Fred's POV

I knew if I wanted to get answers and find out what happened with Isobel it was going to be better without Eric and Alex around since they both really don't like her, neither do I really but I was normally the one who was calm enough to do this sort of thing since Eric and Alex was both really hot headed about things.
I was also giving a day up with Eli but I think he was going to come into town and join me and Isobel.
He was also sat with me until Isobel shows up which was nice.

"You do realise they are going to kill you when they find out what your doing." Eli said as he stole some of my drink and looked at me.
I was sat sideways in my chair and Eli was also messing with my legs.
"Yeah I know, but its easier to do it this way because you know what them two are like." I said.
"Their like that for a reason, you know that." He said.
I just rolled my eyes.
"Don't roll your eyes at me young man." He chuckled and slapped my legs.
"Fuck you old man." I chuckled and Eli raised a eyebrow at me.
"Considering this old man is engaged to you and fucks you, you should think carefully of what words you use." He said.
"Okay, fuck you my sexy fiancée." I said and moved and kissed him which made him smile.
"That's better." He said quietly and I smiled at him.
"We still need to talk about weddings mister." He said and poked my sides.
"I know, just have work, money and now Alex too worry about." I sighed.
"Hey, you know the money I make is enough for you not to work and we can afford to live comfortably and have a nice wedding." He said.
"I know, but I don't want to always rely on you." I said and looked at him.
"I know, but you don't have to worry because I'll always have your back." He said and kissed me.
"I have to go. I'll see you later." He said and got kissed the top off my head and walked off.
I watched him walk away and Isobel sat down opposite me.

"Eric and Alex not coming?" She asked and looked round.
"They're busy." I said.
"Who was that handsome man sat with you?" She asked.
"My fiancée." I said.
"Wow, congratulations are in order then." She smiled.
'Thanks." I said quietly.
"You have a date yet?" She asked.
"Not yet. Need to make sure Alex is okay first and Eric and his family are settled." I said.

"Is Alex okay? I have been worried sick about him everyday since I left." She said and ordered herself a drink.
"If you've been worried sick about him then how come you haven't been around to check on him? You have no idea how hard these 6 years have been on Alex and Jack." I said and looked at her.
"Truth is I haven't been in the country." She said.
"Well what a surprise." I said sarcastically.
"I needed to go to Bailey and be with Rose." She said.
"And yet you couldn't stay here for your serious mentality ill son and you other son who at the time had come out of hospital after a fucking drug overdose. We fucking needed you more than them. We can't stress this enough with you but it doesn't seem to get through into your head." I said.
"I needed a break Fred. Alex had been bad since he was 11 ever since that bastard did what he did to him. I needed a break Fred please understand that." She said.
"Funny thing here is that Jack has been with Alex for 6 fucking years and not once has he left Alex's side. Even when Alex almost killed him and is fucking lucky to be alive. Jack never left him." I said.
Isobel looked at me.
"He nearly killed himself?" She asked.
"Yeah. Don't have a clue what was ticking in his head." I said quietly.
I felt someone touch my shoulder and I looked at saw Eli and I smiled and he smiled in returned.

"Who's this?" Isobel asked and looked at Eli.
"The other half. Now do you want to be in his, Eric's and Alex's life? Miss out on all the things which is happening to them? No? Then buck your fucking ideas up and admit you seriously fucked up and make up with your sons. If they don't want to make up then you should back the hell away from them." Eli said seriously.
Isobel looked at me for help.
"Did I also forget to mention he every good at his job and once we say we don't want you in our lives he'll get a restraining order on you." I said.
"You can't do that." Isobel said.
"You find that they can." Eli said.
I looked at him out the corner of my eye and he backed off a little.
Isobel also took the hint to get off that subject.
"How Eric?" She asked.
"He's okay, he has his family which keeps him busy." I said.
"Has he been back on the drugs?" she asked.
"He had a blip about 5 years ago but his girlfriend has kept him on the straight and narrow and has him whipped into place." I said and Eli chuckled.
"That's good, I'm glad someone can keep him in place." She said.
"She defiantly does that." I said.
Isobel smiled.
"Glad he's found someone to settle down with." She said and looked at her phone.
"I need to go and pick Rose up from the otherside of town. I hope you can talk to your brothers and we can meet up and I can meet Eric's girlfriend." She said and went to get up.
"See what I can do." I said and she smiled and walked off.
"So there you have it, you've finally met my mother." I said.
"She's a bitch." He said and I chuckled.
" Just a bit." I said and Eli got up and offered me his hand which I took.
"Oh and by the way, you sticking up for me is now a new turn on." I said quietly which made him chuckle.
"Well if we go home, I might be able to do something for you." He said and I grabbed hold of his hand and pretty much dragged him home.

"Babe, my feet hurt." Eli said and poked his feet in my face as a hint.
"My ass hurts but you don't hear me complaining about it." I said and looked at him since he was lead on the sofa with his feet on my lap.
"You love your ass hurting that's why you don't complain about it." He said and nudged my face with his foot.
"Fred please, rub them for me." He said.
"Fine, only because I love you and it gets your stinky feet out my face." I said and started go rub his feet.
Eli hummed and got himself more comfy.
I chuckled.
"Happy there?" I asked and he smiled.
"Yeah, why wouldn't I be. I have my most favourite person ever rubbing my feet." He said.
"You know, you should seriously start paying me for these foot rubs." I said and Eli laughed.
"I pay you in sex." He said.
"You could also get me a cat." I said.
Eli rolled his eyes.
"Baby please let me have a cat. I get lonely here when your not here I need something to keep me company." I said.
"I know you get lonely when I'm not here but I also know you go round Eric's or Alex's and annoy them." He said.
"Yeah but if I had a cat I wouldn't have to go round their houses." I said.
"Then the little cunt will ruin the furniture ." He said.
"No it won't. We can get it a strach post and put it over there." I said and lead on his chest and pointed.
" D you seriously have it all planned out?" He asked.
"Yeah." I said and Eli chuckled and started to mess with my hair and he kissed my forehead.
"I love you." He said quietly.
"I love you too." I said and moved my hand and started to trace my finger round his jaw line.
Eli put a film on and we fell asleep on the sofa.
