Knots in the Ties
Alex is Saved
I started looking around for my love. Whenever, I’d see a guard, I’d hide myself in whatever light I could find. This was a lot harder than I thought though. I may have had a map in my head, but the place was like a maze.
I came to a fork in the hallway. I tried to think of the map, but it was no help at all. Suddenly I heard a soft whimper. I started down the path that the sound had come from. It led me to a chamber door with a large lock on it. Since magick was my specialty, I created a spell in my head that would unlock it. After softly mumbling ancient words that I never thought I knew, the door opened.
I stepped inside and saw Alex. He was chained to a wall, and he was covered in cuts. I ran over to him and started to undo his binding.
“Jack?” Alex whispered. “What are you doing here?”
“I’m here to get you out of here.”
“But what if they find you? They’ll kill you on the spot.”
“I had to come and get you. I was the only one that would be able to get you out.”
“Jack?”
“Yeah?”
“I know what they want with me.”
“I think I hear someone. Tell me when we’re back with our guardians.”
“Ok.”
I quickly undid his bindings, but right when I had, I heard some kind of creature making their way towards me. Alex looked at me with wide eyes. He probably knew what it was, and it was not good.
“Alex, I need to to tap into your magick. I know that your specialty is fighting, but we’re going to have to work together if we want to teleport out of here without leaving a anything that could be traced to where we went.”
“I don’t know if I can, Jack.”
“Please try for me.”
“Ok.”
I took Alex’s hand in mine and started to chant what came to my head, soon Alex was doing the same thing. White light and darkness started to swirl around us. I closed my eyes when I heard the door open and the creature roar.
When I opened my eyes, Alex and I were in an opening in the trees. I looked around but didn’t see Luna or Cymbeline. I was about to go look for them, but Alex took ahold of me and held me close. I didn’t need to question his reasons, so I held him back and kissed his forehead.
“We have to go look for them,” I told him softly.
“I know. I just needed to feel you against me again.”
“Same.”
I gave him a quick kiss on the lips before started off in the direction of the trees with his hand in mine. It felt like we had been searching for hours, and we still hadn’t found them. I was beginning to doubt that we would be able to find them before the sun went down.
“Jack?”
“Since we haven’t found them yet and there are no demons around us, can I tell you what I was going to?”
“Go ahead.”
“The reason why they wanted me so much was because I’m the vessel for the darkness.”
“What do you mean? I thought that...”
“Luna wasn’t informed correctly. The darkness that will destroy the world is not in me at all, and the light that can save it is not in you either. It has to be planted in us, but the spell that my former life put on us prevents that. They’re going to summon it will my blood. It won’t have all of my power, but it’ll be really strong. We’re going to be the only ones that can stop it.”
“When are they going to do this?”
“They already have. I heard them talking about how they are just giving it more blood to make it stronger before they unleash it on the world. We have to stop it before it reaches it’s full power.”
“How long do we have?”
“I don’t know.”
“Do you think that Luna and Cymbeline can find out?”
“I heard them talking about some kind of book. I think that the council might have it.”
“Do you think that Luna and Cymbeline will take us back there?”
“If they don’t, we can just go by ourselves.”
“Ok.”
It didn’t take that much longer for us to finally find the sisters. They ran over to us.
“You guys are ok,” Luna said. “We were worried. I mean, we can feel your presence, but if something happened, the demons could have used some kind of spell.”
“Luna.”
“Yeah, Alex.”
“Can you take us to the council?”
“Why?”
“The demons were talking about a book. We need that book if we want to stop the darkness.”
“Wait, what?” Alex told them everything that he heard them say. “So, everything the council told us was wrong?”
“Yeah.”
“Why would they tell us that?”
“I think that they wanted didn’t want anyone to know that all it took was Alex’s blood. If any of this got out, do you know how scared everyone would be?” Jack said.
“I guess you’re right. I’ll take you to the council now.”
And with that, we were teleported out of the forest.

@JagkBaraSlut
I might. I'm busy right now with school which is why all of my stories are really late. I don't like the fact that I didn't finish the sequel, but I want to rewrite this. I'll put this with the other stories that I want to write for the summer.
