The Experts Say I'm Delirious

“You should get home.”

“I don’t feel good,” Aly told her lanky boyfriend as she laid down in bed. Jack said down next to her and stroked her cheek. “Can I lay in bed all day?”
“Of course.” His hand traveled up to her forehead. “You’re not warm.”
“But I feel like I’m going to be sick again.”
“Again?”
“I already threw up once. I don’t want to do it again.”
After saying this the girl got up and ran into the bathroom. It was obvious what was going on. Jack walked into the bathroom and saw the girl in front of the toilet, throwing all of her stomach contents up. After kneeling down next to her, he held her hair back and rubbed her back. When she finally stopped, he gave her a glass of water, which she gurgled and then spit out in the sink. Her legs felt weak from using all of her energy to throw up everything in her stomach, so Jack picked her up and carried her back to their bed.
“Is there anything that I can get you?” Jack signed.
“I’m hungry, but I don’t want to throw up anymore.”
“I can get you soup.” Aly nodded. “What kind?”
“Cream of mushroom.”
“I’ll be right back with it.”
The gangling man walked into the kitchen and started making her what she requested. As he stirred the contents of the pot, he thought about what had happened a month ago at his girlfriend’s birthday party. He could remember it like it was yesterday.
“She probably doesn’t even like you! Her mind is like a child’s!”
“She does too like me!”
“Have you two had sex?”
“That has nothing to do with it!”
“You’re probably just using her because she’s easy!”
“Shut the fuck up! I love her!”
Jack wondered how she would react if she saw him like this. If he didn’t love her, would he be making soup for her when she was sick? Well, Jack was a nice person but still. He really didn’t understand why she wouldn’t accept them being together. Aly’s other relatives did. They were all completely fine with it. It was just that bitch that didn’t want them together.
When the food was done, Jack took it into his room with a glass of Sprite. Aly was waiting for him with grabby hands. The sight made Jack chuckle and then hand her the soup and set the pop down on the nightstand. He heard her wince and saw that she had her tongue out with some tears in her eyes. Did she ever cool down her food? He kissed her on the cheek and took the spoon and bowl away at the same time. Aly made a confused face, but then she saw what he was doing. Jack gently blew on the spoon and stuck it in front of her face. Just like a little kid, the girl allowed her boyfriend to feed her. They continued this until all of it was gone.
“Thank you,” Aly murmured before laying back down.
“Don’t mention it.” Jack laid down next to her and checked her temperature again. “You’re still not warm, but it’s getting cold out, so you might be getting something.”
“I want it to go away now.”
“Do you want me to run to the store and get you some medicine?”
“I don’t like medicine.”
“Well, if you’re sick, you need it.”
She huffed. “Fine. Go get it.”
“I’ll be right back.” Jack made his way out and then to the store.
After some time past, Bassam came into the room. Aly saw this and wondered why he was acting funny. He kept going to the bedroom door and back to the bedside. Perhaps he wanted her to follow him. Aly sighed. She didn’t want to get up. She was sick. Bassam was her puppy though, and he never has done anything bad before, so it might be important. Aly slowly got out of bed and followed the little Yorkshire Terrier to the door. Maybe someone was outside. Aly opened the door. Her eyes widened before her legs took her to her bedroom.
Jack was at the door looking at all the different types of medicine. Trying to pick out the best one made him scratch his head in thought. There was such a variety. How was he ever going to get to choose. When he finally picked one up, a familiar looking girl came up to him. Where had he seen her before?
“Do you remember me?” she signed. “It’s me, A-U-R-O-R-A. I’m A-L-Y’s cousin.” That was where he remembered her. She was the girl that refused to talk.
“I remember.”
“You should get home.”
“Why?”
“It’s my aunt.”
“What’s she doing?”
“Just get home, please. Do it for A-L-Y.”
Jack didn’t need telling twice. If his girlfriend was in danger, he was going to protect her until he physically couldn’t anymore. He dropped the medicine that was in hand and ran out to his car. He tried not to speed, but it was hard knowing that his love was in trouble. Luckily, he didn't get pulled over, and luckily, he didn't get in a crash. Everyone did know about his driving skills. The Lebanese man burst through the door to find that Aly was nowhere in site. He looked around and found a note.
iJack,
I’ve taken Aly with me. She deserves someone that cares for her. You aren’t good for her in any way, shape, or form. You are never going to get to see her again, and if you try to, I will get my lawyers to say that she is mental and needs to live with a relative. She does NOT need to be living with some guitarist from a band. You’re warping her mind with your lies. She will be staying with me, and there is nothing you can do about me.
Lauren

Jack tore the paper up and ran to his bedroom to lay down. Aly was in a mental hospital. He might not have stood a chance against lawyers. He sighed and then noticed a piece of paper between the pillows. Perhaps this one was from his love.
Jack,
My aunt is going to take me away from you. I don’t want to go with her. I have no choice. She said that she would never let me see you if I didn’t go with her. I’m really sorry, Jack. I’m going to find a way to stay with you. I’ll never be happy again if I’m not at your side. Just remember that I love you.
Aly

“I love you too,” Jack murmured before crying himself to sleep.
Jack’s dreams were plagued by the fact that his darling was no longer in his arms. He had to think of a plan to get her back. The dreams didn't help though. In the end of each one, he lost the battle. Was there really a way to get her back? Jack was definitely going to ask the guys about this. For now, all he could do is be haunted by his nightmares of loneliness.

@Billie Joe Gaskarth
Yep. I made the fist chapter 12 pages because I'm adding a bunch of stuff. The second is 10, but it's not the second chapter of this story. It's actually her just getting her stuff and having the guy character (his name is Elijah) driving her to his place. I did the same with another one that I started writing, but I haven't finished the finally copy yet. The rough draft has been done, but I only have four and a half chapters done because I'm adding more stuff.
The main difference would be that they do call her Aly in the begining because I found a way to work with it and the chapter where Alesia reveals herself, she has nightmares, and Elijah has a backstory that is also going to be a book. That, and I don't know what to call it yet because it will have a different name.
I'm happy you like this though! :) :) :)
And that's cool about your friend!

@QueenDes that's awesome! One of my friends wrote a book based in her favourite characters and people and we ended up publishing it for her birthday. And if it's a book, it means lots of chapters ;)
@Billie Joe Gaskarth
Thanks. I forgot to mention when I updated the sequel, but I'm actually turning this into a book that's not a fanfiction (obviously). You're the first to know on here. :)
But thank you. This is my favorite of all of my stories, and it makes me feel awesome when I get comments on it. :) :) :)

Love it, only 1/2 way though at the moment but steaming through it.
@Caletitah
Thanks! I might start writing the first chapter tonight. I just realized that I have two stories that are late, so I might write it tomorrow.
