Jack

I was absolutely shocked at how amazing Alex’s voice was. He was such a quiet person, he was practically mute for the first few weeks I knew him, you would expect his singing voice to be similar, but no. He had a loud and powerful voice, which such advanced control, I could barely believe he’d never sang in front of anyone before.

The second it was over, I pulled Alex close to me in a constricting hug, he laid his head down on my shoulder and sighed.

“Can you be any more perfect?” I asked him, smiling. He shook his head, and kept taking deep breathes, trying to calm down, and he grabbed onto my hand and held it tight.

“You were AMAZING, how come you never told me you had such a beautiful voice?” I asked.

“Because I don't!” As he said it, a great idea just popped into my head.

“You know how me and the guys mess around in our band together? We still don’t have a lead singer, but I really think you’d be perfect.”

“You’re kidding right?” he responded, almost laughing at how ridiculous I sounded.

“What?! You’re voice matches with the stuff we play, and it’s flawless.” I answered.

“Jack, I just sang for the first time in front of people three seconds ago. Just, give me time.”

“But you’re really good! You know that right?”

“Whatever, Jack” he muttered, and walked away to grab his backpack and things.
It’s not a bad idea! He’s such a great singer, and we’ve been looking for a guy that fit the band, and he’s perfect! He knows everyone in it, he’s not an asshole. There is no bad reason here, besides Alex being shy. I wish he could see himself the way I saw him, now he’s pissed at me.

He’s never been pissed at me before, I really don’t like the feeling of him being angry at me.
Cass glared at me, and mouthed “Don’t screw this up” silently to me.
She was talking about my relationship with Alex, it’s been a few days and I don’t want this to become our first fight.
I hope we don’t have any real fights at all, honestly, I don’t think we will be able to. I am just so scared of losing what we have between us, I would just do anything he says. Cass is completely right, like always.
I followed Alex and wrapped my arms around his waist in a hug.

“Look, I’m sorry. I already pressured you into singing today which was amazing. I’m just really excited that you’re such a good musician-”

I was interrupted to lips pressed to mine, I smiled against his kiss and pulled him closer. Good, he’s not mad.

“It’s fine, I’m not upset with you or anything. I’m just worked up because of what just happened, I’ll think about the band.” Alex explained. He’s going to think about it!!!!

“Ugh, you’re perfection. What did I do to deserve you?” I asked.

“You bought me dinner the other night…” he joked, I made a fake angry face and kissed his cheek.

I'm sorry, this chapter is HORRIBLE
its basically pointless, it's a filler
I've been having such terrible writers block for the past few days :'(
If anyone knows any way to get rid of it, if you told me in the comments it would be super helpful, but i guess for now the chapters aren't going to be that good
anddddd im writing another story, i said i was going to post the first chapter 2 days ago, but it's still not written -.- because, like i said, writers block
