Jet Pack Blues

Alex's POV

I heard Jacks alarm go off and our bedroom door opening.
"Dada." A little voice said and ran over and pulled on my arm.
"What Rowan?" I mumbled and picked him up and sat him between me and Jack.
"Breakfast, school." He said and pointed round the room.
"Seth, Riley and Aidan have school your suck home with me I'm afraid." I said and looked over to Jack who was still asleep.
"Wake da up for me will you." I said quietly and he went over to Jack and jumped on him.
"Wake up da." Rowan said loudly and jumped on Jack.
"I'm up, I'm up." Jack muttered and sat up.
"Go downstairs and see if Seth, Ri and Aid are up." I said to Rowan and he got of the bed and carefully went downstairs.
"As much as I love him I love sleep more." Jack mumbled and got out of bed.
"More than you love me." I said and go out of bed and followed him to the bathroom.
"Debatable." He said and kissed me.
"So, you going to get the gang up?" I asked.
"Was going to leave it for you and Rowan to do since you both do a good job." He said.
I glared at him.
"Fine but your doing breakfast and taking them to school as I don't see Aidan walking in the rain." I said.
"Can tell she's the woman compared to having a house full of men." He chuckled.
"Can't help feel sorry for her." I said and walked out the room and pulled a pair of pajamas bottoms on and went downstairs to start getting everyone up.

"Seth get up before I send the big guns in." I said and banged on his door and opened the door.
He snorted and looked at me.
"The fuck man." He grumbled.
"Get up, your going to school." I said.
"Fuck that shit." He muttered and pulled the covers over his head.
"If your not up in half an hour I'll send Rowan in and he won't leave until you are up." I said and walked off and left the door open.
A few seconds later the door slammed shut.
"Riley get up." I said and opened the door and turned his light on.
"I'm up." He muttered and rolled out of bed.
I turned round and saw Aidan making her way to the bathroom before the boys get in there.
"Morning dad." She said as she tied her hair up.
"Morning Aid." I said and looked for Rowan.
"You seen Rowan?" I asked her.
"He's in my room messing around with the dog." She said as she shut the bathroom door.
I went over to her room and looked round the door.
"You gonna help da with breakfast?" I asked.
He came running out with the dog running after him.
"Careful." I said as Rowan ran into Riley.
"Careful little man." He chuckled and picked him up and walked downstairs with Rowan babbling in his ear.
Aidan came out and went downstairs and Jack came down from our room.

I got downstairs and everyone was making their breakfast and Rowan was in his highchair.
"Where's Seth?" Riley asked.
"Where'd you think?" I said and made myself a coffee.
Jack came down and stole my coffee.
"Stop stealing my bloody food and drink!" I said and glared at him.
He gingerly put my coffee back on the side.
"Sort Rowan out for me please as I try and get that lazy bastard out of bed." I said to Jack and downed my coffee.
"Good luck." Jack said and kissed me.
"Gonna need it." I muttered and walked upstairs to Seth's room.

"You getting up or not?" I asked as I walked in his room.
"Don't want to." He said and rolled over and looked at me.
I sat on his bed.
"Why not? I know you don't like school and everything but you have to go and get the grades you have to get to do what you want to do." I said and Seth sat up.
"Can't I just get home schooled?" He asked.
"You can't I'm afraid. I haven't got the time not with Rowan running round the place." I said.
"I'll tell you what, you go to school and I will buy that skateboard you want." I said.
"You bribing me now?" He chuckled and looked at me.
"Might be." I said.
He sighed and nodded.
"Good, see you downstairs." I said and got up and walked out the room .
I went downstairs and Seth was following behind.
"So he is still alive then." Aidan said.
"Duh." Seth said.
"Seth!" Rowan said loudly.
"Hey bud what you doing?" Seth said and picked him up.
Rowan babbled in his ear.
He sat at the table with Rowan on his lap.
I looked at my phone.
"Well you guys are going to be late." I said.
"Really I havent even got my face on yet." Aidan said and went upstairs.
Rowan looked confused.
"You wouldn't even understand." I chuckled and stole him from Seth so he could have his breakfast.

I turned round and saw Jack still wasn't dressed.
"You going to work?" I asked.
"Yeah I'm just going." He said and walked upstairs.
"You two better do the same." I said.
Riley got up and went upstairs.
Seth did the same and dragged himself upstairs.
After half an hour the house was pretty much quiet as everyone had gone to school and Jack had gone to work and it just left me and Rowan on our own.

"What's the betting they never brought their washing down." I said and walked into Riley's room.
Out of all of them Riley was the tidest one, followed by Aidan and like always Seth was the messiest one along with Rowan.
I walked in Seth's room and pulled his curtains back and it looked like a bomb had exploded.
"Fucking hell Seth, so much for a tidy room." I said to myself and walked out his room and went to mine and Jacks and picked our washing up and went to Rowans room and picked his washing up and went downstairs.
"Alright Row?" I asked and looked in the sitting room.
"Yeah." He said and cuddled into the dog.
"You using Sammy as a pillow?" I asked.
"Yeah." He said quietly and went back to watching the TV.
Sammy was a white German Shepherd who was a big softy when it came to the kids messing around with her.

Everyone was home and the house was just filled with music and everyone shouting at each other for no reason..
The plus side to Seth, Riley and Aidan is that they all pretty much liked the same music but the down side was they was always aruging who was better and they try and compete who can have their music the loudest.
Jack was sat on the bed while I finished folding the washing.
Rowan was with Seth helping him with whatever he was doing.
Sammy was flopped at the bottom of our bed.
"What do you think about this place?" Jack asked since we was running out of room and Rowan wasn't going to stay in the box room.
I walked over and sat on the bed and cuddled into his side.
"Looks really small. You have to think that we have 3 boys and Aid, they don't want to be under each others feet all the time, and we're not having the bloody box room." I said.
"That's true." He said.
"What about that place." I said and pointed to the laptop.
"I like that and the rooms are big as well and so is the garden." I said.
"Shell we look around it at some point this week?" He asked.
"Yeah, just remember we'll have Rowan with us and probably Seth as well since he doesn't want to go to school." I said.
"Bloody child." Jack chuckled.
"Yerp." I said and someone knocked on the door, which meant it was either Riley or Aidan as Seth and Rowan just walk on in.

Aidan poked her head round the door.
"Safe to come in?" She asked.
"Yeah, what's up?" Jack said.
"I'm stuck on this." She said and sat on the bed and Sammy moved and rested her head on Aidan lap.
She made a fuss of her while I looked at the work.
"The fuck is that even asking you to do?" I asked confused and looked at her and handed the work to Jack.
"You need to get out more dad." She chuckled.
"Don't need brains when I have him and kids to work it all out for me." I said.
She chuxkled.
Jack helped her with her work while I went and sorted tea out.
