Alex's POV

Mr and Jack have been back from the states for a week now and I was finally feeling happy again after feeling like shit while being in the states and with Jacks family.
I also finally got my birthday present from Jack, which was a brown and white Bulldog which I called Hank.

I was sat on the sofa messing around with Hank since Jack was at work and I was on my own like normal.
"Your wrinkles are so cute." I said to Hank as he just crashed on the sofa which made me chuckle.
I was thinking about have a nap as well when my phone went off.
I looked at saw it was Quinn so I answered it.
"What's up bitch tits?" I asked and Quinn didn't chuckle like she normally does which means something was up.
"Alex your nan is in hospital." She said carefully since I was close to my nan and still was until my parents found out nan was still seeing me.
"How do you know that?" I asked since I have nothing to do with my family.
"Okay, so I did some stalking like normal so your up to date with the family your no longer apart of gossip and I found that your brother put something up wanting people to pray for your nan." Quinn said.
"Christ woman you should be a detective." I chuckled softly.
"I know, do you want me to look after Hank for you?" Quinn asked.
"Please. I'll drop him off." I said and got up and grabbed Jack jacket which I had stolen from him since it was warm and smelt like him.
"Do you want me to call Jack?" Quinn asked.
"No, if I get kicked out which I'll probably will do then I'll call him because it probably means I have to tell him about the whole of my disgusting past." I said and picked Hank up and made my way to Quinns.
"Why would they do that. She's your nan." Quinn said as I walked to hers.
"Because my family are a bunch of cunts who hates me." I said as I got to her door and knocked on her door.
Quinn answered the door and I gave her Hank.
"Look after until tomorrow and then I'll pick him up." I said and made a fuss of Hank which made me smile a little.
"Hope everything is okay with your nan." Quinn said quietly.
"So do I." I said and walked off to the hospital.

I got to the hospital and asked where my nan was and the person behind the desk told me and I walked off putting my hood up as I walked to the room.
I got to nans room and sure enough my family was there.
"Well isn't this sweet." I said as I walked in the room and walked over to nan and kissed her forehead since she was in some sort of coma.
"What you doing here Alexander. We don't want you here." My mother said seriously which made me look away from nan and look at my so called mother said while glaring at me.
"I'm here too see my nan. Since she wasn't the one who gave up on me like the rest of you cunts." I said.
"We don't want you here. Family only and your not family so out." My so called brother said.
"And you can all get fucked, you have had the last 9 years with her while you pushed me out. Now its my time to spend with MY nan." I growled.
"You need to get out of here Alexander." My so called dad said.
"And what are you going to do? Kick me out? You've already done that. You've done everything part from love me." I said and looked back at nan.
"Alexander..." Mother started but I looked at her.
"My nan is dying. I want to be with her and say my goodbyes. After that I'm dead to you." I said trying not to shout.
"And we don't want you here. You need to leave and never come back." My dad said.
I took a deep breath and kissed my nans forehead again and whispered something in her ear and barged my way out the room.
I went straight home and went looking for this box which meant everything to me.

I was sat on the bed looking through memories when Jack came home.
"Alex?" Jack called through the apartment and I sniffed before I repsoned but Jack must of guessed I was in our room.
"How's your day been?" Jack asked and he looked at me and got his answer.
"Babe what wrong?" Jack asked and climbed onto the bed and pulled me into his lap and kissed the top of my head.
"My nan is on her death bed and nobody would let spend time with her." I said and felt myself begin to cry again.
"Lex I'm sorry." Jack whispered into my hair and began to rock himself side to side which I found strangely comforting.
"They wouldn't even let me sit with her on my own for 5 minutes." I said.
"Well later on we'll go and break into the hospital and you can see her." Jack said which made me chuckle and smile.
I pulled back and looked at him.
"Trust you to say that." I sniffed and Jack wiped the tears which had fallen and kissed me softly.
"Have a nap you look bushed." Jack said quietly.
"Stay with me." I said and I left Jack move backwards and I got myself comfy on his chest.
I fell asleep to Jack tracing patterns on my back.

I don't think so! It's well written, nothing much happens but it doesn't have to be super dramatic all the time. I like it :)

Hey lovely, seems like your stories reflect how you feel. You are definitely not wasting your time if it helps you to express yourself and be assured there are a lot of silent readers out there that enjoy your writing. Stay strong!

I adore your stories. They are always so creative. I have been seeing marked improvement in your writing. Keep chugging along my dear. I will read what you write. Keep doing the best you can.

so I have no idea if you will understand this (since you have dyslexia and all that), but I would like to suggest that you should have a beta to proof read your stories. Because trust me, I think almost all of your plotlines are really creative and good, but since some people aren't aware that you have dyslexia they'd probably assumed you're not that good at writing and stuff. I'm a grammar nazi myself, but since I know about your condition I can bear with it, while other people can't.

I salute you though, you don't let your condition stop you from writing so... keep it up!

You just need a beta to make your stories greater than they already are.
