Long Live Us

One

The summer on Warped Tour was amazing. I got to play with my friends in Of Mice & Men during the tour. Thankfully they didn't recruit me to be their permenant addition since they knew I was in Sirens and that I was also in Baltimore and they were in California.
School's started up again. Tom and I are sophmores and Jack and Aubree are juniors. I knew Aubree was stressing out since she was working so hard on her studies. I was too; I opted for AP literature and AP French, both were kicking my ass. But I had Aubree in Lit and Jack in French so I had study buddies I could go to for help. Plus when Dad was home he helped out too.
But the biggest thing was that Sirens had two record deals already offered. Pete honored his offer and had sent Tom the paper for the deal with Decaydance. But while on Warped, our dad's manager, Keith, made a deal for us at Hopeless. So now we were currently focusing on school and deciding which deal to take. Dad and Matt were disceting them, checking to see which offer was best for us. I knew I wanted to be a Hopeless artist since I could pick up a guitar and hold a tune as I sang along with it. I was eight when I could do that.
So right now, Jack, Aubree, Tom, and I were in my room doing our homework. Tom was working on his geometry homework while Jack and I were working on French homework. Aubree was bustin her butt on her AP Chemistry homework. We were pulled from our homework when my mom came up to the doorway to my room.
"How's the homework going," she asked.
"Hard," I replied, speaking for myself, Aubree, and Jack.
"Moderate," Tom threw in for his homework.
"Well, your dad called. He and Matt found out the perfect deal to go with," she started to explain.
"What deal did he find was the best, Mom," I asked her.
"The Hopeless deal was better. They would have you on the label for four albums and they'd pay for tutors so you all can finish school on the road and graduate with high school degrees not GEDs. Plus they'd have you start touring as an opener for All Time Low in the States to get started," Mom explained.
"Oh my god, this is amazing," I screamed.
"Does my dad or Nate's or even Jack's know about this," Aubree asked.
"They do. They've talked it over together and feel that it's time for you guys to take this chance. They feel you are all ready," Mom replied.
"Are we going right into studio when we ink the deal," Jack asked.
"Yes, you will record an EP of all the songs Stella can gather from her collection of lyrics that would be best to put out for fans to get a taste what's to come. You're also getting a special co-producer," Mom replied.
"Who," Tom asked.
"Your father is going to be the co-producer helping out with Mike Green who did a couple of your father's albums," she replied.
Holy shit, this is really happening. Serenading Sirens is going to be a Hopeless band. Please tell me this is not a dream.

Notes

The kids have done. They've go their deal. Now can they handle juggling school and their career at the same time?
