Jacks POV

Since Alex had to go home and Isla was at preschool so I was working with Zack like normal.

"Wait so you two have now had sex twice. Just ask him out already." He said.
"Got 2 months before I can do that." I said.
Zack groaned.
" He also stayed round the whole weekend as well." I said.
Zack sighed.
"Don't you think this is going to fast?" He asked.
"No." I said.
Zack rolled his eyes.
"Have you asked Alex if you're moving to fast." He said.
"Alex made the move on sex both times." I said.
"And you think that you just listen to your dick." He said.
"Why not." I said and shrugged my shoulders.
"Right you need to work that fucking charm of yours. I'll look after Isla and Archie and you two can go out and have a proper date with just you two." He said.
"You know it'll end in sex." I said.
"Then you better make sure it doesn't! You two need to speak about the past. And go into fucking detail about it. Find out where you fucked up!" He said.
"Oh so you want me to take him out in a date and then talk about how I screw a bitch in our bed and then got her pregnant. So how if I did that I'll never get him back." I said.
"If it wasn't against the rules I would fucking slap you!" Zack said seriously.
I chuckled.
"You talk about how he's coping. The last time I saw him he looked like a right mess bless him." He said.
"He's fine Zack." I said.
"I can literally punch you right now." He said and walked off.
I just went back to work.

Alex had Isla since he picked her up so I could work later than normal.
I knocked on his door and a few seconds later he answered the door.
Alex smiled and let me in.
"You okay? You look like you could cry at any moment." I said and looked at him.
Isla was playing with Archie and didn't even notice me.
"Course I'm fine." He said and walked to the kitchen.
I followed him and noticed only two plates.
"Alex have you eaten?" I asked.
"Yes." He snapped which wasn't like him.
"Don't lie to me Alex." I said.
"I'm not fucking lying Jack." He said and ran his hand through his hair.
"Daddy." Archie said.
Alex look a deep breath and looked at Archie.
"Yeah bud." Alex said.
"Come watch TV." He said.
"I can't right now okay. Later I will." He said.
Archie nodded and walked out.

"Alex what's going on? I haven't seen you this stressed out since your dad left." I said.
Alex walked to the door and checked on the kids and shut the door.
"I'm being kicked out." He said and threw a letter on the table.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"I can't afford to live here Jack." He said and walked over to the bottle of vodka and had a mouthful.
"Hey, don't worry. You can move in with me and Isla." I said.
"Yeah like thats going to fucking work." He said sarcastically.
" Alex your stressed and drinking isn't going to help." I said.
"What am I meant to do Jack. How the fuck can I go out there and say to Archie that we have to move again." He said.
"Alex how many times have you moved?" I asked.
"Why does it matter? I am going to be living in the streets by the end if the week. The fuck am I meant to do that with a four year old. I can't its not fair in him. I don't give a shit About me but he can't live on the streets." He said going into full melt down.
"Lex breath. You not going to the streets because you and Archie are going to live with me and Isla. I'm not letting you go and live on the streets." I said.
"I can't do that." He whispered.
"You can because your going to." I said.

"Christ my life is so fucked up." He said and sat on the floor.
I got him some water and sat next to him and gave the water to him.
He smiled and rested his head on my shoulder.
"What would I do without you?" He asked quietly.
"Don't have a clue." I chuckled.
"You sure you want me and Archie living with you?" He asked.
"Yes. Then I can keep an eye on you." I said.
"I've managed fine for the last 3 years on my own." He said and looked at me.
"yeah, but now I can keep an eye on you and Archie." I said.
Alex rested his head back on my shoulder and sighed.
"You can move in tonight if you want." I said quietly.
Alex nodded and got up.
"I need to talk to Arch." He said quietly.
"Its fine I have to talk to Isla." I said and got up as well.
Alex smiled and went and got Archie and went to his room.

"Come here a sec Isla." I said and she nodded and climbed on the sofa.
"Is it okay if Alex and Archie move in with us." I said.
"Does that mean I can now always play with Archie?" She asked.
"Yeah." I said.
"Are you and Alex together?" She asked and looked at me.
"No. Why do you say that?" I said.
"Because you act like you are." She said and cuddled into my side.
"Well we're not together." I said and kissed the top of her head.
"Oh. I want you to be together." She said.
I looked at her confused.
