-Sam's POV-

After school ended, I stood by my locker and ready to go home. Suddenly, Zack was standing next to me.

"Hey," He said.

"Oh, hi," I replied.

"I was wondering if we could hang out." He stated.

"Fine by me. How about my house?" I asked

"Sounds good."

"Let's go."

I grabbed my bag and closed my locker. We started to walk to my house which wasn't too far from the school. When we got there, I walked him over to my backyard and sat on a swing. He sat next to me. My heart started to beat like crazy.

"So, I met your friend, Leikin," He mumbled into my ear giving me goosebumps.

"She didn't annoy you, did she?'

"No, she seems nice."

"Ok, good."

"Hey!" Leikin said walking in. I completely forgot. I was supposed to go to Alli's house with her... whoops. "I wa wondering why you left me."

"I'm sorry, I forgot."

"It's fine, I'll just leave you guys to do God knows what. I'll just go," She said turning on her heels.

"Wait. There is nothing going on! We're just friends."

"Really?" I nodded. "Prove it, kiss him."

"What is that going to prove?" I asked.

"It shouldn't really mean anything if you don't have feelings for him," She shrugged.

"Fine I'll do it!" My heart started to beat faster. I moved myself closed to Zack and placed my lips on his. I felt fireworks as I felt him kiss me back and hold on to my waist. I quickly pulled back. NO, this couldn't be right. Why would he want me?

"There. Nothing," I lied.

"Um, I should go." Zack said getting up.

"Let me walk you." I replied.

"It's ok," He said walking away.

"I'm sorry, I didn't think you'd actually go for it, " Leikin said standing next to me.

"Don't be. Nothing would've happened anyways," I replied as we started to walk to Alli's house.

"Oh, my God, Sam! I don't know why you have like no self confidence! Do you know how many girls would kill to have your pretty eyes? Do you know how many people would love to be smart like you? You don't know! You don't know much I would want boys staring at me everyday, asking me out, and offering to hold my books! I guess you just take that for granted like you don't wake up in your body everyday! Or do you just not care? I see the way Zack lools at you! He really likes you and if you think he doesn't, that's bullshit! You broke his heart when you said that you felt nothing. I was just playing around with you, you really didn't have to go fuck everything up.You'll be lucku if he ever wants to talk to you again after this!" She stoped to take a deep breath. "But, I guess you don't believe anything I just said, because this is one of the few times I'm actually serious," She concluded rant as we walked into Alli's house.

Later I walked home and thought about what Leikin said. Maybe she was right.
