technically paid for and then having the wildest sex of our lives. That is literally a wedding Jack.” Alex said.
”This is literally going to be my first and only marriage Alex. I want us to remember the day as the best day of our lives.” I said and Alex rested his head on my shoulder.
”It’s the same here Jack, but I don’t want a big fuss.” Alex said.
”I don’t want one either, but we could do the city hall idea. Then we could just invite everyone round and we could all just catch up and that. Not as if our place can’t fit everyone in because it can.” I said and Alex smiled and kissed me with his stubble tickling my face which made me chuckle.
”What?” Alex asked as he pulled back.
”Your stubble was tickling me.” I said and Alex smiled and put his hand up to his face and ran his hand over his stubble.
”The question is, to keep it or not to keep it?” Alex asked and looked at me.
”Keep it, you look hotter with it.” I smirked and Alex chuckled.
”Well for you I’ll keep it.” Alex said quietly and kissed me again.

We was walking down a street hand in hand happily when Alex looked up and he just froze.
”Babe what’s the matter?” I asked and looked where Alex was looking.
”It’s my parents, I haven’t seen them since I was 16.” Alex said quietly and he looked at me.
”Do you want to turn round or do you want to carry on walking?” I asked and Alex smiled.
”Keep walking, hopefully they’ll notice us and see that I’ve done well in my life and they can see how incredibly handsome you are and they will never be part of our lives.” Alex said and I smiled at him and we carried on walking past them.
I noticed the woman looking up.
”Alexander.” I heard her say and Alex looking in her direction as we come to a stop.
”Yes?” Alex said confused playing the dumb card.
”Alexander is that really you?” The woman said and stepped towards us.
”I’m sorry but who are you?” Alex asked.
”Alexander it’s me, it’s your mother.” The woman said as she looked at Alex and then looked at me.
”Funny the woman who was meant to be my mother threw me out on the streets when I was 16 and I’ve been dead to her ever since.” Alex said and the woman was a bit taken back by that.
”Alexander, that’s not true.” The woman said and stepped forward and was too close for my liking.
”Stay back.” I growled and the woman looked at me but she soon went back to ignoring me.
”If it was fucking true because if you actually cared about me you would of come looking for me instead of just leaving me on the streets vulnerable to everyone.” Alex said seriously.
“I was going to But your father stopped me. I wanted you home and I was hoping you would of come home but you never did.” The woman said.
”I was looking for you Alexander but you stayed hidden from everyone who was looking for you, we had no idea where you was. After a while we just thought you was dead.” The woman said.
”Bull fucking shit, do you want to know why it was bullshit because when nan was dying you told me that I was dead to everyone in the family, even my husband can be a witness for that. Also you told me that once I walked out that front door I was never welcomed back.” Alex said.
”I was only saying that because your father was there.” The woman said and Alex stepped closer to her and looked at her while still holding my hand.
”No, you was saying that because you was on drugs and you are still on drugs. I know Isobel and right now I know you are fucked out your face.” Alex said and stepped back.
”Alexander please, I want you back into my life. I’ve missed so much and I want my son back.” The woman said and Alex shook his head.
”You are never setting a single toe back into my life. I have my family now and it doesn’t involve you. Now here’s me telling you that you are dead to me and if you ever see me in the streets you are not allowed to come anywhere near me and it is the same for my husband.” Alex said and with that we walked off and I quickly looked behind me and the woman was just stood there stunned but we kept on walking.

I was playing a game on the Xbox shouting in Arabic when I died in the game.
”Christ why is it so attractive when you speak Arabic?” Alex chuckled as he looked at me from the floor since he was playing the guitar.
”Because I am attractive.” I said and then swore in Arabic.
”Babe, chill it’s just a game.” Alex chuckled and went back to what he was doing.
Alex knew that playing on the Xbox normally resulted in me shouting at the tv in Arabic and I normally spoke Arabic when I’m having shit day at work or having a tantrum.
I shouted at the tv again and decided it was better if I put the remote down before I threw it at the tv and break the tv.
I looked at Alex who looked up at me and smiled which I returned.
I was also toying with the idea of speaking about his mother or not.
”You sure you don’t want your mother in your life?” I asked and Alex frowned at me and he stood up and walked over to the sofa and sat on it and putting his feet up on my lap.
”I’m sure I don’t want the crack whore in my life. Babe she threw me out when I need her, yes I was out of control but she never really cared. She is never fit to be a mother.” Alex said and looked down.
”You know when she said that she looked for me?” Alex said quietly and looked at me and I nodded hoping he would carry on.
”She never looked for me, Yeah the first week she looked for me after I didn’t return for my normal 2 week bender but after that she gave up. I got more lost on the streets and fell further into my addition, eating disorder and wanted to kill myself.” Alex said and looked down.
”When I almost died in hospital the first time, Quinn even went round her house and told her I could be dying and she never came. She just hoped that I died and then she would never have to think about me again.” Alex said and I moved and sat on him and kissed him which he returned.
”So I don’t want her in my life, I am finally happy in my life. I fell like I’ve found peace with myself for the first time in a really long time. I have you, Quinn, Beth and Hank you guys are my family now and I never want to throw that away. So no I don’t want her in my life not when I have my happy ever after.” Alex said and I smiled at him and kissed him which Alex returned
”Too the future?” I asked and Alex smiled.
”Too the future.” Alex said quietly and we both settled down for the evening and watched crap on tv.

Notes

Think there’s only one more chapter left before the story is finished.

I don't think so! It's well written, nothing much happens but it doesn't have to be super dramatic all the time. I like it :)

so I have no idea if you will understand this (since you have dyslexia and all that), but I would like to suggest that you should have a beta to proof read your stories. Because trust me, I think almost all of your plotlines are really creative and good, but since some people aren't aware that you have dyslexia they'd probably assumed you're not that good at writing and stuff. I'm a grammar nazi myself, but since I know about your condition I can bear with it, while other people can't.

I salute you though, you don't let your condition stop you from writing so... keep it up!

You just need a beta to make your stories greater than they already are.
