Dancing with the wolves

I woke up in bed alone but the shower was going so I rolled out of bed and walked into the shower and cuddled into Riley's back which made him jump.
"You okay?" He asked quietly.
I nodded into his back and kissed between his shoulder blades.
He turned round and made me look at him.
"Monday morning feeling?" He chuckled and kissed me.
"Could say that." I said quietly against his lips and kissed him again.
He smiled.
"What time you going to work?" He asked.
"I don't even know." I said and moved so I could at least have a shower.
"Your so grumpy in the mornings." Riley chuckled.
"I'm tired, if you haven't guessed already you seem too love staying up late." I said and I felt a pair of arms round me.
"Your blind put your glasses on." He chuckled.
"I'll steam up, nice try though." I said.
"Damn. Mr grumpy pants." He said and kissed me behind my ear.
I heard my phone go off.
"I got it." Riley said and got out the shower and walked towards the bedroom.
I just watched him while enjoying my shower.
"Oi fuck tard you have to be at work for 9." Riley said as he walked back into the bathroom with a shirt on.
"What's the time now?" I asked.
"You have 10 minutes to get to work." He said.
"You have to be joking?" I muttered and turned the shower off and pretty much rushed to get dressed.

I managed to get to work on time just about.
"What happened to you?" Someone called Pete asked.
"Woke up late, fiencé wouldn't get out of shower." I said as I took my coat off.
"And I forgot to put my glasses on so I'm fucking blind." I sighed.
Pete laughed.
"You seriously need to have a sign round your neck saying you don't do early mornings." He said.
"I don't." I said and rung Riley.

"Can't miss me that quickly can you?" He chuckled.
"Can you bring in my glasses?" I asked.
"Maybe." He said but you could hear him smirk at me.
"Please, I don't want to be blind all day." I pouted.
"I was going to go back to bed." He said.
"Riley!" I said.
"Was thinking about doing something else." He said.
"Do I need to phone your sister and get her to beat you up?" I asked.
"I'm untouchable for the next 4 months." He said.
"Riley please. I'll even give you a discount when you buy something." I said.
"Fine. I'll be there in half an hour." He huffed.
"Thank you." I said.
"I love you." He said.
"I love you too, see you in a bit." I said and hung up.

I was busy trying not to crash into anything or anyone when I felt something being put on my face.
I turned round and could actually see something for the first time today.
I smiled when it was Riley.
"That better now your not blind?" He chuckled.
"Yes." I said and removed the sticky note someone had put on me to warn people and stuck it on Riley's chest.
"Warning I am blind and waiting for my glasses sorry if I walk into or hit you." Riley said as he read it.
"Yeah, everyone finds it funny on my blindness." I said and put a load of stuff on a shelve.
Riley chuckled.
"What you doing for your lunch break?" He asked.
"Eating." I said sarcastically.
"Fuck that, I'm taking you somewhere." He said and followed me.
"Unlike you I actually want t my job." I said.
"Fine, I will bring lunch to you." He said quietly and kissed my ear and walked off.
"Don't you dare Riley!" I said after him.
"See you later." He said.
I just glared at the back of his head and carried on with what I'm doing.

"Why is your fiencé so hot?" Pete asked as he joined me.
"Because he is so eyes off because he's mine." I said.
"I'm just saying, wouldn't mind him in my bed." He said.
"Please don't talk about Riley like that. He's mine and he's going to be my husband and I don't want to know what you think about him." I said and walked off and went to do something else.
"Come on Kit, lighten up." He said.
"No. I won't lighten up because you wouldn't like it if I spoke about your other half like you have been speaking about Riley. He's a human being and my other half and I appreciate you stop talking about him." I said.
Pete sighed.
"Fine, you two have plans for the big day yet?" He asked.
"Nope." I simply said but in fact really we did.
Pete was going to say something but our manager came over.
"Kit on the tills please." He said.
"But I was about to go for lunch." I said.
"Lunch can wait, your needed on the tills." He said.
"If I pass out because of hunger then I'm blaming you." I said and walked off.

I was 2 hours over my lunch break when I spotted Riley.
He came over with a load of clothes which I don't understand why he needs more because our bedroom floor was just covered in shoes and clothes.
"Fucking bastard." I said quietly to Riley.
"Bastard ot letting you have your lunch?" He asked.
"No, I'm really hungry since I didn't eat anything last night or this morning." I said.
"Just quit I would." He said.
"Well I'm not you am I?" I chuckled.
"Give me your money bitch." I said and put my hand out to take his money from him.
"What if I say no?" He asked and slowly gave me the money.
I snatched it friom him.
"You didn't get a chance." I chuckled.
"Asshole." Riley smiled.
"Kit you can have your lunch now." My manager said.
"Lunch date?" Riley asked.
"Give me two minutes." I said and walked off and got my stuff.

We was sat in a park pigging out on mcdonalds since i had a 2 hour lunch break since they didnt need me back at work.
"You know we could defiently be doing something better than this." Riley said.
I rested my head on his shoulder and just ejoying the sun.
"Nope, because I just want to relax before I'm forced to go back indoors and miss the sun." I said.
"Understandable." He chuckled and kissed the top of my head.
"Does Aidan know what the space monkey is?" I asked since we haven't really spoken to any of Riley's family for a while.
"Think so, shell I ask if we could go round later and see the kids?" He asked.
"Yeah, haven't seen them two for a while." I said.
"I'll do that then." Riley muttered and got his phone and texted Aidan.

I moved and sat in the gap of his legs and lent against his chest while Riley put his arms over my shoulders.
"5 months." I said and messed with his engagement ring.
"They better hurry up because then I can finally say the husband word." He chuckled and kissed my cheek.
"We still haven't decided where to go." I said.
"Hot and sunny." Riley said.
"Australia?" I asked.
"That's too hot and sunny." Riley chuckled.
"We'll look later when we go home." I said.
"Yes mum." He chuckled.
"You don't even have one so you can't exactly call me mum." I said.
"I know, wouldn't have it any other way." He said.
I looked at his watch which I got him for a anniversary present for the time.

Riley lead down and I rolled over and lead on his chest.
"I have an hour before I go back to work." I said quietly.
"Phone sick, I dont want you to go back to work." He said and ran his finger up and down my spine.
"I have to otherwise wedding and other things aren't gonna pay themselves off." I said.
"I told you that you don't have to worry about that as dad and Pa could give us the money since they don't know what to do with the stuff." He said.
"But it's our day and that." I said.
"I know it is but you heard them say that if we need help with anything then they will help us." He said.
I sighed knowing this was true and just rested my head on his stomach.
Riley stopped what he was doing and moved his hand and messed with my hair.
I smiled and made the most of this before I got dragged back to work.
