Alex’s P.O.V

“Okay class we are going to be starting our first musical project of the year: Inventing” I smiled at them

Going by inventing results from last year it seems to be one of Jack’s strong points so I can’t wait to see what he produces.

“You will have today to work on it; you will be allocated a certain amount of class time this week. I do advise you do it as homework though to get it finished. The deadline is this Friday! Now you might think that’s a bit harsh and a bit too soon but no it’s not because in reality when you go and you leave school and you get a job you will be asked to hand things in that day or maybe the next day so be thankful you’re getting until Friday!” He beamed at us.

I instructed the class to get started. They have been working quietly for the past 10 minutes and by now I was getting bored sitting doing nothing. I had an idea! I will text Jack.

The bell for the end of class rang and the pupils started filing out of the classroom. Jack waited until they had all gone before shutting the door and sitting on top of my desk. He put on his best puppy eyes and looked down at me.

“Please don’t give me detention Mr Gaskarth, I promise it wont happen again” He smirked

“I’m sorry Mr Barakat I’m afraid I’m going to have to” I smirked up at the lanky boy leaning over me from on top of the desk.

“How about if I do this?” he smashed his lips against mine and began sucking on my bottom lip. The sensations were amazing that I lost control of everything and began kissing him back.

He let go and smirked down at me. The puppy dog look gone, replaced by a look of lust.

“Does that help change anything?” He giggled

“Why no Mr Barakat, I’m afraid it makes it worse” I smiled

“You have been a very bad boy so I’m afraid I’m going to have to add an extra half an hour onto your detention for teasing your teacher” I smirked at him.

He hopped of the desk and headed for the door turning back to face me. He blew a kiss in my direction before turning towards the door and leaving. I quickly took out my phone and began typing out a text.

Jack’s P.O.V

Friday: Project presentation day.

Today is the day we have to hand in our assignments. I’m pretty nervous about it actually.

“Okay class, since Josh is our class clown he can go first in the presentations.” Alex smiled.

Josh stood up from his seat and made his way to the front of the class, collecting his guitar on the way there. He sang a song named This Is The First Thing.

“Congratulations Josh on actually handing in a good presentation” Alex laughed.

It was my turn now. I made my way to the front of the class collecting my guitar on the way there. I took a seat on the empty chair and began to strum

I can’t control this feeling

Somethings happening inside me

Our senses come alive

The Chemistry is building

With something that were feeling

There’s no way we can hide it.


The words that I sang seemed to have some sort of affect on Alex. It was almost as If he was crying.

“Thank you Jack, well done. You may return to your seat now” he sniffed.

The rest of the lesson consisted of listening to everyone else’s work. The bell rang exactly on time and everyone started filing out of the classroom messily. I was just about to leave when I heard the door shut and felt a tug on my arm.

I turned around only to be caught of guard by Alex crashing his lips against mine. My first reaction was to kiss him back.

“Mm baby your presentation was perfect” he breathed into my ear sending shivers down my spine.

“Not as perfect as you” I hummed.

I could feel myself growing with each movement and touch.

“Alex... I have to get to class! How’s about you come over to my house later?” I breathed.

“Mm sounds good! Or how’s about I give you a ride home?” He smirked.

“Hmm alright then! Meet you in the carpark when the bell rings” I smiled.

I excited the classroom with the biggest smile plastered on my face.

“What did Mr Gaskarth want?” Zack smirked making me jump.

“For gods sake Zack you just scared the shit outta me! And oh nothing he just wants to record my inventing.” I smirked

“Jack it’s okay I wont say anything to anyone about it” He smiled

“Say anything about what?” I quizzed curiously

“About you and Mr Gaskarth! Your secret is safe with me” He beamed.

“Zack you cannot tell anyone! If word gets out about this it could ruin us both!” I sighed.

Zack promised he wouldn’t say a word to anyone and he was pretty trust worthy and so I believed him but I had to tell Alex he knew.
