Fifteen
After a long wait, I was finally no longer a virgin and I gave myself to my loving boyfriend. I showed him my soul and he treated it kindly. Tom helped us out by getting me the morning after pill to make sure that I wouldn't get pregnant due to Jack's lack of wearing a condom. What made everything better was that my parents know nothing and neither does Jack's dad.
"Some one is rather happy today," my dad smirked when he found me prancing around with a huge smil eon my face while we were getting ready for sound check.
"Am I not allowed to be happy for a change," I asked. I acted really bitchy yesterday for the cover, but I was known for mood swings on my periods so I pulled this euphoria off without a problem.
"I'm just glad you feel better today," he replied as he helped me get hooked up with my guitar.
"Me too, Dad," I smiled and started tuning my guitar.
Doors had just opened and all five of us kids were together doing our pre-show huddle. I was wedged between Tom and Jack. I was still walking on cloud nine from last night. Nothing was going to bring me down from my high.
"Alright so tonight we have to make this show kick ass. Make it better than any show before," Tom cheered.
"Show the crowd how the ATL kids party," I added.
"Never forget to keep the joke flowing between songs," Jack added after me.
"And never let a slip up stop the show," Nate cheered.
"And have loads of fun," Aubree finished.
"1...2...3...Sirens," we all cheered as we broke our huddle.
After the first 2 songs of our set, I got to lead a segway between songs.
"How's it going LA," I asked the crowd. I earned a roar from the crowd.
"That's good. so are you excited for the main event tonight," I asked them, making them cheer again.
"Stella, you have to know they'll cheer because it's our dads' they came to see, we're just a bonus," Jack said into his mic.
"Give it up to All Time Low," I told the crowd, "Becuase without those four men, none of would be here. It was a collab effort with them and our moms. Serenading Sirens would be nothing without them."
"Alright, let's get to our next song, Stell," Nate spoke up.
"How many of you remember the All Time Low album Don't Panic," I asked, earning a huge roar.
"This next song is our cover of one of the songs on that album. It's called Reckless and the Brave and I want you to sing it with me at the top of your lungs."
When the show was finally over, I was already showered and so was Jack and Aubree. Nate was just finishing up. Jack and I were side stage, watching as our dads said good night to the crowd. In a couple years, I knew that would be the four of us.
"We'll get our chance to do that one day and I'm not going to rush for it," I told Jack.
"I won't rush it either," he replied as he enveloped me in his arms from behind. My dad saw it, but he only smiled at seeing me and Jack like that. He had to be thinking about when did it with my mom back before Tom and I were born.
"Jack, when we can have our own place, I want to stay close to our parents," I told him.
"I was about to ask the same thing. I don't think I could ever leave our neighborhood or even the Baltimore area in general," he replied.
I might be growing up and making a name for myself, but I never want to lose my connection to my parents. My dad is my hero and he always knows the best things to say. We may but heads, but I wouldn't ask for us to act any other way. I love him so much, but he needs to know that Jack is big part of my lfie too like he and Tom are. I'll always be his little girl, but I'm also his up and coming rock star daughter and I need to set free.
