Jack

It was the day after my one month anniversary with Nikki, which may not seem like a long time but it was important to me. Especially considering that all my relationships post Jenna barely hit two weeks. We spent the night at her house watching movies, cuddling, and complaining about our stomach aches because of how much food we ate.
It’s only been a month but this girl means everything to me. Her red hair is absolutely stunning and really soft like wow, she’s completely and utterly stunning, and she has the best smile and she’s just amazing. She’s the girl of my dreams and speaking of which I felt her stir in my arms.

“Good morning beautiful.” I whisper to her and kiss her forehead.

“Morning babe.” She murmurs back to me still half asleep.

“We have to start getting ready for school. It’s 5:30.”

“I don’t wanna. Can’t we just stay home today?”

“No, we can’t. You have that math test today, remember?”

“Oh yeah. I need to take that test to boost my grade back up to a B.”

“Exactly. Now let’s go.”

Nikki and I quickly showered and got dressed then walked downstairs to get breakfast. Since we still had an hour until we had to leave I made some pancakes, which is one of the few things I can make without the risk of burning the house down. I finished them relatively quickly and we were eating in no time.

“Holy shit Jack these are amazing.” Nikki said to me after biting in.

“At least try to sound less surprised.” I said smiling.

“In my defense the last time you attempted to cook something you burned it.”

“You make a good point.”

After breakfast we drove to school, well she drove and I played with the radio trying to find a good song. Once we got there we met up with the guys in the cafeteria.

“Hey losers.” I said sitting down and pulling Nikki onto my lap.

“Hey Jack, Ney Nic.” They all replied.

“Jenna!!” Nikki shouted, jumping off my lap and giving her best friend a hug.

“She seems happy, so do you.” Rian commented.

“We are. At least I am. I can already tell I’m falling for her, and falling fast.” I said gazing at
her lovingly.

“No shit. It’s pretty fucking obvious.” Alex said.

“Fuck off.” I said, flipping.him off.

After that the bell rang and I walked up to Nikki and grabbed her hand so we could head to class. She bid goodbye to Jenna and we were on our way. The closer we got to Nikki’s first class, the more visibly nervous she got. It took me a moment to realize why, then I remembered it was math and she had a big test today. In addition to that fucking Eric was in there and he keeps making snide remarks.

“Hey babe. Calm down. You’re going to do great and if Eric tries anything I will not hesitate to pound his face in, okay?” I said pulling her to the side.

“Okay.” She said but she still seemed a little nervous. I leaned in and placed a soft kiss on her lips.

“It’s going to be fine. Now let’s get you to class.”

After I dropped her off at her first period I walked to mine, which was conveniently right across the hall and made my way to my seat in the back next to the window. I gazed out the window thinking of Nikki and how much I loved her. That’s pretty much how class went with me occasionally looking up to write down notes. Once the bell rang I jumped up and walked back across the hall to Nikki’s class.

“How’d the test go?” I asked pecking her cheek and throwing my arm over her shoulders when she walked out.

“Good. I’m feeling a little confident about it.” She replied, smiling up at me.
“I told you there was nothing to worry about.”

“Oh shush.”

“Hey slut, open your legs recently?” A voice said from behind us. I quickly turned around and saw Eric and his friends laughing.

“Hey dick, why don’t you shut your mouth before I shut it for you.” I said calmly, trying to keep my cool.

“I’d like to see you try.” I walked over and got nose to nose with him hoping he’d attempt to swing at me.“Keep up the crude comments and you just might.”

“I can’t help the fact that your girlfriend can’t keep her legs closed. I bet she’s fucked every guy in this school, maybe even more.”

“That’s it.” I said about to pound that fucker into the next century when I felt someone grab my arm.

“Let’s go Jack. He’s not worth it. All he is a immature little boy who resorts to verbal attacks when he gets rejected.” Nikki said to me. I turned around and we kept walking until Eric said something that made both of us stop.

“Sorry your daddy left you NIkki. Although it’s no surprise he left, I mean he’s probably so disappointed to have a daughter who’s a baby prostitute.”

With that comment Nikki let me go and I tackled Eric and started swinging. His friends were too shocked to realize what was going on and I kept swinging until I heard something crack. I jumped up off him and gave him a swift kick to the ribs as well.

“Never, and I mean never, talk about my girlfriend or to her for that matter. You don’t know her and you don’t know what she’s been through.” I spat, kicking him again, then walking back over to my beautiful girl.

“Thanks for defending me babe.” She said looking up at me with her beautiful green blue eyes.

“Always.” I responded leaning down and connecting our lips.
