This Ride Is A Wild One

Three weeks had passed and everything was back the way it used to be. Jack was a lot more clingy than usual, however. Almost like he was trying to prove his love for Amy. She had decided it was just down to what had happened. She thought she had lost Jack’s love, so of course he was bound to be more affectionate towards her.

Today was the day the boys had been waiting for, a great weight lifted off of their shoulders. Today was the day they finally wrapped on Future Hearts. Everything was recorded and edited, all that needed doing were last minute adjustments. The artwork had been revealed, the release date was set, the video for Something’s Gotta Give had been released, plans for their next video for Kids In The Dark were well underway and the release date for the album was fast approaching.
“April will be here so soon” Alex smiled as they all sat around in the studio “Man, I am so proud of this album” Zack threw them all a smile. The reception to their first single from the album was amazing. They guys where overwhelmed by the response; it meant the world to finally be sharing new music with their fans.
“Ugh, it’s almost Valentine’s Day” Alex groaned “Shall we have a date night?” he wiggled his eyebrows suggestively at Zack “Sorry man, I’ll be back home then” Zack apologised “Spend it with us” Jack grinned at his best friend “I can’t just third wheel on your Valentine’s Day” Alex protested “And why not? Amy would love to have you there” the mention of her name made Alex’s stomach drop. How could he spend Valentine’s Day with her, knowing that he was just there as her friend? It would hurt him too much “Nah I’m cool. I think I'll go and visit my parents instead” he gave a small, sad smile “Suit yourself” Jack shrugged.

“Aaammmyyyy” “Jaaaaaccckkkk” “I have a very important question for you” Jack searched the apartment for his girlfriend “And what would that be?” she asked, stepping out from the kitchen “Come sit with me first” he smiled. He took a seat on the couch, patting his lap, motioning for her to sit. She placed herself on his knees, wrapping her arms around his neck “So, I’ve been thinking about something for a while now” he chewed his bottom lip nervously. Amy placed her hand on his cheek, encouraging him to continue “So I was thinking about opening a new bar, here, in LA” “Oh my gosh, Jack! That would be amazing! If you want to do it, then do it! Follow your dreams, I know you’ve been wanting to do this for some time now” she grinned “Why did you feel the need to ask me though?” she was puzzled.It’s not like he needed her permission “Well, you see…” he scratched the back of his neck “I want to be here so I can make sure it does well” “Of course you’ll be here. We can both come for its opening night. I’m sure everything will go smoothly” she grinned “No, Amy…” he let out a breath, looking her straight in the eyes “Will you move to LA with me?”

Notes

I've confused myself completely with the timeline of this story! I couldn't remember what month is was supposed to be, so I just decided to go by canon events so I now know where I'm at. So if this ends up really confusing, I apologise. I should really keep myself up to date with when I set it! :')

Bit of a filler, also, but I'm just determined to keep updating. It's almost 12:30am here in the UK, and I'm up at 7 for work. I should really be sleeping, but here I am, writing chapters for this story! You're welcome ;)
