Dancing with the wolves

"Where's mummy?" Florence asked as we got home.
"She's just spending a bit longer with grumpy and pops." I said and walked inside.
"Where's Zig?" She yawned.
"He's with mummy but he'll be home soon." I said and put her down.
"Do you want a hot chocolate?" I asked and she nodded.
"Want to go and put you PJs on and you can come down and have your drink and watch something on the TV with me." I said and she went upstairs and put the kettle on.
I went to the sitting room and put the TV on and not long after Flo came down the stairs.
"Help daddy." She said and I did the buttons up on her top and picked her up and went to the kitchen and made her drink.
We went to the sitting room and I sat on the sofa and Flo was leaning against me drinking her drink eyes fixed to the TV.
"Finished daddy." She said and nearly hit me with her cup.
"Pop it on the table and we can have cuddles and watch a film." I said.
She got down and climbed back up and I rolled onto my back and Flo cuddled into my chest.

I was just nodding off when Aidan came home.
I looked and Flo was fast asleep.
I sat up quietly and went over to Aidan.
Zig was fast asleep his head resting on her shoulder dribbling a little.
"Hey beautiful." I said quietly which made Aidan jump.
"Jesus Will you trying to kill me?" Shje whispered to me.
"Sorry." I said quietly and looked down.
"It's fine. Let's put these two bed and talk." She said and went out the kitchen.
I watched her and smiled and went and put Flo to bed.
I was tidying the sitting room up when Aidan came downstairs.
"You didn't have to do that." She said and joined me in the kitchen and looked in the fridge and got me and herself and beer.
I must be in her good books as if she was still pissed of with me she wouldn't want to be in the same room as me.
"I need to pull my weight around here as well." I said and took the beer off her and she smiled.
"You don't have to sleep on the sofa tonight." She said quietly.
"I can do if you want me too. It's actually a pretty comfy sofa to sleep on." I said.
She rolled her eyes at me.
"I don't want you too. I might of over reacted about the other day." She said and sat on the side.
I stood between her legs.
"You didn't over react. I was being stupid, I shouldn't of done what I did. Especially since you made me promise not to do it when Ziggy was born." I said.
"I just feel stupid about it." She said and ran her hand though her hair.
"Don't feel like that. You said them rules for a reason. I completely understand why you said them. Because they could of eaten it and they could of been really poorly and I don't think I could ever forgive myself if I was the reason why they was really poorly." I said.
She looked at me and smiled.
"If it happens again you won't be sleeping on the sofa but you'll be kicked out the house." She said seriously.
I learnt the hard way that Aidan was always serious about these things especially since the kids have been around.
"Okay." I said quietly and she kissed me.
"By the way, the boys know our serect about what we did at Seth's wedding." She said.
"Really? Damn." I chuckled.
"It's okay though because when Kit and Riley buggered of for an hour we know exactly what they was doing as well." She said.
"Is your family basically sluts but with partners?" I asked.
She took a mouth full of beer and nodded.
"Pretty much." She smiled.
I laughed.
"Am I in for make up sex tonight or not?" I asked.
"Not tonight but I might ship the kids of to dad and Pa somewhen next week for the night and you can do whatever you want." She said and wrapped her arms round my neck.
"But do I get a make up kiss?" I asked.
"Duh." She said and kissed me hard.
"Love you." I said quietly.
"I love you too you tit." She chuckled and kissed me again.

We moved from the kitchen and went to bed.
I was already in whatever I wore to bed so I made the most of watching Aidan getting ready for bed.
"Enjoying the view?" She asked as she pulled her top off.
"Very much so." I said and she threw the top at me.
"Creep." She chuckled.
"As long as I'm the only person who can watch you undress I don't see myself as the creep." I said.
She walked over to me in just her underwear.
"I need another tattoo." She huffed.
"Want me too see if I can fit you in tommorow?" I asked since I was a tattooist is the popular tattoo shop in the area.
She looked at me and smiled.
"You know me too well." She said.
"Might as well make the most of me." I said.
"Defently am. I'll have to dump the kids with dad since Pa is working and I'll do my shift at the coffee shop and I'll even bring everyone free coffee." She said.
"Knew there was a reason why I fucking loved you working in the coffee shop." I said and Aidan slapped my chest.
"Ow." I said and rubbed my chest.
"Ah, poor little William." She chuckled.
"Kiss it better." I said.
She laughed.
"Na, I have to sort my face out otherwise I'll be scaring the kids tommorow when they wake me up." She said and got up.
"That's true." I said and followed her to our bathroom.
She looked at me shocked.
"Your not meant to agree with me you bastard!" She chuxkled
"You are scary though, especially when you go on a rampage about something." I said.
She glared at me.
"Love you beautiful." I smiled.
"Your lucky I'm married to you and love you otherwise you can kiss your balls goodbye." She said and went back to taking her make up off.
"I kiss my balls goodbye on a regular basis thanks. Especially since you wear the trousers in this marriage." I said.
"You love it though." She said and looked at me.
"True." I said nodding my head.
I went over and stood behind her and hugged her.
"You know, fuck this your doing a face mask with me." She said and grabbed a something and turned round and looked at me.
"You turning me gay?" I asked.
"But if you was gay I wouldn't have you stood in front of me and have two beautiful children." She said.
"Anyway, before you poor Riley had to suffer with this." She said and started to put the stuff on my face.
"You better be taking the hint on what I want to do when we don't have the kids." She said and looked at me.
"Hint noted." I said.
She smiled.

"Mummy?" A little voice said as they walked towards the bathroom.
"I've got it." I said and kissed her cheek and went to the bedroom.
"What's up champ?" I asked as I picked Ziggy up.
"I had a nightmare." He said quietly and looked at me confused.
"Mummy making me look beautiful." I said and he smiled and yawned.
"Go back to sleep." I whispered and rocked myself side to side and kissed the side of his head.
"What if the monster comes back?" He asked quietly.
"Tell him that he has to get past me and mummy before he can get to you." I said and walked to his room.
"What if he doesnt listen?" He asked as i put him into bed.
"He will especially when mummy is involed. Nothing will get past her." I said.
He smiled.
"Here's boo now go back to sleep and I'll see you in the morning." I said and kissed his forehead.
I pulled the covers over him and he was sound asleep.
I smiled and went back to Aidan.
"What was wrong?" She asked as i sat next to her and watched her paint her toenails.
"He had a nightmare." I said.
"Again, poor little bugger seems to be having loads lately." She said and frowned.
"Why don't you make him a dreamcatcher or something." I said.
"With what time? If haven't noticed I'm kinda sweep of my feet." She said and looked at me.
"Draw him one. I know you miss art." I said.
"I'll do it tommorow while you are tattooing me." She smiled.
"You never even said where you wanted it." I said.
She shrugged her shoulders.
"I don't even know myself." She said.
I rolled my eyes at her.
"Better get this shit of our faces and go to bed because I seriously cannot survive a all night and have kids running around." She said.
"Ah the good old days." I said.
She chuckled.
"But I wouldn't change it for anything." She said and I followed her to the bathroom.

By the time we crawled into bed it was 2 in the morning.
"Yeah we are going to be dead tommorow." Aidan said and cuddled into my side.
"Yeah. Oh well energy drinks such a lovely thing." I said.
"Christ, not only am I going to be dealing with hyperactive kids but a hyperactive husband." She sighed.
I smiled and kissed the side of her head as she was slowly falling asleep.
"Night beautiful." I said quietly and waited for sleep to come to me.
