Fairy Tale.

Fairy Tale.

Once upon a time, there was a girl by the name of Stella. But most called her Princess Stella, as she was the daughter of King Alexander and Queen Lisa. Most though she was the happiest of people, since she always had a smile on her face. But, she was not happy, she was lonely. She wanted nothing more than to have someone to hold her as she slept, tell her she was perfect in every way possible. She never believe she would find that person, not even when her Father told her that a Prince from a land far away was coming to take her as his wife. She fought with her Father over this matter, and even though about running away, but she knew she wouldn’t get too far.

Princess Stella did have someone in mind whom she wanted to be in the arms of, but she would never admit it. He was a peasant, and she was a Princess. He was one who served her and her royal family. One whom she heard other servants call, Jack. She would always dream of a wild dream, one where her parents let her marry who she would love, not who she is forced to be with.

Stella often spotted Jack working the lands from her window. When no one was around, she would whisper aloud the name of ‘King Jack’ or ‘Prince Jack’, hoping one day her dreams of being held tightly in his arms would come true.

She heard a knock upon her door, and the small voice of her Mother, Queen Lisa, call to her from the other side. “Come in, Mother.” Stella’s soft, kind voice spoke as she turned away from his window and sat on the edge of her bed.

“Good morning, dear. Are you all set for Prince Rian’s arrival?” Queen Lisa said with a soft smile as she walked over and sat next to her daughter.

“I don’t want to marry Princes Rian, Mother. I refuse to be with someone I don’t love. You can’t make me.” Princess Stella huffed as she got off the bed and walked over to a mirror, Queen Lisa right behind her.

“You must marry Prince Rian, he has offered to take your hand in marriage and that is how it must be. There will be no fighting it.” Queen Lisa said with a slight huff before exiting Princess Stella’s room and shutting the door behind her. Stella wasn’t happy with any of it, she wanted nothing more than to gather a few things and just leave. So she did just that.

She changed out of her elegant dress and put on something less Princess like, which the only thing she could find was a casual black t-shirt and a pair of ripped jeans. She liked the simple look, it made her seem like she was a normal teenager for once. She would often wear the outfit around her room, never outside closed doors as she would get shunned by the King and Queen.

The Princess managed to leave the castle without and hassle. She didn’t know where she was going, but she knew one thing, and that was that she didn’t want to go alone. She ran as fast as she could to the horse stables, only to be stopped right at the entrance. “Hold it right there!” She knew the voice to be one of the knights. Knight Zack was the one. The Princess turned around and looked at him. “Princess Stella?” He questioned. as he lowered his sword. “What are you doing out here? And dressed like that?” The Knight was as confused as ever.

“Oh please Sir Zack. Please let me go and not tell my Mother and Father. I need to leave, please.” Princess Stella begged the man whose loyalty was with the King and the Queen.

“Tell me why you must leave, Princess.” Knight Zack spoke with a small bow of his head, as a sign of respect for the Princess.

“Mother and Father want me to marry, marry someone who I do not love. I can’t. I refuse to do anything of the sort. Please Sir Zack, don’t tell my parents I have left.”

“You have my word Princess, but you must go now before the King returns with the Prince from far away.” Knight Zack answered. The Princess gave him a short hug in appreciation as she ran into the stables and went to her white horse. She opened her gate and saw that she was being brushed by the peasant of her dreams. He looked up at her and quickly dropped the brush and bowed to her.

“Good morning m’lady. Is there anything I can do for you today?” Jack spoke is such a kind voice. Princess Stella thought for a minute before answering. She didn’t want to leave the castle alone, and she knew who she wanted to take with her.

“Saddle up my horse. We shall leave together in five minutes.” Princess Stella spoke to him.

“We? May I ask why Princess?”

“Mother and Father want me to marry some Prince from some land far far away. I shall not, I will not. Sir Jack, please come with me. We can live a happy life together. Just the two of us.”

“I would love to, my fair maiden.” Jack spoke as he saddled up the horse and climbed on, helping the Princess on behind him. The settled on the horse and raced out of the stables, over the hill and off to start their new lives together. Willing to fight anything that comes in their way.

Oh wow. This was pure perfection. I dream of this. Jack taking me away from my miserable life and marrying me. He's the kind of guy that girls wait their whole lives for. Great story. Loves it
