The Experts Say I'm Delirious

"Pizza!"

“Your place is so cool!” Alesia exclaimed as she ran around the living room of her new home. The teenage girl could not believe that she would be living here. The hospital was nowhere near as nice, and her grandparents’ wasn’t as amazing either. Jack didn’t know why she found his place so spectacular. In fact, it was a pigsty. Old pizza boxes and dirty plates covered the place as well as empty beer bottles. Now that he was thinking of it, his place was actually in dire need of cleaning. “Where will I be staying?”
Jack pointed to the guest room at the end of the hall. Alesia blissfully skipped to her new room, bags in hand, with a huge smile on her face. The girl’s hyper activeness reminded Jack of himself. His long legs led his body over to the couch, which for once had no garbage on it. Jack’s mind started to analyze the situation that was placed in front of him. He didn’t like the thought of having to be more mature and learn sign language. Perhaps the girl would allow him to be his goofy self and even join him.
Jack could feel a small hand brush the tips of his hair and breathing next to his right ear. “What’re you doing, hottie?” a voice whispered. The voice sounded somewhat like Alesia, but it was a little deeper and sounded more like someone her age. He also noticed how sexy and tempting it was. He felt his eyes open wide at the realization that this had to be the childish and cute girl, Alesia, which was staying with him.
Alesia did not know that she said anything. In fact, she didn’t even know how she got behind the couch and her mouth by Jack’s ear. She decided to dismiss whatever happened and walked over so she was now standing in front of him. She looked at Jack and saw that his already big eyes were opened even wider. She probably should apologize for Echo on her behalf.
“I’m sorry for whatever Echo said to you.”
“So that was Echo?” He mentally slapped himself from not remembering that she couldn’t hear him.
“I can read lips well. You don’t have to be so upset. I like seeing you smile.” Alesia dropped down on the couch next to him. “What did she say?” Jack started to get up to grab the book but was stopped by Alesia’s small hand on his shoulder. “At least let me try to make out what you’re saying.”
“She asked ‘what’re you doing hottie’, and her voice was older sounding compared to yours and really sexy.” He covered his mouth. He wasn’t ready to tell Alesia that he found her attractive even if he was talking about her other personality.
Alesia raised an eyebrow. Her skill in lip reading was great, so she easily made out each word. “Echo hit on you?” Jack nodded. She started to think about it. Her hand found her chin as she sat there deep in thought. She felt a long finger poke her shoulder. Her head turned to look at Jack.
“What’s wrong?” Alesia’s face turned red. The cute plushie was worrying about her.
“It’s just that Echo has never taken an interest in anyone.”
Jack found himself getting up and heading over to the counter which was where he set the book down. Thoughts raced through his head. Echo has never been interested in anyone before, so does that mean she likes him? Then if Echo likes him, does Alesia like him too?
“I’m hungry,” Alesia pouted with her bottom lip out. Jack smiled at the sight of it. His eyes scanned the book.
“What do you want?” he signed.
“Pizza!” Her arms instantly shot up. Everything this girl did made him smile.
Jack opened his phone and looked at the time. 7:30. The doctor told him that her bedtime was at 9. They had enough time for pizza. “What kind?”
“Cheese!” Jack ordered it, and after twenty minutes the two of them went to go get it. As soon as the duo were inside, Jack started the car which made the CD that was in the player play. Alesia watched as the name of the band went over the small screen. “You like Blink too?” Jack nodded. “They were my favorite band before the accident.” He wanted to question her, but he could see the hurt in her eyes. When they got home, Alesia quickly pulled out a piece only to have it fall on the floor and the pain hit her finger. “Ow!”
“Be careful.” Jack made sure that she could see his mouth.
“It hurts. Will you kiss it better?”
Jack nodded and took her hand into his. His lips gently touched the spot that was red from the heat of the crust. As he pulled away, he looked at her face and saw tears starting to spill. Jack found himself bringing this girl into a hug. He wanted to make her pain go away. He wanted to heal her even though he knew that he couldn’t. As his arms left her sides, he leaned down and gave her a tender peck on the cheek. Her cheeks brightened, and she stepped back a little. She grabbed another piece with a napkin and walked over to the couch. She didn’t turn to him at all.
“Shit. Why the fuck did I have to kiss her. She’s like a kid. A kid wouldn’t fucking want to be kissed on the cheek.
“I’m done.” She finally looked at him. “I’m going to go to bed now. Will you tuck me in?” Jack followed Alesia into her new room and watched as she climbed into bed.
“I’ve never tucked a girl in before.”
“Well, just come over and tell me goodnight then.” He walked over to her bedside and gave her a kiss on the head. It wasn’t like the last one. This one was more like a father kissing his daughter. “Goodnight Plushie.”
“Goodnight Alesia.” With that he was out of the room.
You shouldn’t have freaked before when he kissed you. You should have kissed him.
Why would Alesia do that?
He’s hot. Why don’t you just do him?
She was offended by what Echo said. She wanted her stop. Eventually, Echo stopped, and she went to bed thinking about the plushie.
Jack wasn’t sleeping. Instead, he was practicing sign language. He wanted to be able to communicate with her effectively. Jack felt like he had no choice because he was defiantly growing a crush on her.

Yep. I made the fist chapter 12 pages because I'm adding a bunch of stuff. The second is 10, but it's not the second chapter of this story. It's actually her just getting her stuff and having the guy character (his name is Elijah) driving her to his place. I did the same with another one that I started writing, but I haven't finished the finally copy yet. The rough draft has been done, but I only have four and a half chapters done because I'm adding more stuff.
The main difference would be that they do call her Aly in the begining because I found a way to work with it and the chapter where Alesia reveals herself, she has nightmares, and Elijah has a backstory that is also going to be a book. That, and I don't know what to call it yet because it will have a different name.
I'm happy you like this though! :) :) :)
And that's cool about your friend!

@QueenDes that's awesome! One of my friends wrote a book based in her favourite characters and people and we ended up publishing it for her birthday. And if it's a book, it means lots of chapters ;)

Thanks. I forgot to mention when I updated the sequel, but I'm actually turning this into a book that's not a fanfiction (obviously). You're the first to know on here. :)
But thank you. This is my favorite of all of my stories, and it makes me feel awesome when I get comments on it. :) :) :)

Love it, only 1/2 way though at the moment but steaming through it.
@Caletitah
Thanks! I might start writing the first chapter tonight. I just realized that I have two stories that are late, so I might write it tomorrow.
