Kaiya drove home in silence. Wondering what she'd be coming home to. It had been a few weeks since she walked into their apartment hungover after hanging out with the boys of All Time Low. And ever since that morning, Annika had been trying to make it up to her. She knew Annika meant well, but last week, meaning well meant trying to set her up on a date. And after her last relationship with Ryan, she wasn't quite ready for another relationship. She shook her head in disgust remembering Annika's smile and how she left the apartment thinking the two would hit it off and run straight to the bedroom. "Well here goes nothing," She mumbled as she pulled into a parking space in the lot. She turned off her Honda and gathered her bag and other things. She grabbed her water bottle and slowly made her way up to her apartment. She let herself in and thought she was safe until she heard Annika run from the bathroom to her room. "Damn."

"Kaiya, you're home! I forgot you had an early shift today. Let's go to a bar tonight. I'll buy," Kaiya was about to say no when she saw the pleading look in Annika's eyes. She felt worse when she noticed that Annika looked like she hadn't slept well in awhile. "Please," Her voice came out in a soft, slightly broken whisper. Kaiya couldn't find it in her to say no, so she swallowed the lump in her throat and nodded. "Yay, now that you seem less mad, I can tell you about what happened at that concert," Annika cheered. Her green eyes sparkling as she clapped her hands together. Kaiya raised her eyebrow at Annika, whatever she could say couldn't top what had happened to Kaiya that night.

"Well let's hear it," Kaiya told her as she started putting her things away. She frowned when Annika didn't say anything. She looked up and saw that Annika was waiting patiently for her to finish. This thing that happened must have been pretty big. She finished emptying her bag out and went to put her water in the fridge. She came back out to the living room and sat on the chair and stared at Annika.

"Alright... So I liked him before," Annika smiled bashfully and only spoke his name when she saw Kaiya looked really confused. "Jack from All Time Low. I've always thought he was cute. Anyways, we're soul mates," She squealed leaving Kaiya more confused. Kaiya had never heard her fall off the rocker like that before.

"How are you soul mates?" She thought back to her time with the guys and didn't remember Jack saying anything about wanting a girl from the audience.

"Well it was between songs. And he looked out over the crowd. Our eyes met," She let out a soft, happy sigh. "And he held my gaze for a couple minutes longer than anywhere else," Her smile was overly giddy. Kaiya resisted the urge to roll her eyes. "We're gonna be together some day."

"This is what's had you humming and singing recently?" Kaiya tried to keep the laughter out of her voice. "I'm sorry I was so mad. I wish I could have heard this sooner," She was about to laugh at Annika when she felt her phone vibrate in her pocket. Speak of the devil. She ended up laughing when she saw the text from Jack. She looked up to see a hurt look on Annika's face and laughed harder. "It's...It's not...Not you," She managed in between breathes. "It's the text I just got. I swear," Annika nodded but still looked skeptical. Kaiya took the moment to glance down and actually read the text. Wanna hang out next time we're in NY? We will be back in a couple of weeks to do another concert and should be in town for a week or so.

She smiled and sent a text saying just tell her when and where and she'd be there. She felt herself start laughing again when she remembered the look on Keira's face when she had told her about meeting them. Her coworker almost didn't believe her until she proved it with the picture Rian had taken of her, Alex and Jack passed out on the couch. "So when are we going out?" Annika gave a time and Kaiya made her way to her room to stay there until she wanted to go. She ended up taking a nap for a couple of hours, she wasn't too surprised when Annika came in to wake her up half an hour before she wanted to be at the bar of club they would be drinking at.

Kaiya pulled on jeans and a t-shirt. When Annika went to say something, Kaiya held her hand up. "Not a word. If you're nice to me, I have a surprise for you in a couple of weeks," Kaiya sent a quick text to Alex asking if it would be okay to bring her friend. She mentioned that her friend was a fan and would probably freak out a little bit but she felt bad keeping the secret from her. She smiled when she got the response from Alex. That was settled, the next time she saw All Time Low, her best friend would be with her.
