Toxic valentine

Alex's POV

I couldn't sleep and I was doing my head in.
Jack was getting annoyed with me as I was keeping him up.
"Tell me what's wrong will you." He snapped a little.
I rolled onto my side and looked at him.
"Things are going to change very soon." I said quietly and traced my finger up and down his chest a little.
"Explain?" Jack yawned.
"I'm not going to at school for a while." I said quietly.
"Why?" He muttered and his breaths slowly started to even out.
"Go too sleep." I said softly compelling him a little.
And he was out like a light.
With that I slowly fell asleep as well.

I was in the kitchen making myself a tea when Jack came down and wrapped his arms round my waist and kissed my shoulder.
"Wondered where you were." He said quietky .
"Needed some space, got stuff to think about." I said.
"Want to talk about it?" He asked.
"I dunno Jacky, I dunno what to do." I said quietly and turned round and hugged him buried my head in his shoulder.
"What's up?" He asked and returned my hug.
"Things are going to start getting messy." I said quietly.
"Explain messy?" He asked confused.
"Grandmother is stepping down which means the Royals are all gonna be fighting for her spot." I said.
"I thought if she stepped down you take her place." He said confused and looked at me.
I sat in the side and Jack stood between my legs.
"I am, so I don't know why they're going on like they are waiting for me too fuck up or something then they just jump on me." I said.
Jack looked at me, its rare that he saw me like this so he doesn't know what to say or do about it.
"Don't let them. You'll do great because you are, you just need to prove that you can do this because you are more than able to do so." He said and kissed me.
I wrapped my arms round his neck and my legs round his.
"But it means I won't see you that much." I pouted.
"You will because you'll always find time." He said and kissed me.

We dragged ourselves too school and we was sat in music.
Jack looked like he was about to fall asleep at any point.
I lent over him.
"Wake up!" I said loudly in his ear and he jumped and looked at me.
"Bastard." He said and slapped my chest.
"You love me really." I smiled and carried on with my work.
He just glared at me and carried on what he was doing.

We was home and being forced to go out when all we wanted to do was watch a film and fall asleep but that ain't gonna happen.
"You don't have too come, I can look after myself." I said and watch Jack get changed.
"But I want too and you said that this part of your Royal duty and since I have to accept that this is now my life I'll go with you, no matter what." He said and looked at me.
"So does that mean I can show you off good and proper." I said and walked over to him.
"You can always show me off. I am yours after all." He smiled.
"Well that's good because I'm gonna show you off." I said and kissed him.

We got back and it was 3 in the morning.
"Fuck this shit man." I said as I dragged myself too the kitchen and made me and Jack and cuppa to take to bed.
"Next time your on your own." Jack yawned.
I chuckled.
"Next time I'm just gonna go off on one and then hopefully never be invited to them anymore." I said and looked at him.
"Don't think that would be very good idea." He said.
I made us our drinks and we slowly crawled to bed.
We put a DVD on and I don't even think we managed to drink our drinks or even watch 10 minutes of the film before we fell asleep.
