"JACK!" Alex screamed as he opened the curtain to Jack's bunk.
Zack and Jack were still sleeping, well were sleeping. Alex's screams woke them both up, and after wiping the sleep out of his eyes, Zack looked over at Alex.
Alex's face was a blank stare, the smile he was wearing while searching for his best friend disappeared when he saw what was lying in Jack's bunk.
Unlike Zack, Jack was still lying on his side not even bothering to face Alex. "What?" Jack said with a growl in his voice. He wasn't ready to look at Alex, let alone talk to him.
"Um... Do you want to grab something to eat? I guess you can come too Zack," Alex said awkwardly.
"No. Go ask Flyzik. Close the curtain." Jack snapped.
At that moment Alex looked like a kicked puppy. Jack never snapped at him like that. Without even saying another word, Alex closed the curtain and walked into the front lounge. 'Why was Jack so upset? And what was Zack doing in Jack's bunk?'.
Alex sat down on the couch opposite of Matt. Flyzik was on his laptop doing something managery. Alex was just staring at the floor trying to figure out what just happened and didn't realize the couch sink next him.
"Hey, Colussy is taking care of today's show, so I have a little time off. Wanna go get lunch?" Flyzik was leaning on Alex and laced their fingers together. "Lex, what's wrong?" Flyzik realized Alex was just staring at the floor.
"Huh, what?" Alex said, snapping back to reality.
"Do you want to get lunch?" Flyzik repeated. He had that sparkle in his eyes, and he was chewing on his lip ring.
"No. I think I'll just stay here." Alex said sadly.
Matt jumped into manager mode. "Are you ok? Do you have a fever? Are you feeling at all sick?" Matt put his hand on Alex's forehead and frowned. "You don't have a fever, what's wrong?"
"I'm just not in the mood to go out," Alex said with that same sad, confused look he had on since he walked away from Jack's bunk.
"Ok. Then I guess I'll go help Colussy with the show. Bye," Matt said and then gave Alex a peck on the cheek. Before he stepped off the bus he turned back around, "Sound check is at 4:45, don't forget."
Alex just had to smile. No matter when or where Flyzik was, he was always in tour manager mode. Alex decided to go into the back lounge and hang out with Rian and Cassadee. The good thing about having a girl tour with you was that whenever you had any emotional problems they'd help you out.
While walking to the back lounge, Alex passed Jack's bunk and he could swear he heard muffled tones and crying. Alex was going to stop, but then remembered that Jack was mad at him. But why?
Alex walked into the back lounge to see Rian and Cassadee making out with a movie playing in the background. Alex took it upon himself to not even say anything, but sit right on Rian's lap.
"Having fun buddy?" Alex asked with a grin as he sat on Rian's lap.
Rian pulled away from Cassadee and groaned. "Ugh, I live on a bus with a bunch of fucking cockblocks!"
Alex had to laugh, but Cass didn't find it as hilarious. "Alex! That's the second time in three days!" Cassadee whined, then angrily folded her arms and turned to face the movie.
"Well you knew you were gonna have to share this sexy motherfucker with all of us," Alex joked and then playfully gave Cassadee a peck on the cheek to loosen the mood.
When Alex kissed her, Cass was shocked and had to laugh. Rian wasn't laughing though. "Dude! Get your own girlfriend! First you cockblock me and then kiss my girlfriend!"
"Sorry! You're just jealous because you didn't get a kiss." Alex laughed, then kissed Rian, dead on the lips. "Better?"
"God damnit! I fucking hate you!" Rian yelled as he wiped off his lips. "What the fuck do you want anyway?"
"Chill out! You get really mad when you're horny! I just wanted to hang out with you guys." Alex said and then put his arms around the two.
"Go hang out with Jack!" Rian commanded. He instantly felt bad because at the mention of Jack's name, Alex's smile disappeared and he took his arms away from Rian and Cassadee.
"He doesn't want to," Alex mumbled as he stared at the floor and played with his fingers.
"What happened?" Cassadee asked and put her arms around Alex.
"He hates me. He's been acting really weird lately." Alex mumbled again and rested his head on Cassadee's shoulder.
