Jet Pack Blues

Seth's POV

Tyler knocked on the door and I let him in.
"You do not know how glad i am too see you face right now." He said as he walked in the door.
"It's fine, what happened?" I asked.
"Don't want to talk about it Seth." He said quietly and sat on the sofa.
"Where your dad's I have to say thanks for letting me crash here until it dies down ." He said.
"Their in bed." I said and he got up.
"But I wouldn't go up to their room right now." I said.
He looked at me.
"Suggest you listen as they are probably at it or something, but their probably have some down time since Aidan is being a bitch." Riley said.
Tyler looked at him.
"He's all yours." He said and went up stairs and went to his room.

"What happened Ty?" I asked and sat next to him.
"Don't want to talk about it Seth." He said quietly.
"But you have to Ty, because keeping to yourself isn't gonna help." I said.
"I don't want to talk about it now. Right now I just want my friend to be here for me." He whispered.
"I'm always here for you." I said quietly and pulled him into a hug.
We stayed like this for a while.
"Grab your borad we're going out." I said and got up and went to my room and grabbed my stakeboard, keys, phone, money and a bag and threw my shit in there.
Riley looked at me.
"Where you going?" He asked.
"Going for a roll, wanna join?" I said.
"Na, I have food and movies to eat and watch." He said.
"If we're not back by morning tell dad where I am, but I'm gonna text him now anyway." I said.
"Will do." He said and went to his room.

I went downstairs and Tyler was waiting for me.
"Riley not coming?" He asked as Riley never turned down going out on the stakeboard.
"Na, think he's overworked himself at school." I said.
"What about Aidan?" He asked.
"She's grounded." I said trying not to laugh.
"Shit." He said and we walked out the door and went off round town.

We got to McDonald's which was on the other side of town.
"What you want?" I asked as I messed around in the car park.
"The normal." He said.
"Cool, wanna try going through the drive thru?" I asked and made my way through the drive thru.
But it was short lived when i was told to go inside and order the food.
"Tyler where are you?" I said and i staked round the car park looking for him.
I felt someone grab my hand.
I looked at saw Tyler beside me.
"Im straving." He said.
"Well turn round then and then we can get food." I said and we went back towards McDonalds.

We was sat eating and we was the only ones in the place which was normal since it was 2 in the morning.
"Arent your dads worried?" He asked as he pig out on his chips.
"Na, they know that if im not in the house than im either here, or coursing trouble round town or staking round the place." I said.
"Alright for some." He said quietly.
"Your mum being a proper control freak then?" I asked and stuffed loads of chips in my mouth.
"She's proper losing her shit right now. Think it's better if I stay away for a while." He said and looked at me.
"Dad doesn't mind as long as you don't eat the food in the house and you don't try hitting on Aid and you don't hurt Rowan." I said.
"Why would I hurt Rowan? He's a sweetheart. Hitting on Aidan, there's only one person I'm trying to hit on. No its not your brother no offensive but he's a little odd." He said.
I laughed.
"It's not his fault for being odd. Oh tell me who your trying to hit on." I said.
"I'm not saying." He smiled.
"No, your telling me, come on we haven't been friends for nearly 10 years for you not to tell me who it is." I said.
"I'm not saying." He said again.
"I'll get it out of you somehow." I said.
"Good luck with that." He said.

By the time we got home it was 6 in the morning and pa was up getting himself or dad a drink.
"Where have you been?" He yawned.
"Staking around the place, pigging out at McDonald's." I said.
"Good times." He muttered and got the mugs and went upstairs.
"I'm going to bed." Tyler said and went over to the sofa.
'Wouldn't recommend sleeping on the sofa, since Rowan will be up soon." I said.
"Then where do I sleep then?" He asked.
"In my room." I said and looked down.
"On the floor or in the bed?" He asked.
"Well considering I have a double bed in a small room you'll have to sleep in the bed." I said.
"Fine, but no funny business." He said.
"Can say the same thing to you." I said and we went upstairs.

We got to my room and Tyler just crashed on my bed.
I chuckled and picked him up so he was the right end of the bed.
I put a DVD on and went to bed and watched the film.
I was slowly falling asleep when I felt Tyler roll over and cuddled into my back.
I smiled and slowly fell asleep.
But Rowan had other ideas.
I heard my door open.
"Seth?" He said quietly
"Go and annoy Riley Rowan, I've just gotten in and I'm ttired." I muttered.
"Okay." He whispered and walked out the room and shut the door behind him.
"Do I have to put up with that?" Tyler asked.
"Sadly." I muttered.
"Oh yay." He sighed and was fast asleep again.
Not long after that I fell asleep as well.
