"You did what!?" Zack said as we walked to school on the second day of hell.
"I invited him to join us." I said.
"Jack, he's not gonna fit in." Rian said.
"How do you know? He might fit in just fine." I said as we got to school.
"He has problems Jack I'm pretty sure he isn't gonna fit in." Rian said again.
"Well there's only one way too find out then." I said and looked round for Alex who was walking towards the school.
"Alex!" I said loudly and he looked up and slowly walked towards us.
"I seriously fucking hope you know what your doing Barakat!" Zack growled.
"Trust me. He's gonna fit in with us." I said as Alex got us.
"I thought you was joking about that whole hang with me and my friends offer." He said and clicked his tounge.
"Fucking told you!" Rian said and slapped my shoulder.
"Well I wasn't joking." I said and stole Rians lighter and started to smoke.
"Please tell me you have one I can steal?" Alex asked.
I got my packet out and threw it at him and he caught it.
"You want a.." I started but stopped when Alex shook his head.
"I have plenty of lighters thanks." He said and lite his cigarette up.
"Why did I stop?" He muttered to himself and I looked at Rian and Zack.
"See he's gonna fit in well." I said quietly.
Our first lesson was English since I hated this lesson I sat next to Alex so I could speak to him.
He had a TA sat next to him but he really wasn't interested.
"Harry Potter." Alex just said out the blue.
I chuckled a little considering we was learning about Shakespeare and he just says random stuff makes the class more bearable.
"You gonna write this down?" The TA asked Alex.
He nodded and took notes.
"You should do the same Jack." They said to me.
I just rolled my eyes and wrote anything down.
"Why do we have to bloody learn this?" Alex muttered to himself and started to mess with his pen until it flicked of his finger and hit someone in the back of the head.
"Goal." He muttered.
"Was that you Jack!?" The person who was called Callie.
"Nope." I said and looked back at this shitty Romeo and Juliet book.
"Then who was it?" She asked.
"Your mum." Alex said.
Callie just glared at him.
"Take a picture it'll last a lot longer trust me." He said sarcastically.
He wasn't shy like he was yesterday he was slowly coming out his shell and showing himself. Which if I'm being honest I really liked.
Callie just huffed and faced the front again.
"Bitch." He muttered under his breath.
"She's also the school slut as well." I said quietly to him.
"Slut!" He said loudly and I chuckled and Callie turned round and looked at us.
"What did you say?" She challenged.
"Oh I'm sorry did I say something you don't like?" Alex said.
"Alex don't." The TA said.
"You calling me a slut?" Callie challenged.
"By the way you dress? Yes because most of the girls here don't go flashing their clearly fake boobs like you do." He said
What he said was true. Her boobs were clearly fake.
Callie carried on glaring at him.
"You have some sort of staring problem? Stop fucking looking at me!" Alex said.
Callie just turned round and got on with her work.
The TA tried to get Alex to do his work but he was distracted by something and wasn't listening to what she was saying.
It was break and I went looking for Rian and Zack while Alex was tagging along behind me.
I slowled my pace down and walked next to him.
"You clearly don't like her then?" I chuckled.
"She's a bitch. Wouldn't fuck her if anyone paid me to fuck her." He said clearly still pissed off.
I laughed and Alex looked at me confused.
"Never heard anyone say that before. Normally everyone is all over her." I said.
"Well I'm not gonna drool all over her. But would do on the lads here because they are definitely better than the guys back at my old school." He said.
I looked at him.
"Your gay?" I asked.
"Penis." He said and looked at me again.
"Yes. Would of thought you got that." He said.
Now I was confused.
Alex chuckled.
"Your serect is safe with me." He said quietly.
How the fuck did he figure out my serect so quickly? Am I that easy to read or whatever.
We got to Rian and Zack and we went to the school field and hid and started to smoke.
"Shit." Alex just said out of the blue.
We all looked at him.
"Forgot i had a detention so I'll see you guys later." He said and walked off still smoking not giving a shit.
