"I want to be your lost boy."
Dawn’s POV
“Let’s get married!” Jack exclaimed.
“What?” I questioned.
“I think we should get married.” This time he was kind of quiet.
“Are you serious? You want us to get married?” He nodded. I smiled. “I think we should too.”
“Really?” A shocked expression covered his face.
“Did you really think that I wouldn’t want to marry you? I just wasn’t sure if you wanted to marry me, so I didn’t bring it up.”
“I wasn’t sure why I didn’t bring it up before. Some fans had asked me why I hadn’t asked yet, and I didn’t know why. It just never came to mind.”
“I’m glad that you brought it up now.”
“Yay!” my fans in front of me were saying before they started giggling.
“When are you two going to get married?” the tall brunette one asked.
“That depends,” Jack said. He turned to me. “Do you want to get married before or after the baby is born?”
“It doesn’t matter. I don’t even care if we have a wedding.”
“You don’t?”
“If we did, it would have to be my way. I seriously don’t care though.”
“Can we have a wedding?”
“Do you want one?”
“Yeah.”
“Then we can have one.”
“You’re going to be the prettiest bride,” one of the girls told me.
“I think that you two should get married after you have the baby,” another girl said.
“I think so too,” I agreed.
“I still can’t believe that I’m going to marry my dream girl,” Jack said as he wrapped his arms around me.
“Believe it. Can we go to the bus now? I’m hungry.”
“Of course.”
“I had you have a good time at our show later,” I smiled at the fans.
“We will,” they said back before walking away.
I took Jack’s hand and went to my bus with him. Once inside, I went straight to the refrigerator. I took out lettuce, creamy italian dressing, and ranch dressing. I then grabbed a banana. I put the already washed lettuce on the plate, cut up the banana, and covered it with both dressings. After this, I grabbed a fork out of the drawer and went to sit down on Jack who was sitting next to Alex on the couch.
“It looks like the weird cravings have already started,” Alex said. I gave him a puzzled look, so he pointed to my plate.
“This isn’t weird. This is how I eat my salad all the time.”
“Really?”
“Yeah, it’s really good. You should try it sometime. Jack, do you want a bite?”
“Sure.” He opened his mouth and I put a some in his mouth with my fork. “It’s actually not that bad.”
“I said that it wasn’t weird.”
“Before I forget,” Jack started, “Alex, will you be my best man?”
“You two are getting married!?” he exclaimed. I nodded. “Congratulations!”
“So are you going to be my best man?”
“Of course I fucking am!” He gave us both a hug at the same time.
“What are you so happy about?” Zack asked as him and everyone else walked in.
“Jack and I are getting married,” I smiled.
Zack’s mouth fell open before he started grinning and jumping up and down like an idiot. “Oh my God! This is so fucking amazing!”
“Damn it,” Care said. “I can’t believe that I’m going to have this idiot for a brother-in-law.” She smirked letting me know that she was joking. “I’m guessing that I’m going to be the maid of honor?”
“Of course you are,” I told her.
“When are you going to have the wedding?”
“After the baby.”
“Makes sense.”
“I just can’t wait. I’m going to go write a song about what I’m feeling.” I ran off to my bunk with Jack with me, and then we started to write a song together.
We were now on stage performing our song together. Right after we were done, Jack put his hand on my stomach and screamed into the microphone, “My baby is in here!” He gave me a kiss on the lips before continuing. “I also want you all to know that I’m going to marry this girl!” The fans started to cheer loudly.
“We’re going to get married after the baby is born. The next time we will be touring here, we will be a happily wedded couple!”
The meet-and-greet went very smoothly. A lot of our fans asked what we planned on naming it. After telling them, they would “awww”. It gave me a warm feeling inside and put a smile to my face. Jack took my hand and led me to my bus after it was over. We planned on watching a movie together because everyone else was going to be over on the All Time Low bus. I was led to the back lounge and brought over to the couch. Jack sat down, and I sat on his lap after grabbing the remote.
“I already put a movie in earlier,” Jack told me.
I nodded before turning everything on. “Home Alone?”
“I’m going to get our baby hooked on it. They are just going to be begging us to watch it.”
“I wanted to talk while we watched the movie, but you picked this out, so I think we should talk now.”
“About what?”
“I wanted to talk a little bit about our wedding.”
“Ok.”
“Do you want it to be big or small?”
“Small.”
“Same. Do you want it to be indoors or outdoors?”
“Doesn’t matter. I guess outdoors because I know you’ll like that.”
“I do. Are we going to write our own vows?”
“I would like to.”
“Ok we can. I was also thinking that we should perform at our reception.”
“That would be cool. We should have alcohol.”
“Of course.”
“Can we start the movie now? I want our baby to love this movie as soon as possible.”
I laughed. “Alright.” I pressed play and put the remote down. Jack’s arms were around me, and my head rested on his neck. I never want to forget the moments like this. This is the reason that I want to live my life as long as I can. I want to always be in Jack’s arms. He makes me feel safe. I placed my hands on my stomach and remembered something very important. “Jack?”
“Yeah baby?”
“When are we going to tell our parents?”
