You and I.

Alex's POV

When I woke up I was alone in bed, but I heard the shower going so I was hoping it was Jack having a shower before he went to work.
Sure enough a few minutes later Jack came out the bathroom with a towel round his waist.
He smiled when he saw I was awake.

"How you feeling this morning?" He asked and sat in my side of the bed.
"Like shit." I said and Jack chuckled.
" Well I have to go to work sadly, but tonight I'll make sure I cheer you up." He said and kissed me which I returned.
"Is someone staying with me today?" I asked as I wouldn't be surprised.
"Yeah, Eric and Erin are staying. Is that okay?" Jack said and looked at me.
I nodded and sat up and rested my head on his shoulder.
"I'm sorry." I said quietly.
"Don't say sorry. Its all part of you getting better, next time just talk to me okay. I will do everything I can to help you." He said and wrapped a arm round me and pulled me closer to him.
"I know." I whispered.
" Anyway, get up because I need to go to work and I know for a fact Erin wants be nurse Erin today." He said and I couldn't help but chuckle.
"Okay." I muttered and got up and pulled a pair of Jacks pajama bottoms on.
"Come here you." Jack said as he got up and opened his arms out and I walked over and he wrapped his arms round me which I returned.
"If you need me then just call me and I'll always answer the phone to you okay." He said and kissed the top of my head.
"I know." I said quietly and looked at him and kissed him.
"Now go and see nurse Erin I'm sure she has a lot to say to you." He chuckled and I let him go and went to walk off but Jack pulled me back towards him and kissed me a little harder than before and then let me go.
I looked at him and smiled and went to the sitting room.

Jack had gone to work and Erin was making sure I wasn't going to do anything and made Eric do all the running around.
"Lex?" Erin said and she climbed on the sofa and cuddled into my side since Eric had to go to the shops quickly.
"Yeah sweetie.' I said and looked at her.
"Is your head telling you lies again?" She asked and looked at me.
I sighed.
"My head doesn't just tell me lies, it tells me to hurt myself because my head tells me I'm not good enough for you and everyone." I said.
"But you are good enough. Daddy, Freddie and Jacky are sad that your hurt yourself." She said.
I looked away and looked down.
"I know I've made them sad." I said sadly.
"Its okay though, because I'm going to make you a pretty picture that will make you smile." She said and got off the sofa and got her art stuff and sat on the floor.
I put my feet on the sofa and rested my head on my knees and started to pull my hair.

I didn't realise that Eric had come back and was listening to what me and Erin was saying.
"She really cares about you Lex." Eric said quietly and made me jump.
"I know she does." I whispered.
"What's going on inside that head of hours Lex?" Eric asked.
"I don't know. Hoping its a little blip and then I can start again and not let everyone down." I said and pulled my hair.
"Don't pull your hair." Eric said quietly and put his hand on top of mine.
"With everyone's help this will be a blip okay. You haven't let us down." He said and pulled me to his side.
"Yeah I have, I heard Freddie shout at Jack about me." I sniffed.
"That's because Fred doesn't understand what we have to go through to get back to normality of the world." He said.
I just sniffed.
"I drew you a picture Lex." Erin said and climbed on Eric's lap.
I smiled and took it from her.
"Its beautiful, thanks Ren." I said.
Erin moved and sat on my lap and wrapped her arms round my neck and hugged me.
"Hugs always cheers me up. Hope my hugs can cheer you up as well." She said in my ear.
"Yours and Jacks hugs will always cheer me up." I said quietly and she hugged me tighter.

When Jack came home Eric and Erin went to find Callie.
"See nurse Erin has drawn you a picture to cheer you up." Jack chuckled as he cuddled into my side while handing me my meds and a cuppa.
"Yeah and lots of hugs." I chuckled and Jack looked through Netflix for something to watch.
"Aren't you lucky." Jack chuckled.
" Yeah, but there not as good as yours." I said and looked at him and saw Jack smile.
"Glad to hear about that." He chuckled.
"Put house on. It was getting good." I said and nudged Jack with my foot.
"But I'm bored of watching that." Jack said.
"Please babe. Because you love me." I said and moved and sat on his lap.
"Can't think of something better to do other than watching crap." He said.
"Its not crap! You might learn something from it." I chuckled and slapped his chest playfully.
" Fine. I bloody watch it, only if I get something at the end of it." He said and I moved and rested my head in his lap and he started to mess with my hair.
"You might do depends if you stop moaning." I said and looked at him and Jack just pouted which made me chuckle.
"What if I was moaning your name." He said quietly in my ear.
"Bog off Jack otherwise your getting nothing." I said seriously.
Jack just sighed and found another way to annoy me.
