Little White Lies

Since I walked out on my mum and dad a week ago I was now living with Zack since his family was like my second family and they was more than happy to take me in.
I asked Zacks parents if Alex was allowed to stay and explained briefly that Alex had tourttes and his language was quite bad because it was and I hoped they didn't mind since Zack had a younger brother and sister.
Luckily they said yes and if Erica was going to be okay then she could stay as allowed to stay.
I was messing with Alex's hair when a doctor came in.
"Lex wake up." I said quietly and shook him and Alex woke up and looked around and saw the doctor.
Alex slapped his head and whistled loudly as the doctor walked over.
"Is my sister okay?" Alex asked and the doctor just gave him a blank look and shook his head.
"I'm afraid that there was a computation and there was nothing we could do to save your sister, I'm so sorry for your lost." He said.
"She can't be dead. You said she was going to be okay." Alex said a day looked at me.
"Not everyone can be okay Alex, you know this." I said.
"My fucking family is gone Jack. And it's all thanks to that bastard." Alex shouted at me as tears poured out of his eyes.
"If it makes it any easier for you sir, you can go and say your goodbyes and you can spend as long as you want to with her." The doctor said.
Alex sniffed and looked at the doctor and nodded.
"I want to see her." He said quietly.
"Would you two like to follow me." The doctor said and got up.
"I'm going to give you some space. I'll come and check on you in a bit." I said and Alex smiled and walked out the room.
I had to admit that I was really upset as well as I really liked Erica.
My phone went off and I looked and saw it was Zack phoning me.
"Hey." I sniffed and looked down.
"Is everything okay?" Zack asked.
"Alex will need us more than ever now. He has absolutely no family anymore." I said.
"Well he will do now, since mum said that she is more than happy to have him here to live with us lot since we have plenty off room." Zack said.
"Tell you mum she's an absolute babe." I said.
"She knows Jack." Zack chuckled.
"Anyway I'm going to go and find Alex and see if he coming back with me or not." I said.
"Okay, you know where the key is if the door is locked and remember your room is the basement and don't come up to my room please." Zack said.
"Yes mother." I said and Zack chuckled and hung up.
I went to where Alex was and he was sat on the bed holding Erica close to him and quietly singing to her.
Alex looked up and sniffed loudly and wiped his nose in his sleeve.
"Sleep tight Eric." He said quietly and kissed the top of her head and got off the bed and walked over to me and crashed into my chest and just cried.
"I've got you." I said and kissed the top of his head.
"I got no where to go. It's too cold to be on the streets." Alex said and stood back and we walked out the room.
"Zack said we can stay round his place." I said.
"I can't do that." Alex sniffed.
"His mum and dad said that they are more than happy to have you to stay." I said.
"But what about my tics?" He asked.
"They won't care. But you.might have to be careful as Zack has younger brother and sister." I said and Alex nodded.
"Let's go home and sleep in a proper bed." I said and Alex nodded but not before he looked through the window and turned round and we walked to Zacks in slience.
