How Demons Were Created
I woke up to find my arms around Jack, so we were spooning. He started to move a little bit and then turned around to face me. I was expecting to say “morning”, but he didn’t. He just gave me a goofy smile before kissing me softly on the lips. It was short and so was the one that he gave me on the nose right after it.
“I’d love to just snuggle with you all day, but we should probably get up,” I told Jack. “Luna will probably want to leave right after we’re all up.”
Jack nodded before getting up and starting to put his clothes on. I did the same. I knew that Jack wanted to get a shower as much as me, but we both knew that it would take too long. Our thoughts were confirmed when Luna was coming in right after we put our shirts on. We knew what she wanted, so we grabbed some of her stuff that she couldn’t carry and started following her.
We had no car, so Luna had us walk away from the road. Luna led us through different allies. I really didn’t know what she was doing, but she seemed to be looking for something. I figured that now would be the best time to ask her what had been on my mind.
“Can I ask you something?” Luna nodded as she continued to look around with us close behind. “I was wondering why you song that song after the demon died.”
“Did you understand any of it?”
“Yeah, you sung about how the demon was once apart of you and was taken into the darkness against his will.”
“Well, he was once with me. All demons were once on my side.”
“If they were on your side, why are they attacking us now?”
“It’s a long story.”
“We have time. It looks like all you're doing is looking for something. Why don’t you tell us as you do that?”
“I guess I could. Actually, what I’m looking for might not appear ‘til later, so I’ll just show you what happened.”
“How?”
“Like this.” She played her hands on Jack and I. i could hear and see the story unravel in my mind.
Humans have always believed in demons and angels of some kind. Christian lore is wrong though. Demons were never the same as the angels that people think of. Demons were in fact angels, but they were a different kind. Demons were once known as the angels of the moon. They gained their power from the moon the same way as angels as the sun gain their power from the sun. It had been like that for a long time.
When man was born, the evil side of the darkness decided that it’s best chance at gaining more power was to warp the minds of the angels of the moon after this event. At the time, they had been saddened that the humans slept during their time. The darkness took form of an angel and started to whisper lies in their ears. For each lie spoken, it would secretly tighten its grip on the angels.
On the night of a new moon when the darkness had a grip on all the angels, it finally took them over. Darkness filled their minds and bodies, turning their beautiful bodies into monstrous ones. Their thoughts of magick and music turned into ones of destruction and chaos. The angels of the sun wanted to help them, but it was already too late.
When the light and darkness was born into human form, they just had to get the darkness. They craved it like a drug. That is why they first captured the darkness and why they are still doing it to this day.
Luckily, humans started to get into magick at the same time all the angels of the moon became demons. They were recruited to serve the moon as it’s new form of warriors. Of course, there was more than the sun now. The angels of the sun were stronger, and that is why the moon needed so many humans to give up their humanity.
Sadly, the demons did the same thing. They are the ones that made vampires and werewolves and other beings like this. They are the ones that used darkness to corrupt the weaker of the moon’s warriors to create warlocks. If the moon was going to use humans, they would too.
That is how everything is into place right now. That is how their are only angels of the sun and how there are demons and how their are creatures that were once human. Everything was changed because of the darkness.
“So is it all my fault?” I questioned.
Luna shook her head. “No. The thing about darkness is that it can be a good thing or a bad thing. The world needs to have darkness, but sometimes the darkness wants more. You are a different being than the darkness that took away all of my warriors. You are the darkness that the world needs. You are the darkness that I get my power from. It may seem confusing.”
“It is.”
“Look at it like this. There are two of you inside one body. There is one that is kind, that is you. Then there is a cruel you that will do anything for power and amusement. That is how the demons were able to change Alexander to kill Jack those many years ago.”
“Also like having multi-personality disorder, but the other side is real?”
“Pretty much.”
“What are you looking for anyway?”
“Well, it was suppose to appear here at... Oh. I read my watch wrong. I’m trying to not use magick so they can’t track us. Well, it should be appearing about...now.” All of a sudden a magick portal appeared out of nowhere. It was a yellow color with swirls of orange in it as well.
“What is that?” Jack questioned. “Did Cymbeline send it? It feels like her.”
“It seems like we have to get there faster than I thought. She sent this.”
“Where does it go?”
“Closer to our destination.” Luna grabbed our wrists and pulled us in.

I might. I'm busy right now with school which is why all of my stories are really late. I don't like the fact that I didn't finish the sequel, but I want to rewrite this. I'll put this with the other stories that I want to write for the summer.
