Alex's POV

"Why the fuck do I have to cook? She's your mother." I aruged to Jack.
"I wasnt the one who decided to flip out on Anthony." Jack said back.
We was aruging about who was cooking tonight his Jacks mum.
"Well I wasn't the fucking one who was bullshitting through my teeth." I snapped back.
"Even fucking so you don't go doing what you was doing!" He said loudly at me.
Some human came in the kitchen.
"Get out!" Me and Jack shouted together which made the human jump and pretty much run out the room.
"Wrong? So you would rather him blaming you for something you never fucking did!" I growled.
"I know you know it wouldn't off been me." He said and looked at me.
I sighed.
"Why don't you get a human to cook?" Jack asked and moved towards me and pinned me against the side.
"Never thought that." I said quietly.
"Good thing i did then." He said against my lips and kissed me.
"Does this mean make up sex now?" He smirked.
"Possibly." I said and kissed him.
He smiled and got hold of my hand.

A human walked in again.
"Cook something which is good." I said.
"What would you like me too cook?" She asked.
"A roast of some sorts." Jack said.
"But Sir, its 5 in the afternoon. By the time we prep and get it cooking it won't be done until 8." She said.
"I suggest you get cooking then." I snapped.
She looked down and went off doing what she was meant to be doing.
"Anything which I should know Sir?" She asked bravely.
"No, whatever you cook will be fine." Jack said.
She nodded and carried on what she was doing.
"Now where was we?" I asked and pulled him closer to me.
"I dunno, something which involves the bedroom." Jack said and kissed me hard.
I smiled and we went upstairs.

"Come on Alex, mum will be here in 10 minutes." Jack said and jumped on me.
"Sleep is more important." I grumbled.
"You have to get back in mothers good books." He said and kissed along my collarbones.
"Don't want to." I said.
"Lex please, for me." He whined and kissed my neck.
"Do I really have too?" I asked and looked at him.
"I'm afraid so. As much as I would like to stay in bed and cuddle all evening we have my mother coming round and you have to try and get back into mums good books again." He said and kissed me.
I sat up which knocked Jack off me a little.
"What do I wear then?" I asked.
"Casual clothes." He said.
"Can just wearing my pants be casual enough?" I asked.
Jack laughed.
"No, no one is going to see what I can see." He growled and moved to my neck and probably giving me a hickie.
"Well you better get off me then so I can get dressed then." I said and slapped his chest.
He moved and I got out of bed and went over to my pile of clothes.
I picked out a pair of skinny jeans and a flannel shirt.
I looked at Jack and he was eye fucking me.
"Like what you see?" I asked and walked over to him.
"Very much so." He said and kissed me hard.

I heard someone knock on the door.
"Yeah?" I said and turned round and saw a human standing at the door.
"There's a lady at the gates claiming she's his mother." She said and pointed to Jack.
"Let her in." I said.
"But sir." She started.
"Do it otherwise you'll be dead, disobey me once more and that will happen." I growled and glared at her .
She nodded and went downstairs.
Jack chuxkled and wrapped his arms round my waist and rested his head on my shoulder.
"Someone feeling grumpy?" He asked and kissed my cheek.
"Nope, I'm as happy as can be." I said and got hold of his hand and we went downstairs and meet his mother.

We got downstairs and Joyce was looking round as someone was taking her coat from her.
"Bloody hell Jacky can see why you want to live here, this place is huge." She said and looked round.
"So everyone says." Jack said and went over and hugged her.
"What's with the whole people out there? And all these humans, enough to make you thristy." She said and looked at the human walking past.
I went over to Jack.
"She need blood." I said quietly.
I went to the kitchen and went to the fridge.
"Something smells good." I said to the girl cooking.
"Thank you Sir, it should be ready in half an hour." she smiled.
I got the blood and went to the sitting room where Jack sat his mum on the sofa.
"Here drink this, it'll help." I said quietly.
She took the bottle and pretty much downed it.
"He's starving you from the thing our kind needs the most isn't he?" I asked.
"Alex, not now." Jack warned.
"Okay, but if he hurts you call Jack and he will tell me and I will sort him out for you." I said.
She smiled and nodded.
I smiled.

"This is gorgeous." Joyce said as she ate her food.
"Glad you like it." Jack said.
She smiled.
"What's up? Can never shut you up, you scarily quiet tonight." Jack said.
"Tell me to fuck off if you must but can I stay here for the night?" She asked.
"Of course you can." I said.
I looked round the room and a human walked forward.
"Can you make the bed up in the spare room for me please." I said.
They nodded and walked off.
"You okay mum?" Jack asked.
"I'm fine Jacky, just tried the food is really nice. Enough to make you want to eat it all again." She smiled.
I stuided her a little.
"Lex?" Jack said and shook my arm.
"It wasn't me." I said quickly and looked at Jack.
"You've done nothing wrong, want to watch a film with me and mum?" He said.
I nodded and we all got up and went to the sitting room.

Jack had fallen asleep with his head on my lap and I was just running my fingers through his head.
"He really likes you. I know you two are bonded and everything but, he's different round you. It's nice to see him really happy again." She said.
I smiled.
"I hope he likes me otherwise we're fucked." I said.
She chuckled.
"How is he?" She asked.
"What do you mean by that?" I asked confused.
"Is he happy here?" She asked.
"Yeah, I mean a lot has changed in the last 3 weeks but he's coping with everything really well. Couldn't be more proud of him because not many common fertie can cope with the stuff he has to put up with." I said.
She smiled.
"I mean my own family couldnt put up with me. Im surpised he puts up with me, especially when I loose my shit or go off randomly about stuff." I said and looked at the sleeping Jack.
"Im glad you can give him everything he want which I can't give him. I don't think I can thank you enough for taking him in and looking after him when I can't do that." She said.
I didn't say anything.
"Can you promise me one thing?" She asked.
I looked at her.
"Sure." I said.
"Look after him for me. I have to leave the state soon and I don't know when I'll be back. I want you to promise me you'll look after him for me." She said.
"I promise." I said and Jack moved a little.
"I think I better get him and myself to bed." I said.
"Sounds like a good idea." She said and got up.
"Someone will lead you to your room." I said and picked Jack up and went upstairs to our room and I kicked our door shut.

Jack stured a little.
"Go back to sleep your in bed now." I said quietly.
"You going to stay here?" He asked.
"Yeah, I'm here and not going anywhere." I said as I climbed into bed and kissed the side of his head.
He moved and cuddled into my side and fell asleep.
I just messed with his hair for most of the night.
