The entire drive to the dance I had butterflies flying like crazy through my stomach. One, because I'm going with Jack and I have no idea how the night's going to go. And two, because I still don't know if Eric goes to Dulaney or not and I really don't want to run into him.

"Nic, we're here" I hear a voice say as it brings me out of my thoughts.
"Oh shit. Okay" I respond getting unbuckled and getting out of the car.
"You okay Nic? You seemed a little freaked in the car" I hear the voice of Jack say.
"Yeah. I'm fine. Just a little nervous is all" I half truthed. It's not necessarily lying...but it's not the whole truth either.
"Okay then. Let's get this party started!!!" I laugh as Jack punches the air. I swear he's a child in a teen's body.
