Chapter 2:
Jack's POV:
Alex was getting worse and worse each day, I just wanted to help him. I feel like it's all my fault, I never should have asked him to marry me.
"Jack, I'm really sorry about these past couple months." Alex said, his eyes on the floor. He crawled onto my lap, planting a kiss on my temple.
"Alex you can't just shout at me then kiss me and think everything will be perfect again! Just get your fucking head out your ass then I will accept your apology." (ooh jacks gettin sassy) Alex's stare was stone cold, it was as if he was trying to burn a whole through my head as he stared.
"I'm just stressed Jack, is that ok with you?" Alex said, his voice raising as he got off my lap.
"No it's not. Stop making up stupid excuses for your temper. I'm sick of this Alex, this isn't the Alex I fell in love with." Pain shot through his eyes, which were now filled with tears. He sat back on my lap and wrapped his arms around my lap as he cried into my chest.
"I-I'm sorry Jack. I wouldn't love me either."
"Shh." I said stroking his hair then kissing it. "I still love you, Alex, I always will." He kissed my collar bone making me squirm, I felt his smile against my skin before he began trailing kisses up my neck. I giggled and he smiled into my neck, nuzzling his nose against my skin.
"I love you." He whispered. "Even if it doesn't seem like that all the time." I kissed his nose earning a massive grin from him. This is the Alex I want, this is the Alex I fell in love with, not the monster that's taking over him.
