That Girl

The fresh air would do you justice they said. I looked out at the the rain speckled window drinking in the sight of the droplets hitting the window at a rapid pace. Left me in a place of peace and thoughts of clarity. With in an instant my thoughts came crashing down. As this thrust full force of inertia tumbles me forward propelling me into my steering wheel. I regain consciousness while being greeted by a distant echo of voices and a woman with who looked to be in her mid thirties telling me that I just been in a car accident.
"It's only minor darling but, you do need to stay over night" her southern accent is quite pleasant but as I begin to process her words words my eyes begin to bulge out of their sockets in disbelief.
"I know that may come as a shock but, it's only to make sure you're alright." she looked at me with a look of concern and worry.
"Look it's not even my fault some jack ass crashed into me."I clenched my jaw exhaling every ounce of anger I felt. The nurse took this as her cue to leave the room.
"Before I go,I must say; you have quite the boyfriend. He's been waiting all day,to make sure you were okay. That he even fell asleep worrying about you." her smiled seemed so fabricated and I felt so tired I must of her say the wrong words. I took a quick glance at my room to see if I could find the rest room.
"What the hell? Why is their a guy sleeping on the chair in my room. Does he know this is a private room. "Excuse me." He didn't budge he just kept Eyelids closed against the dim light of dawn and his breathing deep and relaxed, all the muscles in his face and body were totally at peace, like a baby in its' first throes of slumber. I thought of my last resort. I grabbed the pillow that gave my back support and tossed it at his face. He awoke in a panicked manner. And look at me.
"Good you're awake." hint the sarcasm in my voice. He smirked and spoke "Well princess, I just wanted to make sure you were okay."
"Ha." I scoffed " You wanted to see if I was fine." "Please enlighten me." he raised his eyebrow "I admire your spunk,it's kinda hot."
"Look I don't have time for your... whatever you call what you're trying to do." "I got to check up on my work."
"You were just in a car crash and all you care about is your job." "Wow you're a piece of work."
"Listen, unlike what ever you do . I looked at him with disgust and continued my sentence. "my job helps people like me when I was younger and I wouldn't trade for anything." the silence broke when his phone chimed. "I got to get this, hope your out princess." He bowed and left me I have name. " I yelled just enough so he could hear me. Which reminds me I got to call work. I reached to for my phone resting on my night stand and dialed the numbers in. " I'm only going miss one day some idiot crashed into me lucky for me I won't have to see him."