"He knows." I said and looked at Zack and Rian.
"Knows what?" Rian asked.
"I'm gay." I said.
"Your fucking joking right?" Zack asked.
"Nope. He was talking about Callie since he was pissing her off in English and he said he wouldn't fuck her if someone paid him to fuck her. He said the guys here was good looking so I asked he was gay and he said yes and then said I should of got that. Like what the actual fuck." I said and sat down.
"Don't be such a drama queen about it. I'm sure he's not gonna blap about it because if he does we'll just sort him out for you." Zack said.
I smiled.
"Hey, now you have someone to help you get over that bastard you was seeing." Rian said.
I looked at him.
"Come on Jack! We've seen the way you look at him." Zack said and playfully pushed my shoulder.
"And how might that be?" I asked.
"I dunno, but you definitely look at him more than what you should do." Rian said.
"Ah shit Carlile." Zack said and we all threw our cigarettes away and ran.
We was sat in music and Alex was clearly in his element.
"It's a free lesson so do whatever you want." Our teacher said.
I just watched Alex and he got up and headed towards the guitars and got himself on and got his stuff and walked over to the corner and sat down with his back to everyone.
"You should totally go over there." Rian said quietly in my ear.
"Can say exactly the same to you about that girl your seriously crushing on." I said and looked at him.
"Fine. You talk to him and I'll talk to her." Rian said.
"Fine." I said.
"Don't mind me guys you know." Zack said and got some books out.
"As much as we love you Zack but our love lives are more important." Rian said.
"I don't have a crush on him." I grumbled.
"That's what you say." Rian winked and went off.
I sighed and rolled my eyes.
"You should do it Jack." Zack said and got his iPod and earphones out.
"Going to." I muttered and got up and grabbed a guitar and went over to Alex.
He was happily playing the guitar to himself.
It was quite cute to watch really.
"Your good." I said and lent against the wall facing him.
"Jesus you made me jump!" He said and looked at me.
I chuckled and smiled.
"How long you've been playing for?" I asked and quietly played a random tune.
"Since I was 7. My dad taught me." He said but his eyes showed a lot of saddness as he looked down.
"What about you?" He asked and looked at me again.
"Taught myself. Needed something to distract myself." I said quietly and looked down at the guitar.
"I always find going for a walk always helps." He said quietly and whistled.
I looked at him.
"Why don't you speak to you parents about it?" He asked.
"I don't get on with them." I said in a low voice.
"Oh." Alex said and looked down.
"But let's not talk about them, play this for me, I need to see if it sound okay." He said and pushed a tatty looking book towards me.
"I'm not that good." I said and pushed the book back towards him.
"Fine I'll play it but tell me if its shit or whatever." He said and brought thwe book towards him and closed it amd played the guitar.
He was quietly humming to himself as he played and i dont underastand why he would say he was ahit because he really wasnt.
He stopped and looked at me.
"What do you think?" He asked.
"It was really good." I said and Alex looked down and blushed a little.
"What's it called?" I asked and Alex shrugged his shoulders.
"Dunno, haven't even finished it yet, so I'll let you know." He said.
"I'd like that." I smiled.
"Twat." Alex said.
"Thanks for that." I chuckled.
Alex smiled and wrote something on a bit of paper and handed it too me and got up with his stuff.
"Don't lose it." He smiled and walked offandut the guitar back and got his bag an walked out the class.
I looked at the paper.
'Call me :) Alex.' It had a number under it.
I smiled and walked back over to Zack.
"Haven't seen you smile like that for a while." Zack said.
"He gave me his number." I said and put the number in my phone.
"Christ. Is that all we're gonna hear about?" Zack said and looked at me.
"Nope because by the looks of things Rian is gonna be getting laid sooner than what we think." I said.
Zack looked over.
"All we need to do is get you with Alex and my job is done." Zack chuckled.
"I can do that on my own. You need someone." I said.
"I'm good thanks." He said.
We spent the rest of the lesson messing around then we went home.
