Nikki's P.O.V

I hate gym and of course it's my first class of the day. I'm just glad that she doesn't make us do stuff. She's just in her office the entire class other then attendance. As I've done in years past I walk in and go to the corner by the girls locker room and sit down. I take my backpack off and sit down plugging in my headphones in putting them in my ears listening to a special playlist I made for this class. Mainly consisting of Blink and Green Day. They're amazing bands. Sue me.

As I'm mindlessly browsing through Twitter I feel a tap on my knee. Shocking really. Everybody usually just ignores me. I look up and pull out a headphone seeing a skunk haired boy.
"Hey. I'm Jack" I bite the inside of my cheek in nervousness. In all three years nobody has talked to me other then to bully me. Well until Sophomore year.
"Hi. I'm Nikki" I extend a hand.
"Nice to meet you Nikki" He shakes my outstretched hand. "Cool shirt by the way. That band is awesome. My favorite next to Blink 182" At that I let out a smile. Finally. Someone with a good taste in music.
"Thanks. Me too"
"If you don't mind me asking why are you over here all alone?"
"Well for one I hate gym and for two I don't have any friends"
