I told Jack to head out with Nate and Tom for a guys day to make sure their tuxes fit. Gown was kept under lock and key at my parents house, waiting for the big day to come. We had planned out the date already and got the RSVPs back. We were just pulling everything together last minute, just trying to get ready for this huge day to come.
My dad was over to spend time with me and Izzy while picking out the songs for the dances at the reception. Izzy was getting so big now. She was making more sounds like "ah" for Jack, "Mm," for me, and "ga" for Dad and Uncle Jack. She was so amusing and soon she'll be walking and driving me crazy as I chase her around the house.
"Ga," Izzy cooed while Dad played peek-a-boo with her while I grabbed him a glass of water and a bottle of juice for Izzy.
"That's right Izzy," Dad cooed back to her.
"Dad set her down by the coffee table, she has a little trick to show you," I told him.
Dad put Izzy where I told him and Izzy stood up and grabbed the edge of the table. She stayed there for a moment to right herself. She saw that we were at the other end of the coffee table and started to cruise along the edge of it to get to us.
"Mm," Izzy giggled as she tapped my knee with one hand while she held onto the table with the other.
"That's mommy's good girl," I cooed as I lifted her into my lap.
"Before long she'll be having you chasing her around the house," Dad chuckled as he moved some of Izzy's hair out of her face.
"Don't remind me. I saw the home movies Mom made of Tom and I chasing each other as she chased us," I told him, "I don't want her to grown up, Daddy. I want her like this every time I come home from tour or the studio."
"I know it's hard, but you'll have to face it like I did with you and your siblings," he replied, "It never gets easier, but coming home feels better every time."

Jack came back while I was flipping through the All Time Low catalog for a song to dance to with my dad for the Father/Daughter dance. I was tied between No Idea and A Daydream Away.
"Hey babe," Jack greeted me, wrapping his arms around my waist and kissing my cheek while I cued up the stereo to play Dirty Work.
"How was your tux fitting," I asked him.
"Good," he replied, "How was bonding time with your dad?"
"Good. He's still here since I still need to pick out a song," I told him.
"Did you show him what Izzy was doing now," he asked.
"I did. He's proud of her and knows we'll have a lot of fun chasing her around the house once she walks on her own," I told him.
"It'll be well worth it," he replied.
"Jack, give me my daughter. I need to see if we can slow dance to No Idea," my dad joked as he pulled me away from Jack.
"By all means, Alex. I'll just dance with my daughter," Jack replied as he scooped up Izzy.
I danced with my dad for both songs and picked No Idea for my dance with him and A Daydream Away for my first dance with Jack. My dad left once the picks were made and left to meet with Danny to give him the playlist for the opening dances. After he left, I plopped down on the couch while Jack put Izzy in her swing before joining me on the couch.
"Can you believe it, we'll be getting married soon," Jack gushed in my ear.
"Yeah and then a little after that we'll have Izzy turning a year old," I replied.
"I love you, Stella. I am so happy to spend the rest of my life with you and Izzy," Jack kissed my cheek and neck before my lips.
"I wouldn't want another man in my life but you, my dad, and any sons we may have in the future," I replied before kissing him again.
I can't wait for my big day, I was ready to be Jack's wife and make our family more concrete than it is now.
