Stereotypes.

Part Four.

Alex half awake rolled over in his large bed to use to it being empty but was fully woken by a small yelp, sitting bolt upright Alex turned on the lamp next to his bed and found Jack lying curled into a small ball. Earlier that day flashed back through his head, Jack crying, both of them telling each other things no one else knew, watching all the Batman DVDs he owned and Alex was pretty sure he fell asleep somewhere through The Dark Knight. Getting up he smiled at Jack he looked so young , his black hair with its blonde streaks falling into his massive closed eyes, his hood half hiding his face as he slept and how the boy had a half smile on his lips. Alex walked silently down the long hall and knew that no one was in but he always checked whenever he woke up, just in case by some miracle his parents wanted to be in the same house as him. Knowing that it was only him and Jack he went and locked the front and back doors then returned to his room where Jack hadn’t even moved an inch, seeing as it was nearing 12 he decided to let Jack stay. Also Alex couldn’t deny he loved the company and he may have started to have feelings for the boy beside him, so removing his bracelets then getting under his covers Alex fell back asleep. Alex woke later that day thankful that the school was taking a long break plus it also meant Jack would be around more since they had that presentation to finish off, checking his phone while shoving on a tank top and black skinnys he made his way down the stairs. He hoped Jack hadn’t woke up and just left without saying anything but all doubts vanished from his head when he heard a bang from the kitchen, Alex took one glimpse of the kitchen and burst out laughing.“Wow Jack what are you doing?” Alex asked still half laughing as Jack stood there covered in flour blushing.“I was hungry and I didn’t want to wake you up” He said still trying to make some sort of pancake/waffle, Alex shook his head.“Wake me up in future because I don’t think Kathy will appreciate the kitchen looking like the North Pole” Alex said as Jack just smiled and put back everything he had brought out and when he turned back he was still smiling like an idiot.“What are you smiling about?” Alex asked as they went back up to his room“You said to wake you up in the future” Jack blushed sending a quick text to someone,“Well yeah, eh, I just. Oh shut up” He said laughing and gave Jack a light shove as he lay down on the bed next to him, the two boys stayed like that for a while just enjoying the silence until Alex’s phone started playing Blink.“Hello” Alex said sitting on the edge of his bed and that's when Jack got a devilish idea, sneaking next to Alex he waited for his chance."Dude I can't, because I have stuff to do. Just stuff Rian please I, oh my god stop! Ahh!" Alex started laughing as Jack tickled him, trying to hang up and get Jack off him was harder than people would think. Once he hung up to Rian, Alex flung his phone and pounced on Jack managing to use his weight against the lanky kid not that it took much effort."No Alex please I'm sorry! S-STOP!" Jack said through laughter his legs trying to kick Alex to stop him."Only if you promise not to do that ever again" Alex said smiling cheekily and Jack nodded fast just wanting to get out from under Alex, after he got off Jack he watched as the boy pretended to be gasping for air."Hey I'm not that heavy!" Alex said smacking Jack with a pillow."Watch or it will turn into a pillow fight" Jack said smirking as Alex threw down the pillow, he wasn't ready for his room to end up in a total state."Alex you in?" Both boys heard Kathy call from the front door and Alex wondered why she was here, Kathy didn't turn up until around five and it was just leaving one."Yeah I'll be down in a minute!" He called back and saw that Jack was picking up his bag while shuffling on his shoes, Alex heart dropped he didn't want Jack to leave now."Where you going?" He asked and Jack shook his head."Home. I need food, a shower, clean clothes and explain why I wasn't home last night" Jack said as the two boys walked down the stairs, Alex just nodded still disappointed he was leaving since he didn't mind Jack using his shower or borrowing a pair of jeans."Ok I'll see you soon" Alex said giving Jack a hug which they both knew lasted longer than necessary."See you soon" Jack called as he half ran down Alex's driveway and turned down the street, Alex stayed by the door until he couldn't see Jack's blonde streaked hair any longer. Waving a 'hi' to Kathy he made his way quickly up the stairs and text Rian telling him to pick him up in an hour, Alex knew he shouldn't be going to this party because he does stupid things but Jack was messing with his head and he needed out for a while. Alex also knew he couldn't stop hanging out with the guys in his team, they may not be smart but there not that stupid to realise something was up. A car sounded an hour later and Alex took one last look at himself, black skinnys and a tight red top with his blonde hair in its usual messy way, grabbing his phone he ran out to the car to find Rian, Zack and Matt waiting for him."Let's get going!" Zack whooped from the back of the car and Rian drove off towards the party, Alex knew he should be looking forward to this but all he could think about was Jack and what his mom might do to him. He tried his hardest to push Jack out his head and just focus on tonight.
