Four days later, the gang came back. Jenna was still at Spencer’s when Nina told her that they were at the house. She called about eight that morning. As Jenna was on the phone with her, she noticed that Spencer was no where to be seen. After she hung up with Nina, she walked out of the bedroom and saw a note on the coffee table.

Hey baby, sorry but my boss called me earlier and I have to go in this morning to do inventory at the club. I’ll only be a few hours; I’ll see you when I get back. – Love Spencer.

She smiled lightly and put the note back on the table. She walked back into the bedroom and grabbed some clothes. She took a quick shower and straightened her hair. She got dressed and walked back into the bedroom. She packed her bag and finished just as someone knocked on the door. She sighed and walked back into the living room and to the door. She opened it and was surprised to see Stella there with Blake on her hip.

“Jenna!” Blake shouted.

“Hey Jenna,” Stella smiled, letting herself in.

“Um hey,” she muttered, shutting the door.

“Is Spencer here?” she asked.

“No, he’s at the club doing some inventory. He said he’d be back in a few hours though,” Jenna told her.

“Crap, he was supposed to watch Blake for me. I have to get to work and Charlie’s already at work,” Stella grumbled.

She then looked to Jenna.

“Could you watch him?” she asked.

“What?” Jenna asked.

“Please, can you watch him? I really have to get to work and I have no one else to go to. You said Spencer would be back in a few hours,” Stella pointed out.

“Um yeah, I guess I could watch him,” Jenna muttered.

“Oh my God thank you so much,” Stella sighed in relief.

She set Blake and his bag down. She kissed him goodbye before tightly hugging Jenna.

“Thanks a lot hon. I owe you!” Stella called as she walked out.

Jenna turned back to Blake as he looked up at her.

“Want to play hide and seek?” she smirked.

About two hours, five rounds of hide and seek and one grilled cheese later, a worn out Jenna collapsed on the couch.

“Can you put on Spongebob?” Blake asked.

Jenna nodded and grabbed the remote from on top of the TV. She lay back on the couch and Blake laid next to her. She flipped on Spongebob and before she knew it, she was out like a light and Blake wasn’t too far behind her. Half an hour later, a tired Spencer trudged into the apartment. He was surprised to see Jenna and Blake sleeping on the couch.

“Shit, I was supposed to baby-sit!” he thought.

He looked down at them and smiled lightly as Blake cuddled into Jenna’s side. Jenna stirred and opened her eyes, smiling at him.

“Hey,” she smiled.

“Hey, I’m sorry you had to watch him,” he apologized, kneeling in front of the couch.

“Its fine, we had fun. He already ate,” Jenna told him.

He nodded and picked Blake up, cradling him against his chest. He walked into the bedroom and laid him on the bed, covering him up. He walked back into the living room and saw Jenna flipping through the channels. He sat down next to me and wrapped his arm around her torso. She smiled and hooked her legs over his and kissed him.

“You and Blake looked so cute when you were sleeping,” he smiled.

“He is too cute. We played hide and seek about five times and then I made him so lunch. Then as you can tell, we fell asleep watching Spongebob,” she smiled.

“You’re going to make a great mom someday,” he smiled.

“You think so?” she asked.

“I know so and I hope I get to be a good dad right along with you,” he smiled, kissing her forehead.

Once it got dark out, Jenna headed home. Once there, she got out and walked inside.

“Anyone here?” she called.

“Fuck!” she heard Nina shout loudly.

Jenna walked upstairs and towards Nina’s room. She smirked when she heard Jack shout as well.

“I so got them,” she thought.

“Having fun?” she smirked as she entered Nina’s room.

Nina gasped from on top of Jack and got off of him. She covered herself with the blankets and turned to Jenna with her eyes widened.

“I knew you two were sleeping together!” Jenna laughed.

“How long have you known?” Nina laughed.

“That time we went to the beach and I got into a fight with Sabrina. I noticed the hickeys,” Jenna smirked.

“So what are the chances of you not telling anyone?” Jack smiled sheepishly.

“Don’t worry; I’m not going to tell. So how long have you two been sleeping together?” Jenna asked.

“Like two months after she started working for me,” Jack smirked.

“That was three years ago!” Jenna laughed.

“We couldn’t tell anyone because he’s my boss!” Nina laughed.

“Well I suggest that you guys hide it better,” Jenna smirked, walking out.

She walked back downstairs and saw everyone, excluding Sabrina, in the living room.

“Ya’ll are so fucking quiet!” she yelled.

“Hi honey!” Mandy smiled jumping up and hugging the life out of Jenna.

Sophie stayed where she was while Zack and Rian hugged her.

“What, no hug Alex?” Jenna smiled.

Alex hesitantly got up and walked over to her. He lightly hugged her.

“Congratulations,” she whispered.

“Uh, thanks,” he muttered.

“We need to talk,” Mandy said, pulling on Jenna’s wrist.

She led them into the kitchen.

“Are you okay?” she asked.

“Yeah, why wouldn’t I be?” Jenna asked.

“Because you like Alex and he’s engaged to Sabrina?” Mandy stated, more like questioned.

“I realized that Alex is happy and I need to get over him. I’m going to be happy with Spencer and just forget everything that happened,” Jenna shrugged.

“Are you sure that’s a good idea?” Mandy asked.

“Pretty sure,” Jenna nodded.

“Well I’m proud of you honey,” Mandy smiled, hugging her.

“Where’s Nina and Jack?” she asked.

“Nina’s unpacking and Jack’s taking a little nap,” Jenna lied.

About half an hour later, everyone migrated outside. They all sat around the fire pit, drinking.

“You cold?” Alex asked Jenna as he sat next to her.

“A little,” she shuddered.

He laughed lightly and shrugged off his hoody, handing it to her.

“Thanks,” she smiled lightly, pulling the hoody on.

“Can I talk to you for a second?” he asked.

Jenna nodded and followed him onto the back patio.

“What happened?” he asked.

“Excuse me?” she asked.

“We were fighting like crazy before and now you’re okay with everything,” he muttered.

“I just realized you’re happy with Sabrina and its none of my business,” she shrugged.

Alex nodded.

“You are happy with her; right?” Jenna asked.

“I honestly don’t know,” he muttered.

“You don’t know?” she questioned.

“What if I told you that I’m only with Sabrina because I’m trying to get over another girl?” he asked, scooting his chair closer to hers.

“Then I’d tell you that instead of being unhappy, you should tell the girl how you feel,” Jenna shrugged.

“What if I showed her?” he muttered.

“Maybe that’s even better,” she laughed lightly.

Alex licked his lips before slowly leaning in. He captured Jenna’s lips with his and he smiled lightly when she kissed him back. The moment ended too soon though when she pushed him away.

“Alex you’re engaged,” she muttered.

“I can break it off,” he told her.

“No, this isn’t supposed to be like this. You’re supposed to be happy with Sabrina and I’m supposed to be happy with Spencer,” she whined.

“But we can be happier together!” Alex said, grabbing her hands.

“I can’t do this Alex,” Jenna muttered on the verge of tears.

She got up and stormed in the house, not even bothering to look back.
