Forgive me. Please?

Alex's POV

"Daddy?" My son Archie said and looked at me as I rolled over in bed and looked at him.
"what's up champ?" I yawned and looked at the time.
6 am.
Better then the 5 am wake up calls.
"Is mummy coming home soon? I really really miss her." He said and looked at me.
"Don't have a clue buddy. I know you miss her but you have me and at the moment that's all we need isn't it?" I said.
He nodded.
"you getting under the covers and going back to sleep?" I asked hoping the answer was yes so I could at least get some more sleep.
He nodded and climbed under the covers and cuddled into my chest.
I smiled and kissed the top of his head and fell asleep.

"Archie come in bud." I said and walked in the sitting room while putting my shoes in and nearly falling over Archie's toys.
"Fuck sake." I muttered under my breath.
Archie came out and hugged my leg.
"I don't want t to go." He sobbed into my leg.
It was Archie's first day of preschool and he doesn't want to leave me which is understandable since his mother just left us.
"You have to because then you can make new friends and you don't ha e to be stuck with me all the time." I said and picked him.
He buried his head in my neck.
"I'll stay with you for a while and if you don't like it then you can come back with me okay." I said and Archie nodded and we walked out the door.

I got there and we had to wait which wasn't mine or Archie's strong point.
He was still holding on for dear life.
"See theres no one scary here." I said and looked around and spotted someone strangely familiar.
" I want to go home." Archie said and started to mess with my hair.
"Give it a try and if you don't like them we can go home." I said and started to walk inside since the doors was unlocked.

"Hey, my son is new and starting to day I was wondering if it was okay for me to stay for a while and go." I said.
"Your Archie." A lady said and walked over and said hello to Archie.
"You can stay if you like to." I nodded and walked off and put Archie down and he just latched himself on my leg.
"Look Arch, they have a really big farm yard." I said and peeled him from my leg and walked over to the farm toys.
I could feel someone watching me but I didn't turn round.
"Daddy? Why you staring its rude to Stare." A little girl said and walked over to the person.
I didn't hear his response and the girl came running over to me and Archie.
Archie was sat between my legs happily playing with a cow and pig.
