Barakat, Jack Barakat
Amy was woken up by a loud banging at her door. She shuddered, remembering the last time she was woken in the middle of the night by someone knocking. She pulled herself out of bed and trudged towards the door, unlocking it and opening it wearily.
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY!” Cass burst through the door, Rian in tow.
“Would you be quiet?! You’re gonna wake the neighbours!” Rian shook his head at his overly excited girlfriend, who was bouncing up and down like a puppy. Cass just pulled a tongue at him and threw herself at Amy, wrapping her up in a big hug.
“Happy birthday Amy” Rian smiled, hugging her once he forced Cass to let go of her.
“Thanks guys” Amy smiled. She was truly grateful for them.
“Now get your ass dressed, we’re leaving soon! You know we have a flight to catch, so move it” Cass grinned.
“Ugh, fiiinneee” Amy walked off into her bedroom pulling out a pair of skinny jeans and a t-shirt. After she was dressed, she loosely curled her hair and applied some makeup so she didn’t look like a complete zombie. She grabbed her overnight bag that she had packed the night before as they would be staying overnight in Florida and travelling back the day after. She walked back out to find Cass and Rian waiting on her couch.
“The blue is starting to fade” she said to Cass, running her fingers through her hair.
“I wanna dye it another colour” she grinned at her best friend.
“We can do it when we get back” Cass said excitedly.
“But let’s go celebrate your birthday!” she threw her arms up in the air and opened the door.
They piled into Rian’s car heading for the airport.
“So are the guys meeting us there?” Amy asked from the backseat.
“Yep, your best friend will be there” Cass turned around, winking at her.
“What?” Amy asked confused.
“Jack!” Cass stated like it was obvious.
“We’ve all seen how much closer you’ve gotten to him again” Amy just ignored her comment and looked out of the window.
They pulled up at the airport, exiting the car and making their way inside.
“So where are the guys? I don’t see them anywh-OOF” Amy was tackled into a strong hug.
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY WONDERFUL, AMAZING AMY!” Alex shouted, causing everyone in the airport to look at the scene. Glares were shot Alex’s way as it was still really early.
“Thank you, Alex” Amy smiled patting his head like he was a dog. She turned around to see Zack, Matt and Jack standing behind her.
“Happy birthday” Zack pulled her into a strong hug. Honestly, the guys’ muscles are that big, Amy thinks that he doesn’t even mean to give hugs that strong.
“Hey birthday girl! Happy birthday” Matt smiled.
“I have your present here now, you have to wear it the whole day” he grinned puling out a pair of Minnie Mouse ears for her to wear.
“Oh wow” she laughed.
“Thank you. I’ll definitely keep them on” she grinned. She turned around to see Jack standing with his arms wide open. She gladly stepped into them, wrapping her arms around his waist as she inhaled his familiar scent.
“Happy birthday, Amy” he kissed the top of her head, the pair still standing hugging, neither one wanting to let go.
“Sorry to break the two of you up, but I think we need to check in” Alex stepped in, the pair pulling apart, Amy trying not to laugh.
“I FEEL LIKE MY INNER 5 YEAR OLD IS ABOUT TO BURST OUT” Amy squealed as they approached the infamous Disney castle.
“Well keep it to yourself and don’t burst it all over me” Alex said to her, pretending to avoid her like she carried some sort of plague.
“Shut up you, I know exactly how she feels!”
“Thank you Matt” Amy grinned, turning to pull a tongue at Alex.
“Can we get a picture in front of it? Pleeeaaasseee” Amy whined. Zack approached a woman passing by, asking her to take a photo of the group. They all posed for the photo, Amy trying not to flinch as Jack wrapped his arm around her waist.
After they were done taking photos and finally got Matt to stop taking hundreds of pictures, they finally made it inside.
“So seeing as it’s Amy’s birthday, I think she should choose what we go on first” Rian spoke, everyone nodding in agreement. Amy stood thinking.
“TOWER OF TERROR” She shouted, earning groans from the group.
“Hey! Don’t complain. You said I could pick” she poked her tongue out as they made their way there.
“I think I’m gonna be sick” Cass held her stomach as they exited the Tower of Terror.
“I think I need a new hand after Amy squeezed it that hard” Jack complained, Amy turning red.
“I said I was sorry” she laughed.
The next few hours went by fast. Amy being carried on Alex’s back most of the time, pretending she was royalty. The day was spent going on rollercoasters and meeting some of the characters, of course Matt freaking out around Mickey. And Amy almost dying of embarrassment when the guys and Cass all got Peter Pan to sing happy birthday with them to her. Amy stood the whole time trying to cover her face with her hands, Alex forcing them away from her face as she stood completely unsure of what to do. She grinned like an idiot, thanking them and Peter of course. The day was going perfectly. She couldn’t ask for a better birthday.
“Thank you guys so much for this today. It means the world to me” she grinned at her friends. She held out her arms, them all walking in for one big group hug. It was time for them to leave and go back to the hotel they were staying the night at.
“Amy, can I talk to you for a moment?” Jack called. She nodded at the rest of the guys to go on without them. Jack had stopped and stood waiting for Amy to approach him. He stood staring at the floor.
“Hey” she smiled at him.
“Hi” he smiled back. That smile. It drove her insane.
“So what is it that you want to talk about?” she continued to smile at him.
“I just hope you’re having a good birthday”
“I’m having an amazing birthday. Thank you”
“Good. I like seeing you happy” he grinned at her. She pulled him into a hug, smiling at him as she pulled away.
“Fuck it, I can’t do this” Amy looked at him confused.
“Wha-” Jack grabbed her face and smashed his lips onto hers, her eyes immediately shutting. She didn’t hesitate to kiss back and Jack internally sighed in relief. Amy wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him closer. She had missed the feeling of his lips on hers, she had been craving it ever since their last kiss. Jack finally pulled away for air, pressing his forehead against hers and looking down at her. She stood, eyes still closed as she could feel his cool breath hitting her face. She finally opened her eyes, looking up into those familiar orbs.
“I love you Amy. I never stopped loving you” he said, still looking into her eyes.
“I love you too, Jack” she whispered, pulling him into another kiss. She couldn’t get enough.
