Begin Again
When I woke up this morning I realized I was in Zack’s arms. This made me smile just because it was the perfect end to the most successful night of cheering up I think I ever have had. As I look up at him I have to admit that he is so freaking adorable when he sleeps. I am also trying to figure out how to get up so I can go pee. I could either wake him up or slowly squirm my way out of his arms. Neither seemed feasible as I thought logistics of course so I decided I would try the latter of the two options.
As I slowly make my way out of Zack’s arms I feel his grip get tighter around my waist. I look to his face and see his eyes closed but a smirk on his face so I decide to say, “good morning sleepy head : )”
“Good morning, beautiful” he replied groggily.
“Is there any way I can get out of your arms. I really have to pee,” I said and he laughed.
“Oh I suppose we can make a deal with that one. Maybe you should shower too cuz you stink ; )”
“Like you should talk Zacky!” I retorted.
After our little argument I decided to take Zack’s advice and shower. I have to get this sand off of my body after all.
Zack's POV
After Finlee headed to the shower I decided I probably should call everyone to tell them she is safe and everything.
“Hello?” Charlotte said groggily.
“Hey Char, it’s Zack. Is everyone near you?”
“They are in the front lounge. Do you need me to go up there and put my phone on speaker?”
“Yeah that would be great.” I replied.
“Okay, hold on,” she said as she got up. “Guys Zack wants to talk to everyone.” I then heard her say as she went to the front lounge. As she put the phone on speaker I heard quite I few “hi Zacky” come from the guys.
“Hey guys. I just wanted to tell you guys I found Finlee. She is okay, she just got overwhelmed with trying to impress everyone and try to live her life at the same time.”
“That’s good Zack, but have you kissed her yet?!” I heard Rian say.
“Why the hell would I kiss her? We are just friends you guys and that is what she needs right now. I am hoping that we can meet up with you guys tomorrow if she is up for it so I suggest everyone suck up to the girl via text today.”
Finlee's POV
As I am stepping out of the shower I hear Zack on the phone. I decide to eavesdrop since I was curious of who the heck he would be talking to and I hear him saying, “Why the hell would I kiss her? We are just friends you guys and that is what she needs right now. I am hoping that we can meet up with you guys tomorrow if she is up for it so I suggest everyone suck up to the girl via text today.”
Hearing this made me smile from ear to ear. It’s nice knowing that there is someone who I can count on to stick up for me. I then decide it is time for me to make my presence known so that I can 1. Get out of this towel and 2. Get this day going.
As I walk out Zack turns to me and says into the phone, “Finlee is out of the shower so I have to go. I will text you guys later.”
“So what are we going to do today Merrick?”
“Hmm I think we should start with some coffee and then go from there.”
“Coffee sounds awesome! Then can we go to the orphanage that I think I was brought to and see if they have any information on my family?”
“I like that plan : )”
With that Zack got ready and we made our way to the café down the street for some much needed caffeine. When we made it to the café we got in line to order our drinks. I went first and ordered my normal a white snickers mocha. When I went to pay I saw Zack’s hand stop me and announce, “I’m paying so don’t even try Ms. Rayne.” I wanted to argue with him but I knew it was useless.
After we got our drinks we walk over to an open table where Zack pulls out my chair for me. Have I ever mention he is one of the sweetest guys EVER. And that smile of his is quite awesome also. To: Finlee

Zack's POV
Watching this girl smile is making this trip worthwhile. I just hope after we go to this orphanage that she will still be smiling and that I won’t have to cheer her up yet again. I mean I love cheering her up but I also want to be back on tour with the rest of our friends.
“You ready to go Fin?”
“Yeah. It’s now or never, right?”
“Let’s do this. It looks like it’s about a 10 minute walk there,” I replied.
When we got there Finlee stopped in her tracks. I could see panic across her face as we got to the steps of the orphanage. “Finlee, I am right here and will be here for you the whole time,” I told her as I grabbed her right hand.
“I know, I am just terrified they won’t have anything. What if this is yet another dead end in my search? I don’t know if I can handle it.”
I then told her, “Babe, even if it’s a dead end we will figure out a way to find them one day soon.”
After I said this we made our way inside the orphanage to talk to the head master.
“Hello there. How can I help you two younguns?” the headmaster greeted.
“Hi, um, my name is Finlee and I think my parents dropped me off here when I was a baby and I wanted to know if you had any information…” Finlee began to ramble.
“Oh I remember you. Let me go see if I have anything in my records sweetheart. Wait here for me.” She replied.
“Thanks.”
It felt like we were waiting in this lady’s office for what seemed like an eternity. It probably was only about 5 minutes when she walked out with a piece of paper. “This is the only thing in your file, I am so sorry.” She then proceeded to hand Finlee the paper.
Finlee's POV
After the headmaster handed me the paper we made our way out of the orphanage. These places have always given me the creeps. Once we were outside I decided to look at the paper. All the paper had on it was: Fisher Steven Zaitz
10/30/85 Both Zack and I did not know what to do with this information right off the bat. So I just stuck the piece of paper in my bag.
