Alex’s P.O.V

If there was one thing I was sure of it was that I definitely had some sort of feelings for Jack. I can’t help it there is just something about him. Tonight after dinner he showed me out and I kissed him for the 2nd time today and whilst we were doing so I slipped a piece of paper into his back pocket with my number on it as I was sure there was no way I’d make it through the night without speaking to him.

I checked my phone and there was nothing. About a minute later it buzzed alerting me that I had a text message.

9:47pm To: Alex From: Jack

Alex?

9:47pm To: Jack From: Alex

Jack?

9:48pm To: Alex From: Jack

Um I found a piece of paper with your number on it in the back pocket of my jeans…

9:48pm To: Jack From: Alex

Uh yea I put it there (: So we could like talk and stuff, if that’s alright?

Um yea I suppose it is..

Look Jack if you don’t want us to talk it’s fine I understand! (: x

9:51pm To: Alex From: Jack

It’s not that It’s just what if other teachers or students find out anything that’s happened between us! Or worse my dad :/ x

I promise you Jack no one will ever find out about what happened not even your dad! So you have nothing to worry about! (: I’m gonna go cos I have to get up earlier than you but how’s about stopping by class first thing and we can talk? Night <3 x

Fine! I’ll see you tomorrow (: Night Alex <3 x

I went to sleep with a smile on my face knowing that we could talk about things tomorrow.

Jack’s P.O.V

I couldn’t help but smile. Alex had promised me everything was gonna be okay and I believed him. I’m gonna do what he says and go see him first thing so we can talk since well we don’t want the class or other staff to get suspicious.

I woke up bright and early, rubbing the sleepy from my eyes. I opened the wardrobe and picked out a fresh set of clothes for today. Once I was changed I made my way to the bathroom and messed up my hair in the same usual smile.

I headed downstairs and straight out the door to meet Rian and Zack. I wasn’t hungry today so I decided to skip breakfast, I’d just grab something at break. As soon as we pulled up outside Dulaney High I told the others I had to go see my English teacher about some homework or he was gonna go mental.

I left the others and headed straight for Alex’s classroom. I sent him a text when I arrived.

8:35am To: Alex From: Jack

I’m in the classroom (: where are you? X

8:36am To: Jack From: Alex

I’m in the staff base! Give me 2 secs and I’ll be up x

I was getting kinda nervous and I had no idea why! I mean Alex promised me everything would be fine and I’m pretty sure things aren’t awkward so why do I feel nervous?

“Good morning Jack!” Alex greeted as he came sauntering through the classroom door shutting it behind him.

“Uh hi” I shakily replied

“Look Jack about last night, I’m really sorry okay.” He breathed.

“Alex please don’t be sorry! You have nothing to be sorry for, infact it’s me who should be apologising to you!” I pleaded.

“Jack don’t please! What are we Jack? I’m so confused. One minute you like me and the next you’re brushing me of like you don’t care!” He sighed

“Alex, I don’t know what we are? And it’s pretty much the same with you! So you’re not the only one confused!” I sighed back

“Jack, I really do like you and I’m not scared to admit that or to show it! Everything that has happened between us so far has been perfect! I couldn’t have asked for a better time and infact you are the reason I get out of bed in the morning to drive to this shit hole cos you know something, I hate teaching and I hate teaching here! But you make it all worth while” he smiled before sitting himself down in the chair next to me.

“I never knew that’s how you felt. I really like you too but I’m scared Alex, Scared of what might happen if anyone found out about us” I sighed.

“Jack, Look at me! I promise you I won’t let anything happen to you! I’m going to take care of you okay, I wont let anyone find out” He promised me this for the 2nd time. He obviously meant it judging by the pureness in his voice.

The bell rang and I knew I had to get to class. I kissed Alex on the cheek before exciting the classroom and running down the corridor as fast as I could.
