Alex's POV
Meeting Zack's family couldn't of gone any worse than what it did.
My tics was literally out of control and I was anxious as hell so it was one big hell hole.
But luckily Zack's mum didn't mind and Josh and Bailey thought it was one big joke and laughed so it wasn't that bad.
Me and Jack walked to school on our own since Zack was taking Josh to his school which was on the other side of town as he went to a different school because he had some sort of problem.
We got to school and everyone just looked at me.
"Why is everyone looking at me?" I asked Jack quietly.
"Because their cunts." Jack said suddenly going all protective over me.
Someone came over and pulled me into a hug.
"I'm so sorry Alex." She said and looked at me and I looked at Jack.
"Cass just give him some space." He said as Rian came over.
"Of course I'm sorry Alex. I'm Cass, Rian's girlfriend." She said.
"Slut." I said out of no where.
She just smiled and she went off to her lessons with Rian following.
"You'll like Cass, she's a good shoulder to cry on and she'll keep your secrets as well." Jack said and I nodded.
I was sat in class miles away the only thing snapping me back to reality was my tics.
There was a knock on the door and everyone looked at the door and the head came in.
I was looking out the window and I just looked out the corner of my eye and saw her walking over to me and stood next to me.
"Can you come to my office please?" She asked quietly.
I just nodded and packed my stuff up and followed her to her office.
We got there and there was 2 police officers.
"I've done nothing wrong." I just said out the blue and everyone looked at me as I hadn't said anything while walking here.
"We know. We just need to talk to you, since you haven't any family your teacher has agreed to sit and listen to what you have to say. Is that okay with you?" The male officer said.
"It has to be since I'm under age and need an adult with me." I said and clapped my hands and jerked my head to the side.
"Alex has tourette's so you'll just have to keep his tics in mind and anything which sounds offensive towards you isn't true." Miss Williams said.
The police officer smiled.
"Would anyone like a drink before we start?" Miss Williams asked.
"We're good thanks love." Another male officer said.
"Alex would you like one?" She asked and looked at me.
I shook my head and kept myself looking at the floor.
"Alex, we need to talk to you about what happened the other day." The officer called Tyler said.
I nodded.
"You going to say what happened." He said.
"I was at school, I didn't know what happened until the police phoned saying that my mum and sister had been beaten up and that my dad was under arrested." I said.
"What's home life like? Has your dad got a violent past?" Tyler asked.
"My dad has a violent past. Home wasn't home. My mum was either drinking or doing drugs as well as going rehab." I said and messed with my hands.
"Where was your father while that was happening with your mother?" The other police officer asked.
"He was at home. Cunt, die in a hole." I said and ran my hand through my hair.
"Its okay, just take you time Alex." Miss Williams said quietly.
"Did he do anything to you or your sister?" Tyler asked carefully.
"I don't want to talk about it." I said.
"Do you want me to get Jack for you?" Miss Williams asked and I nodded and wiped my nose in my sleeve.
"Okay, I'll get someone to get him for you." She said and walked out the room.
I just looked pout the window while the police just talk between themselves and looking at me.
"We need to know what your father did to you and your sister, so he can get sent to prison for a really long time." Tyler said.
"It don't matter anymore. What's done is done and you can't undo the past." I said quietly still looking out the window.
"It does matter Alex, you are a person and you need to have your mind put at ease. You might not be able to undo the past but you can have some closure." Tyler said.
I just stayed quiet and the door opened.
"Alex?" I heard Jack say and I got up and pretty much threw myself at him and hugged him which he returned.
"It's okay." Jack said quietly and rubbed my back with his hand.
"Are you somewhere warm and safe?" Tyler asked.
I pulled away from Jack and nodded.
"Yeah, a friend said that I could stay with him for as long as I need to." I said.
"Okay, if you have anything to say then here's my number and you can just call me." Tyler said and gave me this card which I took.
"If you need to see Alex again then don't hesitate to phone the school." Miss Williams said.
"We won't." Tyler said and him and the other officer walked out the room.
"You two can stay here if you want, you don't have to go back to your lessons if you don't want to." Miss Williams said and I nodded and smiled.
She smiled back and went out the room.
