The Experts Say I'm Delirious
“That’s what he says about you.”
Jack groaned when he heard someone pounding on the door. He opened his eyes but shut them again from the light. Maybe if he doesn’t get up, the person will go away. This was proved to be false when the person’s knocking just got louder. Finally, he got up and made his way out of the bedroom door. A yawn escape his mouth before he opened the door. Alex barged through as soon as the door was open. He looked really worried for some reason.
“Why the hell didn’t you open the door? I thought you had died!” Alex exclaimed.
“Why would I be dead?” Jack tried to rub the sleepiness away.
“Maybe it’s because you’ve been depressed and not eating! You could have been passed out and dying for all I knew!”
Jack finally snapped out of his sleepy state. He had forgotten that he didn’t tell anyone that Alesia had come back to him and was staying for good this time. This caused a smile to appear on Jack’s face from just thinking about it. This only confused Alex and made him more upset.
“What the fuck are you smiling about?! I thought you were dead!”
“I wasn’t thinking about that. I was thinking about Alesia.”
“Why were you smiling when she’s gone though?”
“She’s probably snuggling the pillow in the other room.”
“Wait. Alesia’s back?” Jack nodded. “When did she come back? s she staying for good? Why the hell didn’t you tell anyone?”
Jack laughed. “She came back yesterday night, and yesterday her aunt was trying to get her back, but her grandma came and stopped her.”
“Holy shit. What all went down?”
The two men made their way over to the couch and sat down. “Well she had called her grandma and had her get something before she left to help get her aunt to stop trying to take her away from me. Her grandma gave this huge speak on why she should leave Alesia alone and that we’re suppose to be together and stuff. Her aunt had thought that Alesia was stupid because she was in a mental hospital, but it turns out that she’s a genius. I’m not joking either. She was accepted to all of the top colleges.”
“Like Harvard?”
“Yeah.”
“I had no idea that she would be that smart.”
“Well, she is. Eventually her and grandma left. After that Alesia and I just hung out until it was time for bed. Right before I fell asleep, she told me something. She said yes.”
“Yes to what?”
“Before her grandma came, I panicked and asked her to marry me.”
Alex’s eyes widened from those words. “So you guys are engaged?” Jack nodded with a smile on his face. “Congratulations!” He gave the Lebanese man a bear hug. “You guys are perfect for eachother.”
“That’s not all.”
Alex was confused. “What else could there be? You’re going to marry the girl you’re in love with.”
Jack really couldn’t contain his excitement. “We’re going to have a baby!”
“Really?! That’s so fucking amazing! Do you know when she’s due?”
“I think I know what night it was, so she’s probably only a month along.”
“What do you want to have?”
“I don’t know. Aly wants to have a girl. A girl would be nice. She’d be my little princess, and I would make sure that no guy messed with her. I’ll kick their ass.”
“You guys are going to be some parents.” Alex looked away with a smirk.
“Do you think that I’ll be a bad dad?”
“I’m just saying that you’re going to be an interesting dad.”
Jack went to argue, but he had no argument. “Yeah, you’re right.”
“When do you want you guys to get married?”
“Um, I would like to be married before our baby.”
“Makes sense. Do you have any names picked out?”
“We didn’t talk about it because I was going to sleep, but I think a good name for a girl is Jasmine.”
“Jasmine Barakat. That’s sounds like a good name. Hey, what about Jasmine Echo Barakat. The first name started with ‘J A’ for you, and the middle name will be after Alesia.”
“That’s sounds like a good idea. I’ll run it across her. Speaking of which.”
Alesia came over to the best friends and sat on the Lebanese one’s lap. “Morning, Jack. Morning, Alex.”
“We were just talking about you,” Jack signed to her.
“Really?” She yawned. “About what?”
“Do you like the name J-A-S-M-I-N-E E-C-H-O?”
“It has a nice ring to it. If we have a girl, I want her named that.”
“Anything for you.”
“Anything?” He nodded. “I want breakfast.”
“Ok. What do you want? Wait. I know what you want. I’ll go make you some. Lex, do you want anything?”
“No, I’m good.” Jack went off towards the kitchen. “Congrats on the baby and marriage.”
“Thank you.”
“Are you guys going to have a wedding?”
“Aly wants one so probably. I also want it to happen before our kid.”
“Jack does too.”
“Cool. How does Aly and Echo feel about this?”
“Aly loves the idea. Echo does to as long as Jack and I will still have sex during it all.”
Alex laughed. “Echo is just as bad as Jack. He was just like that before he met you.”
“He still s when Echo has control.”
“Have you and Jack you know?”
“Not what Echo and Jack do. We’ve made love before though. I can access Echo’s memory, so I know that what Jack and I do is better than what Echo and him do. They are both lust driven, but when I’m there and not Echo, it’s more passionate and loving.”
“I would think so. He loves you to death. He almost gave me a heart attack this morning.”
“How so?”
“You do know how depressed Jack was and that he wouldn’t eat, don’t you?”
“He told me. I didn’t want to eat either.”
“Well, I was really worried that Jack might kill himself or harm himself in some way. I mean, we are all against it including him, but he’s never been that upset before. You guys may not have been together long, but for Jack it feels like you were together since the beginning of time.”
“It's the same thing for me. That’s why I can’t wait for us to be married and have a family. He’s perfect in every way.”
“That’s what he says about you.”

Sorry that this chapter sucks and I haven't updated in awhile. I was focused on my one other story because the main girl's secret was about to be revealed. (I'll Paint You Wings, and I'll Set You Free)This story is going to have two more chapters. There will be the wedding and the baby. After that will be the sequel. I don't know what I'm going to name it yet though, but the characters from this one will be in it (ex. the main girl in the next one) Alesia will be in it. It just won't be a Jack/OC it will be an Alex/OC. Another one of the characters in this story will be told in it.

Yep. I made the fist chapter 12 pages because I'm adding a bunch of stuff. The second is 10, but it's not the second chapter of this story. It's actually her just getting her stuff and having the guy character (his name is Elijah) driving her to his place. I did the same with another one that I started writing, but I haven't finished the finally copy yet. The rough draft has been done, but I only have four and a half chapters done because I'm adding more stuff.
The main difference would be that they do call her Aly in the begining because I found a way to work with it and the chapter where Alesia reveals herself, she has nightmares, and Elijah has a backstory that is also going to be a book. That, and I don't know what to call it yet because it will have a different name.
