Why Don't We Just Runaway?

She's 18, alone and without direction of where to go in her life. She's ran away from home, and doesn't know what to do with herself. Kira is unwilling to return to her dreadful home-life, but will she have a choice?
She's well aware of what could happen if she goes back and that's what frightens her. Without treatment, she could see an early end. But without money, without purpose, without somebody to hold her at night, she doesn't know what to do.
Could the guitarist of a band she didn't know she liked offer Kira an option, and salvation? She wants to take the offer, but she's afraid.
Jack wants to help her, he wants to be her somebody, but she's blocking him out in every way she possibly can. Only Alex knows the truth behind why Jack is trying so hard to be someone to Kira, but it isn't good. Will she finally let him in? Or will she take the risk and jump in head first with somebody else?
