Update on life :)
A random life update from this story's author:
Just a quick check in. A lot has happened since I updated. Rian and Cass FINALLY got engaged, which when I found out about it, I literally screamed with happiness. It's about damn time, am I right?
I saw Twenty One Pilots live for the first time, which was amazing. The venue gave me and the friend I went with a 20 row seat upgrade, so there were moments where I made eye contact with Tyler and Josh :P. To think, the next day they won a grammy in their underwear. God, I love those guys (maybe just as much as our boys in ATL)
Then All Time Low released "Dirty Laundry" AND announced they switched labels again. I have mixed feelings over this, considering how the last time went. But, they're older and wiser so I'm hoping that this time will go better. Also FBR has a waaaaay better track record than Interscope lol.
Finally All Time Low announced their new record and a tour. The second I saw it, I freaked out, as it's been TWO years since I saw them last. I know there are those of you who've never seen them period, in which case my last sentence probably seems more like bragging but I promise I don't mean it like that. It's just...such a rush seeing them. They're talented musicians, funny guys and all around genuinely nice people. Why wouldn't I get excited about that?
Then, I looked at the tour dates.
In case you all didn't know, I live in California. Northern California, to be a bit more precise. And anyone who's a music lover who lives past San Francisco is kinda, shall I say, screwed over most tours. The last couple ATL tours, for example, I drove to San Jose to see them. So when this tour was announced, I expected at least a San Jose tour date.
But no. Not this time. The closest place they'll be going is Oakland and I love the boys but Oakland is not gonna happen for me.
I saw they had a show planned for L.A. and Anaheim, both places being farther away, but at least there was more to do. I ended up talking to my friend and surprisingly she's open to going to one of these shows on a little vacation, with a small trip to Disneyland of course lol.
So yeah, that's my mini excitement the last few days. The only excitement, really, that's kept me sane. Work has been hell as they've been scheduling me for 6 days a week for the past few months, but hopefully it'll ease up soon. If nothing else, I can look forward to this little vacation cooking up. :)
In terms of Always, I haven't abandoned it, I swear. I'm just taking a step back for a little bit, and I don't want to make any more promises of when things'll be posted that I can't keep. That being said, I'll try my hardest to update when I can :)
